Well the fan just gets wet and the water drains out. Since it doesn’t run while it’s wet that’s why it hasn’t had electrical issues. Aside from the motor getting locked up and needing to get lubricated everything else os still functional except for the light socket and reverse switch which I’m not fixing as those won’t hold up at all.
Well I’d think that tester would lean into the motor, but since it has literally no vents, that’s probably why it’s dry. And man the blade veneer looks very tired out at worn
are you keeping it in the open in direct rain or under a roof of sorts (indirect exposure to rain, mainly humidity) i’ve had an eros hugger underneath my treehouse in illinois weather for close to 2 years and it still runs ok, kinda warped but no rust (likely because i painted it). recently made a video of it. just curious though.
There is one that needs to be done, but it’s postponed along with a lot of other videos due to having to get a new test area set up. The fan is in worse shape but is now brought in so it doesn’t progress too much in terms of it getting worn out from being outside.
The fact that thing still works is unbelievable to me.

I'd say it's a perfect temporary "outdoor" ceiling fan until the real outdoor ceiling fan comes in, but I personally would NOT bother.
Hey I’m wondering if there’s a phase 3 coming soon.
