Yes, her granddaughter Sophie is Queen of Spain. Her daughter Frederika married Victoria's cousin Paul of Greece.

She was arguably the most beautiful woman of her time!

Wonderful review of Viktoria's life. Politically expedient as her marriage might have been, it's hard to believe it wasn't a love match! I'd like to know more about her brothers. I suppose they married into minor or maybe not so minor German nobility. And fought in World War II.

Her son Wilhelm married a sister of Prince Philip
Princess Sophie of Greece and Denmark, widow of prince Christoph of Hesse-Cassel, remarried prince George of Hanover in 1946. He came to the wedding of prince Edward of the UK.

It must be those Saxe-Coburg genes. Nearly every royal family suddenly looked more beautiful or handsome when those got passed around. Even Queen Victoria was startlingly good-looking when she was younger (though not quite the level of the actress on that show).
