I didn't know these machines existed. Wow
Me neither! I know about the regular pots with the steamer above the water
I am Caribbean culture and we like to season our sea food ! I am also a culinary professional and have been for over 30 years. the liquid juices infused into the crab meat takes it to a different level, in particular having the corn when you bite into it. That seasoned liquid gives the corn a whole new different flavour! The outer shell may not absolved the flavour, however once the crab is cooked in the seasoned liquid you will taste the delicious meat when you remove the shell because the liquid will penetrate through to the the meat. Those seasonings and the sea food boil should have been steaming together in the butter sauce. The crab was Already pre cooked so, bring the butter sauce to a boil with its seasonings, then add the contents into it and cover and steam for about 15 minutes to incorporate everything into the sea food boil ! We have so many crab dishes here and different types of crabs snd one of the things that makes our crab dishes delicious is seasoning the crab in it’s entirety
I don't have room for a big machine, I steam crab legs in the little expanding metal steamer in a stock pot. THANK YOU FOR THE TIMING!!❤❤❤
I steam mine too. Collander or wire rack in a pot w about a inch of water. You don't need another appliance
that works too. some ppl steam a whole lot and like appliances though
That is the way we do it, and even with shrimp and
@@ritabrandow1318 yup, I get her point but I don't need a dedicated steaming appliance. We've cooked for thousands of yrs w only pots/pans and fire
@randymathews3348 have you ever had a doungness 🦀 crab it is the best. It is so delicious. Especially if it is caught and steamed that day . I wasn't good with the crab pot on the land. My boyfriend with some friends had a boat and caught a lot

Not live, but uncooked (raw). You can purchase in most local grocery stores. Some may be frozen. You can also purchase fresh unshucked corn this time of year as well. The taste is so much better!
Thank you Camirra , have a great day . GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY .
Everything looks delicious..😋😋
Love some 🦀🦀🦀 this looks delicious!!!😋 That's a cool appliance 😮.
Thank you 🤗
I miss a good seafood boil. Colorado is not a seafood haven. 😂 I visited my daughter when she lived in Jacksonville FL and Providence RI. I gotta make this! 😋
crab legs are top tier
Omg I gotta get one of those steamer because our whole family eats crab legs and fish regularly yes girl 😂
Looks delicious. I need this steamer. Thanks for sharing.
I’m tuned in friend 😋😋
This 🦀🦀 meal looks so delicious 😋. I'm going to cook this meal. ❤
Yes , $80 for a king crab boil with only two clusters.
Them restaurants rip you off for real. 😮 I don’t hardly ever buy seafood, I make mine at home!
@CamirrasKitchen We did also. Raymond and friends would catch so many they would share with others. Needless to say," we had a lot of friends."
$80? I can all you can eat cheaper than that at the buffet.
Looks so yummy ❤❤❤
Thank you for saying that! I’m not sure why everyone is seasoning the crab shell now 😩
😂 look I used to do it. Got caught up, now that I’m free I got to free everyone else 😂
You’re not seasoning the crab shells. The seasoned liquid will penetrate the crab meat from the shells. When you crack open the shells the meat will be moist and flavourful! I can’t imagine steaming corn, potatoes and crab for seafood boil with just water.
im telling you it doesnt. if you are boiling it, sure, but steaming or baking, makes no differnce.
I love your videos so much
Hey Camirra 🤗 I really like that steamer. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️💯
This is a nice meal for seafood lovers... except boxed crab and bagged corn??? I would like to see fresh corn in summer
I am in nj I went to the grocery to get Alaskan king crab legs, $49.99 I was allergic right away😁😁😁😁
😂😂😂
Looks scrumptious ❤
@Camirra'sKitchen I used to work fot Shaws seafood, here in Jacksonville

Glad someone said the truth thats actually qualified.
Looks delicious
Chef Camirra 👩🏽🍳😘, your sea food boil looks exceptionally Delicious 😋 with a burst of aromatic sensational flavours 😊 Absolutely exquisite 👌well done 👏🏽👏🏽🥰❤️🥰👩🏽🍳💛💐🧡
Good for single people not family friendly though
I don’t know how anyone with a family affords to buy seafoods out. That being said crabs is high even if you make them at home for a family
@@CamirrasKitchen the size of that particular machine is too small too cook for a family I meant. For mine anyway, that's why I said it's good for singles.
Ohh ok I get you
Perfect sell!
Delicious 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Did I see that right? An Elevation T-shirt?! 🤯🤯🤯😊❤
Yes 🙌
Restaurant Depot 10lbs for $350-400 Alaskan King Crab Legs.... smoked them with apple wood chunks
Approved! 😂😅🎉🎉
Can you add info about this steamer, never heard of it before, would really love to purchase one
I see it in the description box❤
Can broth be used instead of water
no it wont add any extra flavor. trust, the flavor is in the butter
😋😋😋
Where did you purchase this steamer from
link in description
No, no, and no. Pre-cooked seafood won't ever be cooked again in our kitchen. We like to season and cook to our own liking, never someone else's. Buy raw and add your own signature flavor, you'll thank yourself greatly.
I don’t have access to live crab. 🦀 of course that is best, but I’m not in a coastal area

Okay I know you are on your healthy living journey ! But your viewers know you are from cooking well and stick to your ribs food that's good for the soul 😂 where the collar greens with ham hock fried chicken and cornbread 🤣
i actually eat all of it! i like healthy food and "stick to you rib" food. actually it all depends on what ppl click and watch. i was doing only soul food for a long time but ppl werent interested any more. maybe i will have to try another soul food video out and see how ppl respond
@@CamirrasKitchen really I can't believe that! Well the whole world seems like they are on a healthy life journey! But most people don't cook like they used to either! Them channels with all the Fast Food! views be through the roof 🤦🤷
I also like the soul food content best and am less drawn to the so called healthy food :)
Having said that, Camirra's salads look delicious too. So did this dish, though I don't have easy access to crab legs and don't have much counter space for many kitchen appliances.
😎😎😎
Eggs and crab legs???
never had a seafood boil?
@@CamirrasKitchen Have had plenty of seafood boils, just not with an egg..
