As an International Captain for the Largest Airline in the world I have also traveled the world. I have watched hundreds of these types of videos. This young Lady has produced the best quality and best format of these I have ever seen. She cut to the chase leaving out all the nonsense!!!! My Compliments!!!!!!!!!
That’s great to know. I’m interested in doing exactly that very soon. I need a break from the states. Trying to decide now which South American Nation to travel to for several weeks, out of Ecuador, Argentina, and Panama.
I love this video beautiful, cuenca is a city amazing, the view, the weather, the people, everything is cool and awesome, keep it up like this cute with videos about cuenca, greeting from Ecuador
I suggest to visit the link you share in the description of this video. It's well detailed about Cuenca and other places in Ecuador. You have done a great work! So your effort compensate to the minimal unpleasant soundtrack for few of us. Thanks and keep up your great videos, loved it
A well-produced video, showcasing a diverse, vibrant and very 'visitable' city with plenty to see and do. Thank you. My only criticism, and it's a minor one, is the soundtrack, which sounds like something out of a European dance club. The music doesn't really suit the relajado sights shown in the photography.
Yes, Cuenca is such a vistitable city - we love it, of course! :-) Regarding the music... Sometimes I can be a little defensive about my videos, but I have to agree with you that the music is horrible. I hate it. It doesn't suit the video at all. The reason for this rather unpleasant soundtrack was because we needed to quickly publish the video when the blog post went live. I spent hours searching for an appropriate tune, delaying publishing, and was greatly limited on a free-use track that spanned over 5 minutes. This was the best I could find on short notice and I cringed when publishing it.
On #8 'discover NATIVE speces to cuenca' - Then you show video of huge aligators. Are there just aligators wondering around cuenca? I know this video is in a reserve or w/e but u say 'native' species
No one cares lol, but i like the background music. It makes me get it the right traveling energy n happiness of road trips and concerts and going and seeing dif places. I totally enjoyed the video and it waa happy all the places I saw. Happy it a beautiful earth eith many great places to go or live.
South America doesn't do it for me. Much prefer Asia, somewhere like Vietnam, where it's cheap, safe and fun. But safety is my number priority. That's why I wouldn't visit South America.
What a nonsense statement! It comes from someone who doesn't know anything about Latin America! I'm from Germany and I have been all over Latin America - from Mexico down to Chile - and during all those years nothing ever happened to me! Yes, there are some countries than are less safe than others. In each city there are parts (barrios) that are dangerous and you should avoid to go there. But if you stick to certain rules you can even go out at night and nothing will happen to you. My most dangerous experience in Latin America was with Mexican food - it almost killed me! I felt dead for 2 days, my stomach was ging crazy - apart of this no problems.
@@globaltraveller6418 quite clearly you've explained everything. "If you stick to this rule, and if you avoid this area" 😂😂😂 I'm not saying South America is the most dangerous place in the world. What I'm saying is: I don't like these rules. Having to avoid this area, and going out at certain times. That's not life for me. I have no wish to ever visit a place like that. I've been to the worst areas in Penang (Malaysia), scariest places in Thailand, and so on, at early hours in the morning, on my own, and they've been the safest places in the world. In Asia, I can walk anywhere, any time, total freedom. Don't have to look over my shoulder. Is that hard to grasp? 🤣🤣🤣 You cannot do that in South America. In Rio, you step out of the safe zone, Satan awaits!!! 😂😂😂 I do not wish to visit places like this. I don't like this culture. I don't enjoy life like this. It's just my choice.
@@maccybear8093 You are certainly right with some points. But you should also keep in mind that South America is very huge and there are a lot of differences Inside the continent. Brazil is for sure more dangerous than other countries and particularly Rio has in fact many very bad places. I also do not like Rio or Porto Alegre (one of the worst cities I know). The safest places are Uruguay (my favourite country), Argentina (of course Buenos Aires has some bad parts) and Chile. Also my experience in Ecuador has been very positive. Colombia and Peru are a bit less safe but still ok. In general the unsafest places are more in Central America - Panama and Costa Rica are ok, but I have also not yet been to Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua and Guatemala. These are scary places. The Dominican Republic has beautiful beaches and crystal clear water but apart of this it's for me the worst place to go in Latin America. As being from Europe I must say - no other continent has so many nice and beautiful cities than we have! No matter where you go - north, south, east, west - many great places. Even I have still not seen all of them. In terms of cities with culture, old historic buildings and diversity Europe is the best part (and of course safer than others 😄).
@@globaltraveller6418 thanks for the info. Uruguay is somewhere I'd love to visit. Like yourself, my sister has travelled across South America, and Ecuador is somewhere special for her. She says Ecuador has everything. Who knows, one day I might visit.

Wow wonderful views of the City!!👌👌😊
Cuenca is a great place to get away for a couple of months (like in the winter). It's pretty safe and food is healthy and cheap.
That’s great to know. I’m interested in doing exactly that very soon. I need a break from the states. Trying to decide now which South American Nation to travel to for several weeks, out of Ecuador, Argentina, and Panama.

Love your style, the photography is beautiful.
Un buen video lo que falta es mostrar las partes modernas de la ciudad
Everything is beautiful except the music
Just mute it and play local Ecuadorian music in the background
In 30 years I want to retire in Ecuador. I need to plan a visit. I went once when I was 10.
A good choice. I wouldn't mind retiring there either. 👌

"Ecuador's native species," not necessarily native to Cuenca. No crocs wandering around Cuenca. Only at the Bioparque.
Better music please
