In today's video, I used focus stacking on a wide-angle lens with my Nikon Z7 to rescue a landscape photo. The light was perfect for this shoot and without focus stacking I wouldn't have captured a sharp photo.

I use a Canon 1Dx Mk2 for both photo and video of my Macaws. Your Nikon Z7 really gives an incredible composition possibility, incredible potential with your camera! I no longer travel or shoot landscape, but your system of shooting is incredible, thanks for sharing!

Sometimes I focus stack.However I use a Tilt Shift lens for most close foreground.
I do prefer to use my Tilt Shift lens for all of my close foreground and in focus images
when shooting this way.

Not bad, wondering when you take the time to edit and process your images.
Why were the mountains out of focus on your hyperfocal shot?
They weren't. Insurance shot..... covered it in the editing part of the video.
Why not use the focus-shift feature of the Z7ii?
