When the PC version of Dead Rising 1 came out a Time Skip mod came out for it soon after for Speedrunners. That category, time skipping to Ending A, is already down to sub 30 minutes on the original.
I think it was fixed to just skip to the next Case though, so I'm looking forward to the remaster enabling more Speedrun category's, like an All Survivors Run or something.

I have it digitally on Xbox one and physically on 360, Need the physical version for ps4 otherwise it doesn’t count🤷🏻♂️😂
The advantage of the Physical release being delayed by a couple of months is that when they do release, it will have any day 1 patch with issues and bugs already fixed and installed so the game is more playable out of the box in the future. I understand that’s an issue for content creators but surely it’s better in the long run all round to have physical games be more stable in the future when perhaps being able to download patches is no longer possible if they take the servers for that console offline. I know your talking a long way off but any physical collector must see the benefits of that for game preservation. The alternative is to delay the digital release until adequate testing and bug fixing is done so that day 1 patches are no longer needed but that is not likely to happen. It’s pretty much like the gap between the digital and physical release is often becoming the Developers Live “Beta” testing window.
The alternative is to only release games in playable states rather than releasing them at full price and having people essentially beta test them for a while to fix stuff. Like how things were once upon a time
@@cayletalksyes I totally agree that is the best way. Being a gamer for over 45 years I do miss those days. It just seems that it’s become the norm for them to launch the game and use the player base to help iron out all the issues. So many games now are released with issues that it has led me to hardly ever buy games on release any more. I have a couple of thousand games in my various collections anyway so I am never without a ton of games demanding my attention anyway lol. Great content BTW, keep it up 👍
