Such a good work dude, can you send the files in the comments? It would make easier for people to print! 😄

It is not the size of the blade what matters, its how you use it

may I know what applications you are using? I'm trying to start some project but doesn't know how

For geometric Design I use Fusion 360, for 3D Printing I use Cura. For organic design (which I need for my next project) I am learning Blender. All of them are free! 😉

Extremely cool. Wonder if you could mount a gearing system to allow the blades to extend further when opening? It would also increase the speed of opening, but of course, that would cause a lot more stress on the components.

Absolutely Duke! A telescopic mechanism would work great. If I were to do that, I'd increase the room between my arm and the mechanism so it has more breathing room and avoid placing too much in a minimal space. And I agree about the stress on the components. To tackle that, it would help to increase the thickness on the parts / adding ribs to make them tougher (or consider metal), have 2 levers to connect to the hand instead of 1, etc...

Hey maybe for v2 use like cables and what not instead of solid rods it might slim it down but cool build otherwise :D

Glad you liked the build! I was meaning to use fishing wires because of their strength and durability in a future project and they would most definitely remove volume!

Glad you like them! I think it's because I only have 10 videos out + shorts. I am trying to upload more often, since that's the best way to grow, along with quality videos, of course 😄
