@@HandsomeTez I only went to the weapon vendor. I spent about 20hrs just trying different ways to destroy the front gate guards. They keep coming in progressively tougher waves. Then went through the car park area methodically slow to get to every corner. Almost every vehicle in there has lootable gear and weapons, there are investigation points, and one area...nevermind. you'll find it.
they don't sell the Iguana Egg unfortunately - only every iconic weapon you crossed paths with in story steps but locked yourself out of accomplishing (so they also sell Doom Doom etc) @@HandsomeTez

It's funny to imagine that Yorinobu forbade anyone from removing his dad's corpse from the plaza, or that Arasaka is so strict on who can approach the emperor the plaza couldn't get a corpse removal service to get there
side note, I feel really bad about the plaza itself, if someone like the head of arasaka himself can get assassinated in it, the place is not safe for anyone, at least in the eyes of the common folk who are unaware Saburo's asssassination was by the hands of his own son. I can already picture the place going completely out of business in the near future because no company can bounce back after the death of the most important person in the planet happened in their premises
I wish they'd just give in and make it an area, add a bunch of hazard holograms and Arasoka goons everywhere so the challenge is just getting to the top instead of trying to find all the weird invisible geometry to get up
I was so bummed when I found out about the Iguana egg since I was already so far in the game. I was so sure I'd gotten everything with the knife and the katana on the roof and then my friend was like 'did you get the Iguana?'. Thanks so much for this!

@@lonlylucario5324 At game release, I played twice through back to back, getting every achievement and completing every quest. I'm currently running through my third playthrough on patch 2.0. Yes, it's a commitment, but not playing Apex Legends helps in that regard. Also, why rush? The game is beautiful and so much care put into characters and environments that I could literally walk around in the city for hours without doing any quests.
Thanks, this is amazing! Door tricked worked well using the Delamain for me, first few tries and I got it. For the final jump @ 6:12, I actually went to the left side as per a previous comment I read and was able to make the jump in 2 tries - much easier than doing on the right side where you're doing it, tried at least 20 times.
I found another secret room while following this guide through a ventilation shaft that led to some arasaka themed clothing in a small broom closet in the room

@8:23 if you continue going forward and then turn left around the corner, look left right after the corner, and there is an entrance to another hidden (for me at least) room, which has few tier 3 components and a armor vest. This is my very first playthrough, so appologies if this is common knowledge :D
IMPORTANT CLARIFICATION: Nehan WILL be present on Saburo on a pre 2.0 save as long as you didn't loot him during The Heist. If you looted his dogtag it wont be there because he's already looted.

You can also use just any vehicle, park as close as you can, and kinda wiggle V between the building's door and your car and with some luck it will push you towards the door and the door will open. I used the Hoon, climbed on the car roof and slid in between the building and the car and wiggled a bit and the door opened.
@@wolframban Take any car, park very close to the building door, get on top of the car, walk towards door until you are wedged between the car and building's door, move around/crouch spam etc until the door opens
Thanks for showing this - I found a much easier way to get inside the building. Same spot you was doing with a car - but just park the car in an 30° angle in front of the door and crouch next to the car - so the angle of the car body pushes you in the doorway - et voila door opens and you are in. No fiddeling with car parking in the right spot - hope that helps someone cheers

To open the gates with the car, you can also block your passenger door with another car and then just find the right angle for the drivers door to open.
Thanks a lot! Two things I noticed when I walked through: 1:50 - Main door was wide open for me 5:52 - instead, aim at the top of the safety cage for that ladder in front of you. There was an invisible platform there to easily climb up to.
Can confirm it still works for 2.2 also if anyone is having trouble positioning the car what I did was just leave a small gap for me to get next to and I just crouched between it and it pushed me through. Also for the ladder I was able to jump on the bigger ledge to the left of the ladder.
@@Hermit999 with the gate to your back and facing the building.. I went to the left side wall and was able to jump up onto things and then fall down into the water near the shore
I dunno if you saw it but on the way out, before you drop back through the open skylight, there is a secret room with a shard, teir 4 bounce and an Arasaka Reactive mini skirt thing. Instead of going down the skylight just keep going around and there will be a room to the left.

Not Patched but you can do it easier with the "TYPE-66 "HOON" by opening the stash to push you into the door close to the door sneak and open the stash worked first time

2.1 here , NOTHING WORKED AT FIRST!! I was going to give up!!! But then I reloaded my save and squeezed my character in between the door and the car and crouched, and walked and hit random buttons, and it works just like the comments say!! But at first, I didn’t work at all!!!
Just to say the double-jump is the hardest to use, what you want is the 'Charged jump', press and hold to charge, release to jump. Get the Charged jump cyberware and its a breeze to get into the apartment. Thanks for sharing the new skylight access. I hadn't heard of that before.
I got in on my 3rd try and here's a tip. When you are jumping to the ledge to get into the apartment you need to jump a bit further to the left becasue you get blocked and on the left there is no invisible ceiling :)
There is another little loot room on the same level right before you go back down through the skylight. It has the [Corporate Dress] and some other trinkets.
Got this with the Delamain, thanks for the guide. And a tip from me: easier to reposition through reverse. Hold the brake and rev your reverse (spacebar and S). By releasing the brake at brief intervals allows MINISCULE movements. Much easier to prevent over correction this way :)

So fun fact, it looks like that skylight is open for a reason, other than this. I never noticed this before, but when i went back for the Iguana egg, and i went up the skylight, if you turn left and co around the cover, there is a vent that opens into a storage room with a locker of loot to grab, and some medical items. I guess you have the option of grabbing these if you know they are there during the Heist.
This is an amazing tutorial! Also the only way I got through the front door was with a Caliburn, (the doors slide back into place and push you) and *crucially* by parking another car by the passenger door. Glad they kept it still possible.
Still works In 2.2 and also, just a quick tip for the samurais out there, I found that using charged jump is a lot easier for some of the parkour needed, and another guy already said this put if you place your car in front of you and use the "floor it" quick hack you can get into the building way easier.
The invisible object that you mysteriously grab onto right before you get to the Penthouse... it's where you jump during the heist. The ledge is visually smaller than anything you walk on but I'm sure that it has more mass that is just rendered as invisible.

something i've notice with the air sash is that its momentum will push you up a wall a few feet if you're right next to the wall, that may help with the part you don't have a strategy for, double jump to max height and then air dash into the wall and the momentum should be enough to get you up that wall consistently
I remember using the glitch when this game first came out where you basically scale the side of the building by spamming the melee button with an invisible sword. Don’t remember the key combination.. but it worked.
Trick that I used to open it was get even closer with the same car, but when I get out on the right, I hope up go to the driver side crouch and get the prompt to F to open and when I do the door opened right away! Edit: Also the character Im playing on and did this on was made on day 1 launch, I go back and the new knife and dog tags are on his body.
Weirdly enough on my second character that was also before 2.0 did not have the items on his body, so maybe its some do some don't I guess@@HandsomeTez
if someones struggling with the car like me, you can just place the car pretty close to the gate in a straight line (i used delamain) and then just get on top of the car where the drivers seat is, you will bounce around in that little gap where you enter the drivers seat but dont enter, just bounce around close to the gate. took a bit but it worked. :p
Hey Tez, so for the part with the ladder where you originally fall off with jackie, I found a way easier tip, jump back once and double jump up into the ladder it'll naturally let you grab it.
Still works, thanks! Will say, its a must-have to equip the "fortified ankles" cyberware, and to also quicksave often. The car part was kinda tricky but trial and error and it works out!
Also, before jumping down back through the skylight window go straight and around the corner to the left and down into that little room that has the shoes that go with the outfit, plus the health box on the wall, some components and a shard. Then climb back up go down through the skylight window.

Found an easier way park your car similar to the position at 3:04 and if you have to get out on the passenger side just jump over and crouch next to the gate and it will open
Just did this on 2.2, still working. Much easier way for me to get through the door at the beginning, park slightly too close to the door so you get out the other side, then just jump over and wedge yourself between the building door and car door. As long as you can get into the car, the animation pushes you through the shutter and opens it up while you get into the car.
Alternatively to open the barriers of konpeki plaza, you can use your quickhacks to lift the barricades and then use a grenade (either just in-hand, or throwing carefully) near the NPCs that sit at the outdoor bar. They will get scared and run into Konpeki plaza and the metal shutters will remain permanently open.
Super sweet guide! The only thing I would add to make things easier is the jump on the diagonal edge that is far away in front of you at 6:04. Just stand straight underneath it and double jump up, it's the only part of this ledge that is grabable. Thanks again!
There's a secret room that contains a data shard among other things if you go the direction opposite of the exit latch on the walkway after you jump up through the sky light.
car door trick still works, but it seems like the length of the car door matters. get a long door, and v will step out farther i think. wasnt able to do it using a car with a small door
I love the way secret lore is so prevalent in the game, theres secret way tou can play around with the game is a manner i havent really seen in any other mjaor titile like this
I prefer using the Caliburn to get into the door. Park it at an angle so you can get closer. Since the doors open upwards it’s easier to get out of the driver side that passenger side since there’s more space. Great video overall!
i could provide a big tip. park car get out on passenger door then spawn a different car it will spawn on top of previous one, causing signifigant damage to each car.... but the doors open right up. ive done it several times on 2.1
I was trying the car door for an hour, and it would not work no matter what. But I wedged myself in between the plaza door in the car, and it glitched me inside and opened up the plaza door.
You can replicate an easier jump to get up to the arasaka suite. Just go for the widening of the ledge you can see in 06:27. Made it very quickly there.
Just did it and I confirm this works. I entered the Konpeki compound with the Delamain car and I also glitched inside the hotel with it. Thank you very much.
5:25 you can do that jump without having to stand on the railing, wait till you are at the peak of your jump and then jump again and v should just grab onto the ledge edit: i did the entire thing just to grab the lizard egg so thanks for the tutorial, definitely worth the effort.

It took me all of one attempt with the double jump. Don't waste your money on charged jump.

I made a video about that once but my face was in it, and I'm self conscious so I unlisted it. lol.
you can enter the plaza easier by setting up a car pointing at a door, standing right infront of the door and quickhacking the car to floor it

That worked 1st try for me 1000 tomes times easier then the door method
This is an amazing tutorial! Also the only way I got through the front door was with a Caliburn, (the doors slide back into place and push you) and *crucially* by parking another car by the passenger door. Glad they kept it still possible.

Still works In 2.2 and also, just a quick tip for the samurais out there, I found that using charged jump is a lot easier for some of the parkour needed, and another guy already said this put if you place your car in front of you and use the "floor it" quick hack you can get into the building way easier.

The invisible object that you mysteriously grab onto right before you get to the Penthouse... it's where you jump during the heist. The ledge is visually smaller than anything you walk on but I'm sure that it has more mass that is just rendered as invisible.

something i've notice with the air sash is that its momentum will push you up a wall a few feet if you're right next to the wall, that may help with the part you don't have a strategy for, double jump to max height and then air dash into the wall and the momentum should be enough to get you up that wall consistently

I remember using the glitch when this game first came out where you basically scale the side of the building by spamming the melee button with an invisible sword. Don’t remember the key combination.. but it worked.
That was such an crazy method, but it worked. The glitches were mad back then.

Trick that I used to open it was get even closer with the same car, but when I get out on the right, I hope up go to the driver side crouch and get the prompt to F to open and when I do the door opened right away!
Edit: Also the character Im playing on and did this on was made on day 1 launch, I go back and the new knife and dog tags are on his body.
Firstly, nice technique, similar to my last one. Secondly, damn why wasn't it there for me I wonder. I also test on my original launch day toon.

if someones struggling with the car like me, you can just place the car pretty close to the gate in a straight line (i used delamain) and then just get on top of the car where the drivers seat is, you will bounce around in that little gap where you enter the drivers seat but dont enter, just bounce around close to the gate. took a bit but it worked. :p

Hey Tez, so for the part with the ladder where you originally fall off with jackie, I found a way easier tip, jump back once and double jump up into the ladder it'll naturally let you grab it.

I found out that exploding your car near the gray door will break it and allow you to enter easily

Also, before jumping down back through the skylight window go straight and around the corner to the left and down into that little room that has the shoes that go with the outfit, plus the health box on the wall, some components and a shard. Then climb back up go down through the skylight window.

Found an easier way park your car similar to the position at 3:04 and if you have to get out on the passenger side just jump over and crouch next to the gate and it will open

Just did this on 2.2, still working. Much easier way for me to get through the door at the beginning, park slightly too close to the door so you get out the other side, then just jump over and wedge yourself between the building door and car door. As long as you can get into the car, the animation pushes you through the shutter and opens it up while you get into the car.
can confirm this works (but is hard, takes a few tries!) I did it with the Porsche 911 Samurai (the one that isn’t Johnny’s car, the one you can buy)
Alternatively to open the barriers of konpeki plaza, you can use your quickhacks to lift the barricades and then use a grenade (either just in-hand, or throwing carefully) near the NPCs that sit at the outdoor bar.
They will get scared and run into Konpeki plaza and the metal shutters will remain permanently open.

Super sweet guide! The only thing I would add to make things easier is the jump on the diagonal edge that is far away in front of you at 6:04. Just stand straight underneath it and double jump up, it's the only part of this ledge that is grabable. Thanks again!
There's a secret room that contains a data shard among other things if you go the direction opposite of the exit latch on the walkway after you jump up through the sky light.

First time i got the katana but not the knife, second time the other way around. Never knew about the iguana
car door trick still works, but it seems like the length of the car door matters. get a long door, and v will step out farther i think. wasnt able to do it using a car with a small door

I prefer using the Caliburn to get into the door. Park it at an angle so you can get closer. Since the doors open upwards it’s easier to get out of the driver side that passenger side since there’s more space. Great video overall!

i could provide a big tip. park car get out on passenger door then spawn a different car it will spawn on top of previous one, causing signifigant damage to each car.... but the doors open right up. ive done it several times on 2.1
I was trying the car door for an hour, and it would not work no matter what. But I wedged myself in between the plaza door in the car, and it glitched me inside and opened up the plaza door.

You can replicate an easier jump to get up to the arasaka suite. Just go for the widening of the ledge you can see in 06:27. Made it very quickly there.

5:25 you can do that jump without having to stand on the railing, wait till you are at the peak of your jump and then jump again and v should just grab onto the ledge
edit: i did the entire thing just to grab the lizard egg so thanks for the tutorial, definitely worth the effort.
