I think I'm going to do this in metallic autumn batik colors and change the trees to maple leaves. I love the variation that could be done to fit any season. Spring could be crosses or flowers and summer could be red white and blue colors with stars and stripes. Endless ideas. Thanks Misty, ur amazing!!!
Since you make.lots of log cabin blocks, maybe you can answer this question. How do you press the seams around the outer row of strips? This is my first quilt with log cabin blocks, and if I press the seams toward the outside, then my seams won't nest when I sew my blocks together. Thanks a lot!
this was so much fun making this sew alone quilt love doing sew alone feels like I am sewing with someone instead of by myself just hearing your voice and we are sewing the same thing together I never do quilts I always do table runners of throws this is my first large quilt thanks for the videos
Did I miss the last video for assembly of this quilt top.... I'm pretty sure I can figure it out but I'd like to see the last video if there is one. Thanks!!
I am bummed out also that they didn’t do the last video on how to assemble the quilt. I guess I can figure it out also, but at the end of this video she says there is another video. 😢
How would I be able to receive notification when there is another opportunity to purchase a kit and join a sew along? I missed this one and it is such a pretty and fun looking quilt that I wish I hadn’t missed it.
By the time I was able to order the fabric (retired, fixed income, had to save up) the kits were long gone & almost all the yardage was gone too. Understand no more is expected. I would have loved to do this in those fabrics for my oldest granddaughter who was Little Red Riding Hood in a local production of the musical. Won't happen unless the manufacturer decides to make more 😥 so I'm going to have to try to substitute. I wish when kits are made that MSQC would make more of them available since so many people love them! I don't do Facebook so any time something in a kit is released through the Facebook Live, by the time it's posted on RUclips & I see it the kits are always long gone.
How do you properly trim blocks down to the correct finished size? My blocks are seem to be bigger then the 7 1/2 unfinished. I am afraid to trim them. What am I doing wrong?
I realize this isn’t related to what you are making but, Misty, you and Jenny said you use press-on nails and I think they look so nice. Can you provide the specifics of what you use, please?
She said the last strip was 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" so I'm going to guess that, since it's a square block, it is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". I don't have the pattern so I could be wrong.

Think I’ll make this with a Kansas Troubles layer cake I have. It will look awesome. Thanks for this easy project and the row by row instructions.
Down and to the right, then flip. Got it! Cute quilt!

Did I miss the last video of this series? I thought there was supposed to be one more.
Nice quilt
Where is the last video for the completion of this quilt?
खुप छान.सुंदर.
Great block. Do you have protective pad under the pressing mat to prevent the steam from damaging the table top?
I did not so we now have what my husband jokingly calls a ghost in the dining room table! 🥴 He makes up stories about it when we have company. 😉
Oops...I have a lumpy cutting mat

Where do I find the 1/4” seam tape you have on your machine?

colorstreet nails use real nail polish and are easy to apply they also have lots of fun designs not sure if they use these or a different brand
Duck girl mind your fingers. Where is the best nail clipper?
What kind of iron is that?
Oh! Its evident.
Where is the final week video?
Wondering the same thing.
@@ladonnamcalister1310 I sent MSQ a message asking about this.
I’m so glad you did! I’m not sure how to send them a message.
@@ladonnamcalister1310 I got them to post it.
@@FEDUP-mf4sz yay! You are awesome!
Can I buy the kit? Pattern?
Can I still get the block instructions for this quilt?
@Nancy Agler The pattern is available on their website.
RUclips search "into the woods " for al. Video
Are you applying different strokes?
I still didn't receive my month of the block kit.
Did you call the MSQC office?
What is the actual size of the log cabin finished block?
She said the last strip was 1 1/2" x 7 1/2" so I'm going to guess that, since it's a square block, it is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2". I don't have the pattern so I could be wrong.

Where is Jake?????
What’s that, Libido? Outerlayer, right?
Certainly, assimilate the instructions. We are close to climax... okay. Take care. Shh, I am an illusionist.
Correct, I am bored and attempting to be silly. Funny, right?
Where is Jake?
