These are the big four main rides/roller coasters coming to Six Flags Theme Parks for the 2013 season, compiled in this one video.
Texas SkyScreamer is a 400 ft. "Star Flyer" attraction going into Six Flags Over Texas. It will be the tallest swing ride in the world. To make room for this mammoth tower, Six Flags is removing Flashback, a Vekoma Boomerang coaster and the Texas Chute-Out parachute tower.

The old Rattler wooden coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is going under a massive renovation to become the Iron Rattler! It will be a steel hybrid - with an INVERSION! More details here:

Full Throttle is the worlds fastest looping roller coaster and it will be added to Six Flags Magic Mountain.

I went on Full Throttle. Besides focusing on breaking records Magic Mountain has really designed that ride so it feels thrilling and fun. That's why they made it a triple launch coaster.

Six Flags over Texas in Arlington Just opened the Sky Screamer and it holds the world record. I CANT WAIT TO RIDE IT!!!

That looks like it has the potential to literally be one of the greatest coasters ever.
Boomerang has exactly the same track layout as The Bat at Canada's Wonderland. It gives a very fun ride (very peppy) but the lines are notoriously long since there's only one train. Full Throttle looks amazing, I definitely must ride that at some point.

The Six Flags rides won't be ready until 2014, they're always late. GK at Cedar Point, will open on time, plus it's B&M, they're reliable. Always plan your trip for the year after a coaster is set to open.
I have been on Windseeker At Canada's wonderland, If your OK with heights, this ride is actually pretty relaxing, nice break from roller coasters
exactly. just in Southern California alone you have Lego Land, Disneyland, Knotts and i guess Universal Studios as well. i worked at MM til last April, cant believe rumors of full throttle are still going around. i hope they do indeed get it!!

Yes, but Magic Mountain wraps around a big hill, if you were to lay that hill down flat, it would cover more acres than SFOG. You are correct about the sale, it's definitely not up for auction by SF.

Omg!!! Boomerang was the first roller coaster I've ever ridden in Worlds of Fun in Kansa City!!!! And now they're getting one in St Louis which is where I'm going next year!! My life is made! And no they don't have Boomerang in Chicago either.
The 'top hat' on Full Throttle is a cool idea. Suprised it hasn't been thought of before.
Oh, I dunno. Outlaw Run at Silver Dollar City beats 'em all, IMO. It's the world's first inverted wooden coaster, and OMG, it's mindblowing!
The Boomerang was a ride called The Demon at Australia's Wonderland in Sydney in the early 1990's to early 2000's.
omg the texas skyscreamer at six flags over texas is so scary and so fun dallas is 1 hour away and you can see it at the top!!! im only ten and ive been on it like 5 times
Listen to the background noise on the first ride, Sky Screamer. That sounds Exactly like the sound that a Huss Rainbow makes! lol It sounds like the sound the gondola makes as it's going up & over and coming back down. As for the Sky Screamer, hope a chain doesn't break, otherwise that's a LONG way down! lol
yes any tower building or structure that including roller coasters over 200-250 feet high will have to have a flashing light on the top that showing aircraft there is a tower there. but still no tower can be no taller than 2,000-2,500 feet due to the force of gravity that may collapse the structure.
so happy I live in cali and only 40mins from magic mountain...we always get the best rides

That ride boomerang used to be at Six Flags Arlington. It was called Flash Back and they took down that ride and the parachute to replace it with Sky Screamer... Same ride just different name...

Full throttle is the best ride ever! I got to six flags magic mountain every other week!
From reports, the woman who died on Texas Giant, was because the seatbelt went undone during the ride. There is no other way the woman would have fallen out, unless it was already loose. Which I high doubt because they would know that before letting the cart go.
yeah i actually went back to the park about a month ago and saw it in works. glad they have it up (and no i didnt know it was confirmed or saw the end of the vid i posted while i was watching lol.
I went to 6 flags New England during fright fest. I absolutely loved it. Couldn't of asked for a more perfect vacation. Loved every single ride. I wish it was closer though. (I live in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada so it's like an 8 hour drive)

what about six flags la ronde
the thing about this ride is that it will highly risky for the passengers on board. If the ride gets the high gravity pulls harder(as we all know.) and as the ride spins gravity pulls even harder. depending on the cables the use to suspend the ride's cart in the air they have a high risk of snapping. so if they use the cables used to suspend the golden gate bridge there fine. anything less POP goes the weasel!!!!
It's funny because GateKeeper has the tallest inversion at 170ft.
But it all depends,Full Throttle has a loop,and technically it is the tallest LOOP but not inversion.But the general public calls all coaster inversions ''loops'' and/or ''twists''
Texas Sky Screamer is just another name for the Knotts WindSeeker! Only it's in a different location.
The Boomerang for some amusement parks, has been called many other names like The Bat. Yawn. Been there, done that... that's it? Or so I thought until I watched this video. Now that's a ride! Ain't nothing like they have a La Ronde in Montreal nor at Paramount's Canada's Wonderland. Wicked. The one featured in this video... wicked!

We have a 'boomerang' here but it's called The Bat. The line is always so friggen long, i didn't find it that great. Especially to wait 2 hours for it.
Carowinds already has that. I rode it and it is the scariest thing I have ever ridden. Scarier than the intimidator (Tallets/fastest roller coaster in the south east)

There needs to be a Six Flags park closer to me! The nearest one is Magic Mountain, and that's a 9-hour drive. It's not fair; Texas has two! Man I wish they'd build one here... :(
I love Six Flags Magic Mountain. I think Six Flags Magic Mountain is was the first Six Flags park. Oh and Full throttles the best. The loop is amazing because you feel weightless. =]

The boomerang isnt too bad except for one thing.....when you go up the 2nd hill, it jars you around somethin awful when the chain grabs ya. Other than that it is pretty good
In RCT3 It will be hard to replicate Full Throtle with out a mod of somesorts. U can do the top hat with the options thingy but there will need to be a mod for the RANDOM backwards launch.

6 flags reuses their rides. It might break down at one park, they fix it, and then send it to another park. What happened at the Texas one was that when the man checked her seatbelt, she told him that she did not hear the click and he said it fine.apparently there was been other reports of things like that.... so idk.
have you been on a ride with the new designed seat belts...its amazing the shoulder harnes doesn't get used anymore its all about the waist seatbelt, makes rides 10x better.
Also the new seat belts are 10x safer than the belt back up harness.

Samantha Cash Her stomach lifted above the restraint when it went over the airtime hill. The restraint was in the same position as it was when it came back into the station. Since it was resting on her stomach and not her lap, that made a huge gap when her fat lifted up.

Yes, Windseeker and SkyScreamer are the same thing I believe? May be diffrent but I am not sure. Very scary ride.
They had a boomerang in alabama, but they sold it and they are adding a sky screamer at six flags over georgia!
at canada's wonderland its called the bat (and probably at other parks too) but the majority of them are called boomerang

If California, Missouri, Texas and Georgia were having a roller coaster competition based on new ones then I think Texas might win because its getting SkyScreamer and Iron Rattler. Georgia might come in a close second.

Knotts Berry Farm in California has the Boomerang ride. I can't tell for sure but it looks like the exact same track layout as the one shown in this video.

The rails were steel -- I think that's what he meant. It was FLAT steel (like the one in Fiesta Texas), however -- not tubular like some "hybrids".
What about wind-seeker, while they dont have any of the other rides, boomerang in an old design, many parks have it. Full throttle looks cool.

the first one we have a small scale 60 footer at our fair it is scary i wonder how they get realistic people on the rides that is cool
