Also I noticed a few items you wanted to salvage got missed like the lights and vanity. Smart move would be to get a barcode scanning system and software. When you do the walkaround print out barcodes and stick them to the pieces you want to keep. Take photos at the same time. Have the guys scan the barcodes as the items get loaded on the van and set the software to check the items off on an app on the site leads phone or tablet so you can be sure everything that is meant to be salvaged gets salvaged. Will cost probably up to $1000 to set up initially BUT you will recoup that by not having as much stuff get missed or broken. The stuff lost on this job the vanity and lights would have paid for the system or near as. Every job thereafter it would just be profit.
Glad to see someone else repurposing the stuff that's good quality and costs a fortune today, was doing kitchen and bathroom tear outs in the Palos Verde,R.P.V.& P.V.E. area and surrounding areas and seen where even shipping crates used to make cabinets and those old tubs an 18 lb. sledge between four of barely chipped the porcelain and took it out in one piece and it's cast date was from early '58 and forgot the weight, this is my second show of yours and may have earned a new subscriber, gotta watch one more.
I was last in FMB in Feb of 23. I’m so glad to see how much you’re salvaging. My mom’s house on the Estero estuary (shadow wood preserve) and the stuff that gets thrown away is criminal - even just for the inevitable remodel. She had just finished remodeling (of course) before the storm and bought all new furniture. I drove down from Wisconsin in August to get beautiful furniture she didn’t want - thank god I saved it. The amount of waste that’s generated by all of these temporary older residents is astounding - without a hurricane. It seriously makes me happy how you’re explaining about why certain things are unsalvageable.
I tore houses down by hand years ago and everything was sold to be reused to build new homes . We picked the old homes that were built with real 2 x4's and other size wood . Quite a few were built with square nails . Solid doors and really cool hardware , awesome bathrooms and kitchens . Really solid windows that worked great with weights and ropes that were great sellers that people reused . We always either sold material on site that people picked up each day or what didn't sell that day we would haul home . If we didn't haul the stuff home it wouldn't be there the next morning . We hauled very little stuff home as people would be lined up wanting to buy and would be a lot of help in the tear down process . Actual stuff hauled to a dump site was very little and our dump site was fill in on a mans property that he needed filled in and we didn't have to pay to dump .
This is the way it should be done! There was so much reusable material and things like doors and windows in this house. But instead of properly removing them and sending them on to someone else who could use them they just destroyed them and ended their effective life span. So fucking wasteful, all in the name of MAX PROFITS BRO.
Great job! It was fascinating to watch the process. There were some beautiful materials in that house. It is sad for me to see anything demolished but your attention to recycling and reselling is admirable. I am sure that it pleased the Sample family to see the respect that you gave their old home. Thank you.
Pretty cool watching you all! Hercules should be makeing a list while walking with you! That way you would have gotten that green cabinet, the bathroom sconces and the knob.

Someone told me recently that Allstate and State Farm entirely left the state of Florida for homeowners insurance. In Germany we often get this furniture for free, you just have to pick it up yourself. I'm always shocked at the prices in the US.That's why many houses survived the bombs of World War II in Germany
My kitchen cabinets came out of a demo house 15 years ago and are gorgeous their was a cabinet makers sticker with a serial number which my wife called and gave them the serial number and they gave all the info of location customer name and was $27.000
@@removeitprosdemolitionpre 1980 drywall is very likely to have it and it’s almost always in the mud. Lead paint is very likely in homes pre 1980 but often it’s under layers of non lead put on later. Guys should be wearing protection.
Hello Sir, I am not trying to be nosy but just curious why the owner like to demo this expensive beautiful house? Is it just they want to start all new or the house is unlivable..? Thank u for ur time.
I think $22 million is way too much for a tear down on the water, even in Naples. But obviously someone didn't care about deflating their piggy bank(s)! I think a lot of the tropical plants and trees could have been of value but understand time versus money. Amazing method of demolition here. Sad but the view and water remains for the next mansion standing. I'm sure it's got to be bigger and better than any others on the street, that seems to be the trend for the wealthy.
@@removeitprosdemolition somebody has to hual away construction debris from new construction builds, same for house flips. Buying the truck is the hard part. Roll off dumpsters don't cost that much.
My heart sank to the Floor when i saw those beautiful palm trees 🌴 being uprooted and destroyed, isn’t there a way to get them out in one piece & sell those to to people looking for palmtrees to put in their garden?? So sad 😢
The guy or crew responsible for possibly knocking off the wall oven knob & not making sure to check the house & inventory the items removed to be resold later, I “DON’T” believe the fact that that happened was something that should ever happen. But there’s at least 1 way to keep this from happening. Anything that has knobs, levers, any easily removable hardware, anything that’s too easy to remove &/or lose/ break/ damage, etc., that should all be removed so those items don’t get “LOST” & put those items in a ZIP-LOCK BAG & put the bag inside of the appliance, cabinet, etc. or if the easily lost or broken items need to be specially packed then so be it. At least those items will be retained for the next buyer/user without the need for a search for replacements. Something else to keep in mind is all items that are removed as “COMPLETE” are sort of in a category of their own. If the item is COMPLETE & interested buyers can see that, I believe that’s a selling point. Buy it & not have to do the legwork to find broken, damaged or missing parts. Maybe there could or should be a bonus to the crew &/or crew head for all items brought back(of the items that would have knobs or whatever-nothing missing)to the resale shop as COMPLETE. Maybe it might seem like a waste of time. Just a thought!!
We all make mistakes, thermodor lost knob, etc. watching the newest video, boss got caught building a b&b in basement w/o fema issue permit, SO we all screw up.
You're right..they do. We don't have then facilities or set up to bring the trees back. Great idea though. Where are you from? Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
You know the house actually did very good in the hurricane. It had so much wood construction. It took it very well. Unfortunately, that house where it's sitting is just not worth much as a house. That lot is worth so much that somebody wanted to build a mansion there.
you should give habitat for humanity a week to salvage all they want before teardown. It would not cost you a penny and you would help thousands of people.

We have over 100 in stock. www.removeitpros.com
So you sell things from the property. Does the property owner get any of the money? Don't know how it works, just wondering.
We give them a discount....
You should invest in another demo machine in case one breaks down. That way there is minimal down time. Also hire a good mechanic...
We have three
I sure hope that you guys may have taken those personal items and pictures in the garage and gave them back to the previous owner.😊👍🙏
Yes sir we did.
In Germany we often get this furniture for free, you just have to pick it up yourself. I'm always shocked at the prices in the US.That's why many houses survived the bombs of World War II in Germany
How does that work?
Have at least 1 new guy each job, that way, you can blame the new guy! 😆
New guys that don't listen are expensive on a excavator....
Miles of Romex!
The squatters were illegally removing it.
@@removeitprosdemolition All that Romex would have brought a pretty good price at the scrap yard.
TEAC and SONY boxes in the attic, so somebody had a stereo system at one time.
Empty we get stereo systems frequently, sell on eBay or www.Reuseitpros.com
My kitchen cabinets came out of a demo house 15 years ago and are gorgeous their was a cabinet makers sticker with a serial number which my wife called and gave them the serial number and they gave all the info of location customer name and was $27.000
How fun.....we take perfectly good cabinets and appliances out everyday!!! Did you get appliances too?
In the UK all that stud work and wooden beams would be worth a fortune.
Do you have companies that broker that stuff?
That condenser and air handling unit you’ll be lucky to get 400 bucks for both of those🤷♂️
It all adds up. New scrap video coming very soon.
2ton AC dealer price is less than $2000 fyi
Installed, just had two installed they out of their mind here, everything costs so much. $8000 each 3 ton.
You should pull all shrubbery and try to resell it
Time and space. That's what i need more of.
I bet you run into a ton of lead and asbestos. My house has it. Are you required to test for that as I did not see any precautions for the guys
In residential they don't do much with it here.
The lot is worth twenty two million dollars. They're building a mansion
Did previous owner regret selling the house after watching the demolition?
I am not sure.
3 New Jersey
😊
Damn I could have used them sliding doors dam
Www.reuseitpros.com
We have tons of sliding doors. Hurricane impact rated doors.
You guys need to buy a sifter for the concrete Dump a bucket of concrete on it dirt goes through it concrete goes off the side of it.
I am pretty sure we got two sifter buckets it helps a bunch.
And it was kind of sad to see that green cabinet crushed should have been taken out before demolition.😊
Yeah we missed that....joe;(
Just get a new 3D printed new knob. Not a big deal easy to do and low cost.
Really sounds cool!!
@itprosdemolition Happy to help and make suggestions. Wish you the best of success in your business and enjoying the content.
@@hogwild5844 Thank you!!
I'm sure it's got to be bigger and better than any others on the street, that seems to be the trend for the wealthy.
here here!!
You should look into starting a roll off business, you already have the truck to haul them
Our trucks are moving non stop. Is there money in that business, seems like margins would be low. Can only do so many a day.
So sad 😢
Yeah, we actually had somebody come out and look at them about moving them and it just didn't work out.
Ooops...wrong house!!
Thanks for watching.I'll take all that stuff into account.
You need to sell those palm trees!
We tried no takers.
We all make mistakes, thermodor lost knob, etc. watching the newest video, boss got caught building a b&b in basement w/o fema issue permit, SO we all screw up.
I own it!!
was that Betty White's house it sure looks like it
Maybe is was a standard plan they sold back then, like a sears house.
The three gorges damn in China will fail, like many building there, they used beach sand
Really beach sand is a no- no?
I can't believe you couldn't get a buyer for those palm trees. People pay stupid amounts of money for trees that size at the nursery
You're right..they do. We don't have then facilities or set up to bring the trees back. Great idea though. Where are you from? Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching!
$10,000 extra profit? That'll help pay for the monthly insurance on a few of your big trucks and machines.
It all helps this is our slow season.
Well I guess that house not hurricane proof
You know the house actually did very good in the hurricane. It had so much wood construction. It took it very well. Unfortunately, that house where it's sitting is just not worth much as a house. That lot is worth so much that somebody wanted to build a mansion there.

you should give habitat for humanity a week to salvage all they want before teardown. It would not cost you a penny and you would help thousands of people.

Yes he has Praise God!!
AINT THAT DEAN MARTIN OLD CRIB BEFORE HE DIED
Might have been. People are very secretive in that area.
It is sad to see perfectly good things and plants getting destroyed, a least you save what you can
Yes it is!!
