When will you be offering your services in Houston Texas? I'd appreciate it if you could reply to this comment once y'all expand your services to Houston as well. I may have a property in mind that y'all may be interested to help me flip.
If I lived in Austin I would totally buy this house! The black kitchen is STUNNING! I would’ve personally closed off the formal dining room and turned it into an office but that’s a personal choice for the buyer. And the green tile in the master bath plus having a ledge that holds more than three bath products is amazing!
Your client, Michael, seemed really cool. I would love to work with you guys whenever I have enough to invest. I think the home will appeal to a younger crowd and those who like modern design. Great job! I look forward to to the upcoming home renovations for owners.
I'm always surprised when you paint homes in Texas in a dark color. It's super hot there, and with global warming, it's just going to get hotter in the coming years. I can understand that dark colors might be trendy, but I would definitely not buy a dark colored house in a hot climate. Also, some day, I'd love to see you add solar panels to the roofs of your reno homes. Gotta take advantage of that Texas sunshine, and also, I know Texas has experienced a lot of electricity outages in recent years. I would think Texas buyers would love it if their homes had some solar power to rely on.
That was a lot of work for a 33-something thousand dollar profit - which might have to be split between the investor and the Austin Flipper/Homemade teams - but maybe my expectations are off
It seems like that but it comes to 3000 passive money a week. Even if it’s half this is the very definition of letting your money make money. Also in 10 weeks the investor has invested like 3 mortgage payments.
Really like the redesign of kitchen, bath and closet. Also, the light oak accents. Not a fan of painted brick or the black cabinets! I know you were going for a modern look, but I would rip them out and put some high quality wood cabinets in. Overall very nice job!
When first going through the house, i was thinking about that exact layout change to the master bath. In most homes I prefer a bit of color, so the pop of green in there giving a call to the green exterior was nice. The black kitchen nicely reflects and ties in the fireplace so neither become visually overwhelming. The new pantry cabinet adds nice symmetry to the fridge location. My only other thought would be to consider closing that front dining and making it a 4th bedroom/office by using French glass double doors for entry. It could have brought the potential resale up a bit I think. But that depends on the comps for cost versus return.
That one is a stunner! Amazing staging too. I think the only thing I would have done differently is having a contrasting tile and fireplace wall color and/or a higher-end tile for the fireplace.
That house is the EXACT same floor plan as the house I am currently renting in North Austin, even down to the deep windowsills in the breakfast nook/living room! I thought it was my house for a second 😂
I like the light colors on the front of the house. Even before they picked a some what darker paint color, the light colored door and window treatments make what had been rather cave-like in to an inviting entry. And when I first saw that CRAZY master-bath... WOW! What did the original builder think he was doing? I'd be afraid my clothes would get moldy in the humidity of the bathroom because sliding doors like those don't keep the steam out. Thanks for the save on the new home owners!
Overall this looks good. However, the kitchen is giving off an RV kitchen vibe. Plus I'm not sure about the black, it will show the dirt very easily. I think you tend to go for looks at the expense of functionality.
What if, instead of defacing items for demo, you save them and donate them to Habitat ReStore or somewhere similar? Then someone else gets low-cost building supplies and the landfills catch a break. I really enjoy this program and others like it, but I cringe when perfectly good items are casually disposed of.
I like the inside but not the outside. There's too many contrasting colors and too many competing vertical lines with the pillars and contrasting window trim. Also wondering about landscaping? Does that get done before it goes on the market?
Loved all your improvements except one: the breakfast room fixture. Just a bit too far out for my taste. Great colors. Some viewers commented on the color of the brick, but I think it looks fab! Kudos!
It seems like only online do ppl hate painted brick cuz all owner build new homes are painting their brick and everyone’s buying homes with painted brick
Beautiful result. So much talking at the beginning though while showing Mike through the house....and so fast....were you nervous or something? I appreciated that you asked Mike's opinion but give the guy a chance to say something in between.
I think the black kitchen is little bit too much. I would have painted it in the same green color as the exterior just to tie it in with the theme. Overall great transformation. Love the layout change of the master bath to accommodate a walk-in closet.
They made this beautiful house ugly and actually think people will want to pay more for it.. Why why do they always do this and the door they took away was so beautiful! Modern is so ugly..

Paint8ng of the brick was an unnecessary expense
I agree. Leave the brick alone or if you must change the color, either stain it or lime wash it white. Paint is so bad for brick.
Right. Simple pressure wash is sufficient.
Just another maintenance nightmare.
@@ninabooker2904 I don't know why these home reno shows default to that!
Liking the new intro most def,. You guys have sure come a long way since the beginning. Mad props!

The investors always look like they don’t want to be there. Maybe you should let them go after a intro
The black cabinets are startling but stunning.
I love the look but I’ve had dark cabinets and I live in Austin and we have big big roaches here and you can’t see them on black cabinets 😅

All those M83 moderns homes in Austin are painted black! Like why? It’s beautiful but not for Austin
That was a lot of work for a 33-something thousand dollar profit - which might have to be split between the investor and the Austin Flipper/Homemade teams - but maybe my expectations are off

Waterfall islands are going out of style if not already
Absolutely gorgeous result. Love the black fireplace and black kitchen. Green tile shower is wow.

Yard is a mess. Spend a little $$ on curb appeal
They barely made money as is 😅
Would like to know the price it sells for if they sell it.

I totally hate black cupboard doors in the kitchen - but you go ahead, your call.
Just listed our 2nd house in California and looking 2 buy another in sandieago appreciate your guys knowledge
That house is the EXACT same floor plan as the house I am currently renting in North Austin, even down to the deep windowsills in the breakfast nook/living room! I thought it was my house for a second 😂
The plain slab doors are giving me 70s vibes 😂
Great Job 👏👏👏👏👏. One question Where is the washer/ dryer?
I love the black cabinet! the contrast between them and the wall look stunning!
All that for a microwave??????
I actually loved the primary bathroom.
Can y’all use more adjectives besides NICE?! 😂 love you guys!
The before on the outside looked better yall should’ve kept the brick the same color
I love to watch all your videos...watching from Davao City Philippines..more power guys...😇😇😇😇
that green paint actually made the house look worse, wild!
I’m in the process of gathering ideas for my house project, your flips bring me a lot of inspiration!

The beginning of the vortex cgi looked very... human.

Love the finishes. I am missing a laundry??
LOVED this reno
This is my favorite ragebait channel
Tell me you're not interested without telling me you're not interested 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Great job! Honestly HATE floating vanities they feel too trendy and tacky to me!
Loved the island and the layout changes great job all around!

This turned out to be a lovely house
Primary shower and closet look tiny, yard is a mess. Why not finish staging with breakfast room table and island barstools??
Finally another video..yepeeey
I don't like it. Black is too personal. Who else is tired of the first thing you see when entering is a dining room. I would rearrange the layout.
Laurel likes her black and gray. It's to stark for me, the kitchen does not have warmth to it.
I agree. The cold, modern, open concept, grey walls everywhere moment is over.
Could not agree more!!
So many Wizard of Oz references in this one lol
I like the inside but not the outside. There's too many contrasting colors and too many competing vertical lines with the pillars and contrasting window trim. Also wondering about landscaping? Does that get done before it goes on the market?
Is there no way you could change it around to where the dining room wasnt right in your face when you walked in?
Loved all your improvements except one: the breakfast room fixture. Just a bit too far out for my taste. Great colors. Some viewers commented on the color of the brick, but I think it looks fab! Kudos!
Hi! I love your floors! Could you let me know which brand and color you used? I'm thinking about upgrading mine.
at least for me flipping dining and living room is better I guess
Does anyone else find that the video quality isn’t as it use to be. It’s very blurry especially the intro
It seems like only online do ppl hate painted brick cuz all owner build new homes are painting their brick and everyone’s buying homes with painted brick
Nice 👍
Looks great 👍
I used to live on North Loop.
I like everything but the outside color ❤
I would of converted the dining room to office
Some spaces that black is too dark
Beautiful result. So much talking at the beginning though while showing Mike through the house....and so fast....were you nervous or something? I appreciated that you asked Mike's opinion but give the guy a chance to say something in between.
What is the interior paint color name?
Modern-euro black….sigh. 😫 I don’t know why designers keep doing this. Grey is OUT. SO OUT.
You usually seem to do it in about 30 minutes, so 10 weeks should be plenty yea? 😂
Here in Houston, I've never seen a closet in a bathroom. I would've loved the new kitchen in the 80s. The yard still looks like crap.
TLC PRODUCTION QAULITY VIDEO❤❤❤
Lost the mirrors...
Slab home? This is a sour spot for me after experiencing sewerage problems!
I think the black kitchen is little bit too much. I would have painted it in the same green color as the exterior just to tie it in with the theme. Overall great transformation. Love the layout change of the master bath to accommodate a walk-in closet.
So someone from another country can buy a house in the US??
And land. Tons of Chinese millionaires hide their wealth in property all over the world.
@@ZippyLikesZippers 😳
Please, no more grey.
Not loving the black cabinets, hard to keep clean. Overall very nice flip.
I usually enjoy these, but this one felt really wasteful for some reason.
Black kitchen looks horrible.
It can be saved with white uppers
They made this beautiful house ugly and actually think people will want to pay more for it..
Why why do they always do this and the door they took away was so beautiful! Modern is so ugly..
Cookie cutter.
What even is this channel anymore? You're not just a general contractor? Who cares?
Excellent kitchen and primary bathroom layout changes.
