"you will die motionless aware of what is happening" that's the scariest part of it all, everyone who looked at the supernova was concious and had to feel their bodies slowly die of dehydration

The message near the end about living your life to the fullest is just beautiful and made me lose all fear of this scenario, so thank you for bringing calm back to me.
It’s also sort of a criticism of the “anti-conspiracy” culture we have for bashing skeptics no matter what reasoning they have. People who didn’t want to look at the sky in the first place were getting shit on because of how ridiculous the chance of something bad happening was perceived to be, and then even after they got proven right some people went to look at the sky anyway, likely out of pure inertia from the movement against the aforementioned conspiracy nuts who were *surely* wrong. I’m not an anti-vax or some shit, but the trend of putting down nearly all skeptic thinking with memes or insults is definitely something that could harm us in the future if something just as serious as this (but obviously more realistic; like a political event or something) was going to happen.
@@chefmcgarno I agree with you and all, but I don't think it is a criticism of "anti-conspiracy" at all, and if it were one in any form, then it would be a very terrible criticism indeed. Faraway supernovas should be extremely safe considering their extreme distances from Earth, and there is no good reason to suspect otherwise, so their doubt here is justified, even in-universe where that isn't true. It is just a plot device to start the story. but yeah I get it, the memes are already incredibly stale and the ad hominem attacks are basically pointless, yet the internet loves to keep doing the same thing over and over again. It is justified though, considering a lot of self proclaimed "skeptics" doubt for no good or logically sound reasons.
also, could you you imagine being in this situation? a normal EAS comes on "oh yeah its just a normal test heheh- OH HOLY F*CK WHY DID IT TURN RED" i would be terrified
not to be a wet blanket here, but a supernova that paralyzes anyone viewing it until they eventually starve or dehydrate to death is a lot more threatening than what's basically an uncurable cold for now.
Want to say first off that this was a great eas! The voice acting was amazing! Usually just hear the ones with the automated voices (ai voice) but having a side story so it's kind of more inclusive was nice too. Now for the second part. I have been looking for this eas I believe it was either a weather one or asteroids/meteor. All I can really remember is at the end it showed maps of countries and when the event happened it had multicoloring for each state/province hit and their living chance. If anyone can help me find it that would be awesome!

I wouldn't even be able to see it, weather always blocks the sky during astrological events.

Now for the second part. I have been looking for this eas I believe it was either a weather one or asteroids/meteor.
