great info here....thanks a ton for posting! just wondering, can't the cats be left alone? worried about removing the O2 sensors and it just looks like you don't need to touch them. thanks again

Thank you! It MIGHT be possible but honestly on such a new car the o2 sensors aren't an issue like they would be on an old car and loosening up the cats makes the install 10x easier.

Getting ready to buy this exhaust and 200 cell cats from you guys. When you reinstall the electronic stock actuators to the new exhaust valves, do you take out the stock valve springs and put them into the new exhaust valves before connecting the stock actuators? Thanks!

How did you get the 6mm v band in its oem position. The top of the bolt is facing up! PIA TO REACH

A flex socket adapter and a wobble extension I believe. Dang German engineers never thinking about the mechanic haha.

I used vice grips on the bottom of the vband bolt and they broke free easily.

I’m working on a new targa 992 and the drive mode is normal but the valvetronic system does not want to work, any idea why? I checked for codes and no codes were shown but still valves don’t open

Thank you so much for the post! Very informative. I have a question: Do you know if I have to remove the bumper for 992 Carrera S, or is it the same thing as 992 Turbo and Turbo S? I really want to avoid removing the bumper. Thanks

Thank you! The install will be very similar for a 992 Carrera, so you do not need to remove the bumper.

@@FabspeedMotorsportis that no CEL condition for the Akro cats? I know it’s not an issue for OEM cats.
