Wow, lucky catch! Similar to what I've heard happen at Blakedown, a couple of years ago, apparently, there were two people who walked off the platform *ON TO* the crossing *with the barriers DOWN.* I didn't see or catch this happening though because I wasn't there when that happened but that was what someone told me anyway. I remember seeing another incident like this at Cradley Heath - not usually an occurrence there to my perspective.
Thanks. There is a difference, however, and that is Grays has a footbridge right next to the crossing, but Blakedown doesn't. The incident you've described has happened before, with pedestrians running off the platform with the train passing BESIDE them. This is why this level crossing is going to be permanently closed soon.
Thanks. Since UK railway lines are protected by fencing and £1,000 fines given for trespassing, this is not very common. I can imagine otherwise in the US though.
UK Level Crossings Channel last week I seen the moana film but less than half an hour I raged because some scenes were too disturbing at the music's is horrendous
Didnt bother really (read description). These incidents happen frequently, quite possibly on a weekly basis so police and Network Rail have probably seen this already on multiple occasions.

Doesn't really surprise me seeing these 'chavs' in an area like this!
That's an embarrassing load for a 66
Great video! I can honestly say I've seen that quite a lot here in the US. Also, that's a short intermodal!

Great video, what yobs.
Thanks mate👍👍, lucky I caught this as I was just about to leave. There are plenty of these 'yobs' around the UK 😐😐
Same as here in the US. I made a video of all the idiots here.
Is this why it’s closing due to trespass incidents
Yeah, misuse and trespassing incidents - and the fact the local council want to improve accessibility on the high street with a new underpass
What a great catch there UK level crossings channel
Thanks :)
