I had 0 luck with brass punch on mine. I ended up ordering the tool. It was still a bear to get off and on. I think the 18 dollar tool for the removal was well worth it for this car.
I wasn't able to reconnect the hose to the new fuel pump. You have to push the hose until you hear the clip click. The hose won't stay connected to the fuel pump if the clip isn't engaged. I removed the clip and still couldn't push the hose far enough to where it needs to be. Am I missing something?

Do you know if the O-Ring and Lock Ring can be purchased separately? My pump is good, I have leak at the top. Thanks
Hammer swing may cause sparks in spite of brass punch. Best to use channel lock pliers to remove locking ring.
Congratulations for the video! Very didactic, step by step. My gratitude from Brazil. Keep up these videos! Awesome quality.

Thanks for the great video, this helped me change my fuel pump with no issues.
Suggest using wood rod or stick versus metal punch to eliminate risk of spark.
Thank you for the great tutorial video. It is going to be a huge help. This should be a very straightforward replacement. 👍🏻
Thanks for sharing this video very informative and helpful

There has to be a better way to remove the locking ring.

Its amazing how many videos skip the first step of draining the fuel line.
Why not vacuum the area before exposing the fuel tank instead of just blowing the debris around?
Never showed taking off the fuel line...
great video
