  • In the past, several banks offered loans for professional development to young pilots. These were mostly aimed at students following the Integrated Route to ATPL.
    After the financial crisis of 2007, most banks stopped such loans. Today, in most European countries, such offers no longer exist.

    Not to sound like a pessimist but huge chunk (not all) of youtuber pilots seem to have come from wealthy back rounds or already have existing family in the industry to help them out and it really comes off as fake and pretentious when they say "follow yoyr dreams and dont worry about the money" when they themselves never had to worry about it themselves.

    So sad that you have to pay so much money and there is no job guarantee. The biggest problem is that if you get your flight education from other countries you can’t work in other countries. That means if you will get your licenses in US you will be able to work only in US or if you get your from licenses Poland you will not be able to work in the UK.

    • @harrytibbs6313
      @harrytibbs6313 3 года назад +2

      If you get your license in Europe, you will obtain an easa atpl. You can convert this from an easa to caa atpl or work for a European airline with a UK base. So basically it’s a lot cheaper to get a license in Europe and convert it or just work in Europe (higher paying pilot jobs in Eu countries).
