    Gotta love that power steering whine. My lifted ranger does it my old f150 did it and both my buddys broncos do it.

    Man thats an awesome truck. I still have my 1994 f-150 at my moms in nova scotia. I have trashed my truck and rebuilt it a few times and the only original parts left is a welded and repaired frame and the axles.

    NICE DRIVING i love the mechanical noises of the old transmissions and shit idk why

  • @Mr390cid
    @Mr390cid 14 лет назад

    Yep its been a awesome truck. The cab is still original too. Complete new front rad support/hood/grille/bumper and fenders, a box from carolina and about 5 engines lol. Originally was a 300 six and then went to a built 351w, then a 1976 tired 351w, a built 302, and now a 302 fuelinj converted to carb. Its been in a tuff truck comp too and was my daily driver at the time. Its been sitting for 3 years with only one run in that time.

    Sweet now this is what I like to see! Might do the same thing tomorrow.. we have four inches and it's still snowin good..

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  12 лет назад

    No issues associated with the body lift, the truck had extended lines on it for the suspension lift.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    @Erhorn300 Nope, don't need one once you've unlocked the ignition. When you take the key out and turn the truck off you have to push a little tab right behind the key and turn the ignition backwards and it locks it, which means you need the key to unlock it. If you don't do that you don't need the key. I think this was somewhat common on the 95 models but I'm not sure, but it sure was convenient.

    thanks for the quick response, i'm thinking if i get it i might go for the 38.5" hawgs (they measure 38") and look into doing a 10.25 sterling or D60 swap from an f250 from a junkyard in the future a while after getting the tires. Thanks for the response!

    sweet truck man im taking my 92 f150 with a 4in lift to the canadian river this weekend for some mud boggin races should be fun

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    Suprisingly it handles quite niceley. On the highway it tracks real straight, unless theirs a wind. On more county roads that are rough though it does begin do wander when you hit the bumps. It's no worse than our stock 93 ranger though. Re-geared with the 4.56 it gets up to speed quite good.

    a manual f150 with a 351 and 4 wheel drive is my dream truck

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's the problem. I went under and checked the other day cause I heard another new noise up there (oh joy) and the u-joint is not quite as tight as it should be.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    It is a superlift 6" with the 3" body. As far as anything related to the lift, I have no problems besides very bad camber which seems to wear out my front right tire faster. The only complaint I have is turning radius, it sucks in parking lots and the high idle which I just cant seem to find the cause for (300RPM - 500RPM too high).

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    @Mr460FordBigBlock It's actually some camo duct tape put on by the po to cover the cracks in the dash lol.

    nice truck my dad has a 1984 f250 xlt its all rusted up but it starts right up needs a new floor board need like 5g+ to get it on the road

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    It's the stock bumper. But I'm going to assume you are wondering about the hooks? The hooks are in some thing that the previous owner welded into the front of the frame. If he hadn't done that I woulda bolted something in there instead, cause I don't fully trust welds for things like these.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  11 лет назад

    Loved it bumped the timing to I think 15* from the stock 10* REALLY woke it up.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    I got 6" suspension 3" body, with the flowmaster either 40 or 44 I forget, its the offroad series which is only one of them. THe camo interior is actually camo duct tape on the trim.

  • @123ewq

    nice video man, can't get enough!
    I just found a 88 f150 for sale near me (well kinda near me) with a 6in susp lift and 3 in body lift for 1000 in good running condition. Unfotunately it only has D44's which would probably have a little bit of trouble with the 40" ground hawgs i would put on it.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  14 лет назад

    I hear a lot of mixed reviews about putting big tires on them. So far I've had no issues and I'm pretty hard on her. I am running 3"-4" less tire that you want though.

    @urdadddy1 They worked pretty good on like dirt and decent in the mud and snow.

  • @nathan.mullin
    @nathan.mullin  13 лет назад

    @Bogger74 The truck had 4.56 gears in it. I'd figure the 302 stock gearing with 36in tires would be pretty underpowered and hard on the transmission, but I imagine the transmission would still last pretty long and that if you used low gears offroad when going slower it would get along good enough.
