Thank You for a Tour of this vintage Hamilton! Throughout my Career I have bought and sold several like this though I believe they were Primarily 10 karat or 14 karat Gold filled! I've had some gold models but that was when gold was worth much less but was still at a premium! I've been retired from buying and selling watches for a living for a while! Things have changed radically!
This is exactly the watch I have that belonged to my dad. Only difference is mine is on a rose gold metal band. Is it possible the band is original to the watch?

I have the same watch but in yellow gold, Bought it on Ebay for $20. Best purchase I've ever made.
