    Warriors are not giving the Heat Jonathan Kuminga in any trade for Butler. Even parting with a package that includes Wiggins, Schroder, Podziemski and Payton probably doesn’t make them appreciably better than they are now because Butler just isn’t that good anymore. And of course if he opts out and leaves then you’ve just given away all your assets for nothing. The Warriors are probably happy to let Jimmy and the Heat stew in this mess and not get involved.

    I went to the trade machine and even with Wiggins contract the Warriors have to move 4 players out to get Butler. The Heat don't have that roster space. That means a third party needs to get involved. That also means draft compensation. I think a Warriors deal is going to be really hard to pull off.

    • @berserkmonk5331
      @berserkmonk5331 17 дней назад +1

      Yeah it's really hard to pull this trade off mid season.
      To try and match up the salaries perfectly to where neither team takes back any amount of money is nearly impossible.
      Miami or GSW would have to first trade off a player to a team with cap space so they can buy that player out( which would involve someone giving up a 2nd pick) and then some trade scenarios can take place.
      Wiggins, buddy, gp2 and maybe Podz 😂

    So the team that trades for Butler is willing to bet he will not sabotage the team mid year. Like what he did with the Bulls, Wolves, Sixers, Heat. Like how many chances does this dude get. He is not going to change and this will turn badly to anyone who bets on Butler

  • @brittinfisher8102
    @brittinfisher8102 17 дней назад +1

    This is nuts! Miami really only has 2 options due to that horrid Butler’s contract. The Suns can only do Beal and Miami would rather eat Butler’s contract. The Warriors would be losing their second best player, Wiggins, their third in Kuminga (too much future) or a bunch with Green. If I am GS, no matter what, I want plenty of draft picks to relieve Miami if the very old Butler that has taken every team down in flames he has played for. Night-Night Curry if that happens!

      @ The Heat culture is real and a fat ass like Shaq couldn't handle it, plus he played for six teams...so there's that... The Heat wanted to get Shaq out asap. Forcing his way out of LA was a dumb move and Shaq has said as much. LeBron left for what I think were immature reasons at the time and I'm a Lakers and LeBron fan. Glad he won in Cleveland, though he left the Heat on bad terms. He at least could've let them sign and trade him, rather than leading Riley to believe he would stay for "not six, not seven, not eight..."
