He has a player option for his monster contract, and probably other players they need/want to re-sign. Plus more importantly. Witch contracts would you trade away to match his salary? SGA, or half of their current roster 😅
Houston could do the deal for Brooks, Adams and Holiday. Only Brooks is signed beyond this year - Adams is an expiring deal, and Holiday has a team option for 2025-26. This fulfills Miami's desire to not take on a lot of long-term salary and Brooks is good value at $21 million.
Filled with factual inaccuracies, but let's start with Golden State. 1. Dennis Schroder's expiring contract CAN be included. 2. A 5 for 2 deal is impractical since Warriors have no money available to fill slots 11-14. 3. Everybody knows this deal includes Wiggins' $27M, and Warriors value Kuminga much more highly than Wiggins
Chicago can try this year i think.. Some playoff spots are open in the east .. and they can give expiring Lonzo + young assets Patrick Williams and White/Giddey/Dosunmu
Surprised to see the Spurs were not one of the realistic contenders to go after Jimmy... seems like that have some pieces, the finances and incentive to bring a serious playoff piece to Wemby's roster in exchange for some expensive players (in Vassel and Keldon) who don't seem to be locks for the Spurs future....but who the Heat could see as some serious help for Bam and Herro...
As a Denver fan I do not want Jimmy at all. He brings nothing over MPJ. We already shoot the least amount of 3’s in the league and MPJ provides length and incredible spacing
I do not want Jimmy as a Rockets fan. We’ve drafted a heck of a young team and and have some fantastic role players. We’re growing and maturing into a future contender. To get him, we’ll have to mess up that core and toss his sometimes questionable attitude into this young impressionable team that will also get their touches taken away some. He’s subtracting by adding…..we’re good.
I don't see the Kings trading for Butler unless they just want the cap space and a lot of picks and pick swaps over the next 6 years or so. We know who the Heat would want. De'Aaron Fox. I am not sure how the money works. I know it likely moves Monk to PG, DeRozan to SG and then Butler and Murray as the Forwards. However, it means that Malik Monk isn't going to want to stay a King either. He will want to be gone and I think he would prefer to stay with Fox. Aside from Butler though, the Kings would have to insist on getting Tyler Herro. Herro and the picks are what they would want long term. Especially if Monk is moved as well. I am sure Fox, Monk and Bam would love to all be playing together in Miami. We know Pat Riley would never okay a trade of Bam to Sacramento to where Monk, Fox and Bam were together in Sacramento. If I am the Kings, I want Herro and the picks. Butler only because of the cap space this summer.
Taking on “long term money” over free agency signings is a silly take solely because the FA class is not great. Kyrie has a PO, Lebron isn’t leaving, BI will be available, do you want Randle, then Jimmy too. You could land a Fox or MPJ in a trade and come out better than free agency.
I just don’t see how Jimmy is worth more than like an okay starter and a couple 2nds. The dude is going on 36 years old, hasn’t played over 65 games in a season since his Chicago days, and clearly now has a bad attitude and is only in it for the money not winning.
KCP+Carter+Harris+1st round pick would be a great trade for Magic imo as all of those guys are currently underperforming but can easily become solid contributors in Spoelstra’s system. Orlando lacks offensive talent and playoff experience + they don’t rely on 3pt shot that much so Jimmy is a perfect fit.
"Orlando lacks offensive talent and playoff experience" Then you suggest trading players with loads of playoff experience including KCP? Not sure that translates to more playoff experience at all.
@ KCP has playoff experience as a key role player, Jimbo - as a star player who takes responsibility for difficult shots and iso plays when the team is struggling. That’s different.
Why would Houston trade for Jimmy Butler when we have a better version of Jimmy Butler who's younger, faster, more explosive and cheaper in Amin Thompson.
Any shot the Atlanta hawks make a call? Starting five of trae,Dyson,Jimmy,Jalen Johnson,Capela sounds interesting… feel like that defense on the wings could create real problems. Plus playoff/motivated jimmy paired with young could be dangerous.
Butler to DET makes the bost sense, to help Cade make the playoffs for the first time. DET can use Harris & Hardaway & Fentecchio contracts, and fave draft capital. I believe ATL could be a surprise destination, they have a lot o nice contracts to move. But Also what about Trae for Jimmy? Form mentioned MEM the best fit for Butler. 2nd best would be PHX, Iif someone would take Beal (and he agreed). DEN Nuggets the worst idea! MPJ > Butler, because of contract. SAC with Fox or DeRozan. Jimmy too old for HOU timeline, also they have to pay young players extensions. GSW need to use Wiggins.
Your facts are off. Schroeder actually could be aggregated in a trade again and, even if they only do bring in expiring contracts in a Butler trade, the Heat are unlikely to have cap space this upcoming summer and even if they do, it’ll be a very small amount and will actually operate as an over-the-cap team so they can access their full mid-level exception.
You know where he’s getting traded but you name like 6 possible destinations. Yeah man you should start telling people to unsubscribe and don’t hit the like button. Thats how I’m feeling right now
@@Wilcorankingbecause that is his primary leverage. i love him to be on the grizz... he can OG mentor ja to stay away from distraction and focus on bball
That makes sense, the current main distraction in the league mentoring? 😮
3:26 thing is Memphis is still really deep if they trade this for jimmy
He has a player option for his monster contract, and probably other players they need/want to re-sign.
Plus more importantly. Witch contracts would you trade away to match his salary? SGA, or half of their current roster 😅
@@konzza huh?
@user-en9rv6pp8t huh?
@@konzzaHe said Memphis not OKC. It doesn't make sense for OKC to trade for Butler he is not on their timeline.
Memphis or okc idk if could work money/trade wise but would be insane destination
When he said Anywhere Could Utah Put a Colllins & Sexton Kessler & a Pick.. It would give the depth at pg and give Bam help on the Inside
why would utah do that ?. jimmy will leave the team next year for a contender
Grizzlies make sense if the offer gets better. Sum of their young players and 2 1st round picks would get it done
Just letting you know that Zach LaVine for Jimmy Butler works straight up 😊
Surprised to see the Spurs were not one of the realistic contenders to go after Jimmy... seems like that have some pieces, the finances and incentive to bring a serious playoff piece to Wemby's roster in exchange for some expensive players (in Vassel and Keldon) who don't seem to be locks for the Spurs future....but who the Heat could see as some serious help for Bam and Herro...
Jimmy in Denver would be cray.
Unsubscribed, you’re a coward with your constant click baiting which I don’t respect at all.
Lakers Should go for Fox, 27, $32 mil over Butler, 35, $48 mil, and Injury Prone 🏀🏆
As a Denver fan I do not want Jimmy at all. He brings nothing over MPJ. We already shoot the least amount of 3’s in the league and MPJ provides length and incredible spacing
Warriors or suns is most likely it makes since
I do not want Jimmy as a Rockets fan.
Jimmy butlers analytics are still fantastic btw.
Taking on “long term money” over free agency signings is a silly take solely because the FA class is not great. Kyrie has a PO, Lebron isn’t leaving, BI will be available, do you want Randle, then Jimmy too. You could land a Fox or MPJ in a trade and come out better than free agency.
Oh, you still think Riley is going to trade him? 😂
It’ll be a three team trade unless they straight up trade another star to Miami
I just don’t see how Jimmy is worth more than like an okay starter and a couple 2nds. The dude is going on 36 years old, hasn’t played over 65 games in a season since his Chicago days, and clearly now has a bad attitude and is only in it for the money not winning.
It’s going to be a trade to the Spurs for a package centered around Keldon Johnson, just trust me 🤐
KCP+Carter+Harris+1st round pick would be a great trade for Magic imo as all of those guys are currently underperforming but can easily become solid contributors in Spoelstra’s system.
So the Hawks keep all their players... 🤔.. Fascinating concept
Miami has almost zero leverage. All proposals in this video are massive overpays now that the situation has unraveled as it has.
To all teams : Butler is not the player you are looking for.
You know where he’s getting traded but you name like 6 possible destinations. Yeah man you should start telling people to unsubscribe and don’t hit the like button. Thats how I’m feeling right now
I doubt Jimmy can destroy their season. Miami can just send him away from the team so he would only be able to what? Facetime his teammates?
Nobody wants to trade a lot for a 35 year old on an expiring contract
Brutal buddy.
Beal knows it ain’t working out in Phoenix. He gonna wave his NTC.
You say they could let him walk, they can't unless they also pay him his player option, which jimmy will opt into
Why would he opt into it if he wants to leave?
@@Wilcorankingbecause that is his primary leverage. He has 52.4 million reasons to opt in personally, but beyond that it makes things super awkward for Miami (and right out of the Butler "make things really awkward to get what you want" playbook. At the end of the day, this is about money.
If no suitors are on the table to pay Jimmy the money he is looking, best believe Jimmy is getting paid one way or another - including opting in.
I wouldn’t wanna go for jimmy butler idc how good he is if it means I have to trade a whole squad for him😂
Warriors the only team that can give the heat actual assets
no one wants to give butler an extension or pay him 52 mil next year
MPJ is playing too good to trade for Butler right now.
Why would Denver want this is beyond me. That just sounds like another injury prone, inconsistent money drain, but this one doesn't shoot threes and stuffs the paint, AND is a problematic character on top of that.
Jimmy's joy is 60m a season
I think pelicans for Zion is the right direction
Trade jimmy. Then send Bam to the hawks. Bam 27, a good rebuild would take 3 years and it would be fun to see him with Trae. In 3 years herro would be in his prime.
Which team in recent memory rebuilt in 3 years?
Send Bam when he just signed an extension.. 🤔.. Fascinating concept
It seems that you are ignoring his massive player option
I don't think you understand a lot those team's cap situations
Jimmy Butler for kuminga ,Wiggins, Payton and a 1st.
Sexton, Collins, Sensabaugh, Micah Potter, and 1 pick for Butler. Utah haha
