I think that’s the absolute least of this guy’s problems. His overall “likability” (or serious lack there of) is a huge disadvantage….along with the facts not being on Chad’s side, Chad’s personality (and again lack there of) his demeanour & overall “ick factor”, which is a real thing. Chad & his lawyer have the charisma & appeal of a wet cushion on a spring day.

It took 2 grown men to lift half of her back on to the bed but just the covers shifting caused half of her to fall off the bed from lying flat on her back as we know from "lipidity🤦🏽♀️."
Ya Idk why the state didn't bring that up somehow. If she was on the edge of the bed and alive, maybe. But dead weight? Not a chance. Especially if she was on her back like they said.
So basically Prior is saying everyone is lying and it's a big conspiracy against poor little baby Chad

Not wrong, although I wish there was video footage. I honestly wonder if he produced real tears. I wish the Prosecutor would ask one of these witnesses if they saw any.

What was Chad doing between the time he brutally strangled his wife of 30 years and the time he woke their son to assist him in moving the murdered mother/wife before calling 911? Pure evil.
I think he left the house and came back five hours later..His son Garth much like his other children seem very gullible to me..
I would have 100% trolled him as a witness on the stand if he asked if I'd testified about "lipidity."

Prior isn’t doing himself any favours in the eyes of the jury imo. He seems to be going with confusion versus facts
His condecending tone is so pompous and unlikeable. He over uses it and he should save his sass for really imperative points but instead he is rude even with the most mundane if things. Like saying a rude "Okayyy" after every question

The coroner's testimony was excruciatingly painful to watch. Was this her first time testifying in front of a judge and jury? She was terrible!

Well... she nearly said as much, didn't she? she doesn't conduct many autopsies because she doesn't have the budget, and she's the coroner of *fremont county, idaho.* I place the blame for that squarely on the state. where was the ME that conducted the autopsy?
Ya that was brutal. I don't think she's testified much. Also sounded very unqualified to be elected as a coroner at the time. But apparently you don't need much qualification to become one?
This is a small town/county that gets about 50 deaths per year and way fewer of them are murders, if any. Idaho has only 2.2 murders per 100,000 people in the entire state per year ( one of the lowest in the entire US), so I am not surprised that she was so wet behind the ears. It is her delivery that was so bad. Also considering that she made a BIG mistake on one of her first cases, well, I am sure she did not want to be there as well. Thankfully, she corrected her mistake after the body was autopsied. She is not the first coroner to have this happen.

Why doesn’t the prosecutor object to mischaracterization of evidence/testimony? Defense does this a lot…..ex in regards to TD saying airsoft gun/gun/rifle. Officer was very much correct when he stated she says gun and rifle later in the call. I’m sure the jury picked it up towards the end of the day when the call was played again during another witnesses testimony but ugh. Was this a tactic to make the defense attorney look sly? Seems like it should have been done with the initial witness after cross.
I was wondering why they didn't play it again on redirect of that witness and point it out. Missed opportunity to make the defense look like a liar IMO.
So she died on her back , found on her side and you dont do a autopsy.
It’s unnerving that an elected coroner makes the ultimate decision. She came across very unsure and not qualified.
It's pretty well known that elected coroner's aren't the best at their jobs. I still don't understand how some places have elections for something as serious as picking up dead people and writting a COD. it's just out dated and wrong imo

It's quite common in the states. It's insane how poorly run a lot of the systems are. Her saying budgets preclude a lot of autopsies. How many murders are missed because of the incompetence..
tell prior that his story about tammy dying and falling out of bed doesn't match what chad said. also ask him how a dead body on its back rolls itself out of bed?
If I were a juror I wouldn’t have been impressed at all with Priors attack on the Coroner. Prior had the perfect opportunity to make her look bad but I think she’s gonna get sympathy votes for being bullied by Prior. Maybe he wants Chad to be found guilty. Prior had ample opportunity to make her look really bad but I think they are gonna feel bad for the meekness of her testimony.

I'm sorry, as one who holds the opinion that the responsibility of coroner should never fall to anyone without a PA, NP, or better, the fact that she says that lividity proves how they died is just absolutely wrong. You could be murdered as you stood, hauled 50 miles and dumped in a ditch and the lividity would only show that as time went on, after death, the body remained in the same position for a length of time, in the ditch, as your vessels started leaking blood/fluid. It has zero bearing on how the person die, but how the person lay/rested after death.
The elected coroner situation is one of the tragic and ridiculous parts of the US legal system.

HA! She is too unstable to put on the stand. She threw a fit at Lori's trial about having to testify and ultimately they decided NOT to call her. Idk if she will be at this one but I doubt it. Remember: she was calling Chad and Lori "Mom and Dad" and she's just as nuts as they are.
It would be interesting though. 🤔 if she does. The defense hasn't even put on their case/witnesses yet but idk how MP would back them up knowing they killed her cousins. It's yet to be seen I guess

Too many breaks, long lunches, and early dismissal. Improper use of judicial resources - taxpayer $$ wasted. Judge needs to work a full day. All of his sidebars and prosecutor long pausing. Get on with it.

There's other court business that has to go on during the day, like hearings for other cases, phone calls, paperwork, etc. You won't see them in these live streams, but just because the lunch goes long or this particular case ends before 5pm each day doesn't mean the staff and judge aren't working. You've clearly never been to an actual court house.

So, she took Chad's word, for everything he told her. She did absolutely no investigation. So, basically she took a liar's word for what happened to the deceased. Shocking!
After watching this "coroner's" testamony, I am completely convinced that she epically failed at her testimony. This "coroner" is so incredibly unqualified and strange. How. How was she the coroner? It's mind boggling! Wow. Just, Wow!!

It's utterly disgusting how unqualified and bodering on simpleton level she truly is. A coroner should be atleast at a level of a medical assistant, but ideology it should be a medical doctor. Traveling to Vegas for a few training courses, doesn't make you a coroner. Unbelievable!!! This whole state is nuts.
