Thanks for reacting to Red Dead 2 again, it's always a good day when you upload. I also couldn't help but laugh at the flaming guy rowing his boat like crazy, like all he had to do to survive was roll to the side into the water.
I love that the phrase "Adding fuel to the fire" works here because the dude after getting flamed literally started rowing at like 10 Reps a Second, I don't think that's humanly possible to row 10:1 like that lmao
In the main story the protagonist actually goes to the Doctor when he is coughing and feeling light headed. After examination he is diagnosed with Tuburculosis and can only be prescribed with a coping medicine. It's 1899 so he has to survive until it kills him.
Someone told me once that the difference between a strangulation and a choke is strangling cuts off the air and choking cuts off blood to the brain. I don't know if that's true, but I do know I wouldn't want a rope around my neck while riding a stage coach. That and the knife to the groin looked exceptionally painful.
Not really sure there's much worth in trying to define a difference, except in methodology. Whether one uses their bare hands or a ligature device like a "garret" (wire, cord, or cloth) makes a fairly massive difference in efficacy. Most hand-holds are amateurish, and can take a full 5 minutes or more to render someone unconscious, let along dead... While the choice of ligature can narrow that to less than a minute of consciousness and death can even be relatively close, in spite of the usual "Rule of 3's" being "3 minutes without oxygen". This is because the use of a proper garret can induce shock symptoms and stack on unsurvivable issues... There ARE more effectively refined manual methods, mostly from martial arts, however... SO let's not get too sidetracked, BUT acknowledge that just because the majority of manual holds are amateurish and usually clumsy, it doesn't mean everyone who attempts to choke or strangle someone else out is necessarily ineffective for lacking a tool... ONLY that a tool offers a reliably effective means and advantage. ;o)
Choking is internal, like a piece of food blocking your airway that you can't swallow. Strangulation is external, like a rope or hands squeezing your neck. That's why the Heimlich maneuver is referred to as a life-saving measure if someone is "choking", as it dislodges the object in the throat blocking the airway by forcing it back up and out of the mouth. A simple way to remember is that choking is what happens when you eat too fast, strangulation is what happens when someone is angry enough to wrap their belt around your neck.
This channel is so good! I admit most "reaction" channels just seem kind of silly/pointless to me, but this one is so unique and entertaining. I feel like I could watch the good Doctor react to anything at this point lol
You can get some more episodes out of this. Maybe talking about the herbalist aspect, where you have to harvest and concoct potions to take for health, stamina, and somehow, speed and accuracy with a firearm. One talking about the in-game doctors. And of course some more gruesome injuries from the various weapons, like the shotgun, melee knife, and dynamite.
I love how Mr-Wagner pays attention to EVERYTHING! Even mentioning Red Dead Redemption 2 takes place in an older time period and knows antibiotics use were not a thing back then! The true professional!
If anyone is wondering why the guy lit on fire after getting shot, the gamer was using incendiary buckshot. It's a craftable type of ammunition in the game, among others.
These were mote hilarious to watch than anything. The one with the horse at the beginning had me dying, dude at that fence, and then the guy in the boat started paddling faster lol. I've nvr seen that one before.
Remember; if you're lit on fire while on a boat, row as fast as you can to extinguish the flames, don't mind the water that could easily extinguish it.
I love red dead. There is a lot more to see in the game other than just the injuries. You can see the doctors office in town or see how someone might run into trouble out in the wilderness out by themselves.
@@DoctorERbit late but with how the guy was moving the paddle, I think was because the fire was causing his animation to reset and when someone in a boat is harmed or shot at will try to row away, it caused it to bug out and never try to abandon the boat or properly row away.
Jordan talking about catching fire: "Typically, people who come to the emergency department are already put out" Me: "...what do you mean 'typically'?" O.O
I wasn't fussed on the first RDR but this looks like fun! A doctor reacting to game logic is always going to be fun even if I'm not a fan of that particular game.😁 Some of my favourite games with injuries to react to: Assassins Creed GTA 4 or 5 Saints Row (2 probably has the best injuries to react to) Tomb Raider (Survivor trilogy, especially the first one) Dead Rising Dead Island The latter 2 being zombie survival games there are plenty of injuries to react to.
Many people considers RDR2 to best game of all time including me. Ofc it comes to personal taste but atleast almost everybody agrees that its most realistic and detailed game there is. I hope u try it!!
in 1899 most injuries couse mayor infection and they didnt have that much to do about it so you littaly have a 90% change that they just remove your arm/leg
I love these! however, I think you should react to the more accurate deaths in the game (bleed outs, shooting limbs off, etc.), these clips are more like toying with npc's...
These clips are probably from the online version of Red Dead Redemption 2, because any of this while playing the story mode, but great video, can you do a video on the Last of Us
Great video but you missed a lot of stuff about how old timey medical care is portrayed in the game. How best you can hope for in case of tuberculosis is palliative care, how apothecaries sell snake oil and cocaine, and how when you get a guy with a bloody arm to a doctor he just gives the guy some morphine and saws the arm off right in front of you.
Hello Doctor, a recomendation of medical injuries is for Call of Duty, it has different moments and some of theme are incredible. Appart of the recommendation, congrats in doing your videos, i watch it in Spanish and English, and is funny in the two languages.
I personally think that it would be cool if you reacted to the very controversial Manhunt series but you will need to blur basically everything. But I think it has a lot of good medical related topics I would love to see you go over especially with a psychologist.

@@MarkCuckerberg666 yes Uncle has it, it’s very serious. It’s a slow and painful death
@@fransvankleef6989 just play the game and you'll find out
Basically it's a death sentence.
Some of the most gruesome injuries in RDR2 are definitely the dynamite blasts, and the shotgun blasts to the limbs.
and the neck shots, when they run around and bleed, and then fall to their death
