Yes it sure is, I wanted sisterlocs but I found out how much it cost. I started my own microlocs, I been locd for 3 years now and been doing my own retie. I just finished my retie….arms r killing me lol
I started microlocs myself. My arms are never tired, because I don't interlock. If I had to do all that, I wouldn't bother. I two strand twist the new growth and do one two-point interlock rotation at the meeting point and one at the root so it does not unravel. I don't necessarily do it all at once, just to whichever needs it.
Yes it's so much work. I started my own and maintain them but I've grown to love it.
