Well, I hate to have to put this in writing, but...you just confirmed in this video what my husband has been telling me. lol I hate it when he's right. I guess I need to slow my roll at the Dollar Tree. Ex: A 12" precut piece of wood for $1 sounds great to me, but you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a longer piece of wood that is actually cheaper by the foot and just cut it yourself or have them cut it for you. Thank you for sharing this, but I'm not telling my husband he was right. lol
Great tips. I've been a dollar store crafter long before they started to do a crafters section or decided to improve it lol. Here lately it has been for practice as I am new to cricut. I mainly been buying canvas panels, wood, and glass, coffee cups when I can find them. Have yet to buy anything from the website. Most DT do carry vinyl now but the quality is not the best. Maybe its me put it seems difficult to cut on washi as most have suggested so I just use the vinyl setting. As most I agree that their transfer tape sucks probably better to go with masking or duct tape.
I'm always looking things up on my phone like on Walmart or Amazon's website to compare prices while I'm at the dollar store. A lot of times it's more expensive at the dollar store.
i think the dollar store is a great store for the thrify.. i have not baught anything for my crafting but if the items that are being baught are not good for crafting coodoz to makers gonna learn.
Haha I am a dollar tree Queen more than 90% of everything in my house is from the dollar tree, from potholders, kitchen towels, picture frames, candles, hairbrushes, hair ties, makeup, EVERYTHING including the socks! Yes, there are a lot of things I won't buy at the dollar tree but more often than not I'm buying everything there including Beanies for my kids and grandkids, shirts, baby items, etc. so yeah I will make my products to sell using Dollar Store items and I will sell them because I would buy it myself. Matter of fact I just bought from the dollar stores website, a case of Satin Pillowcases, for sublimation printing! Tell me where else I can get 24 NICE Satin Pillowcases for $24 bucks :) Shipped to my local store - no shipping charge.
You don’t actually need to pay the cricut membership you can use the design space for free, your paying to use the files, you can find lots of free Svg’s or fonts for your projects, you can also purchase Svg’s single or in bundles or u can join makers gonna learn and have use of their lessons and access to all their files and fonts, definitely worth trying for a month then see what’s best for your use
@@joellenconigliaro6681 design bundles is a good place, I think they release a few free ones every Friday, the also do really good deals for like $1 for a bundle etc, and craft house svg, have some cute things also

It really depends. It can be hard to find decent wood at home depot. I usually have to spend a long time looking over every piece.
