China need to build everything huge due to its population, but keeping infrastructures well maintained in the next decades depends on whether the government care about its people or not, because both building them and maintaining them cost tons of financial budgets.
The Aus government is working at snail pace. Too much red tape for property development, causing unnecessary involvement of outside specialists thus increasing the cost of development and construction.
Then not enough security measures where it’s needed most, consistent construction code, standardised development codes, consumer protection through having one agency responsible governance, make builders use trust accounts that are regularly audited.

Another brilliant video. We were in Guangzhou last month, but went to the other station, from Zhuhai. We caught the train at Guangzhou East, to later take the train to Shenzhen. Wish we'd seen the new amazing structure. China is now world experts in completing massive projects.
Gz East is one of Guangzhou's older stations, and yes, China are indeed world experts in building infrastructure.

Some fascinating examples are the Shanghai Tower, the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, the Beijing International Airport, the Hong Kong to Zuhai bridge and the Guandong Baiyun Station which you just mentioned.
The beauty of Chinese architecture lies in its strength, balance, symmetry, decoration, and practical function. These elements create a world that encapsulates the values and aesthetics of China.
My country does not have high speed trains, subways or any type of metro system at all. It only has locomotive trains for transporting sugarcane from one location to another. These trains run so slow, with speeds of less than 20 km/h. Even a chicken can easily outrun these trains.
I hope China will build a metro system in my country to ease traffic congestion, especially in the big cities of my country

Being British , HS2 is embarrassing. We are building a line to Manchester about 220km long and 12 years later we still haven’t got to Manchester yet.
