  • People Warned Me NOT To Visit Rural China 🇨🇳
I have been to several cities in China, and now it's time to go to rural China. So, what's rural China going to be like? People told me I might not have a good time in the Chinese countryside as people might be rude, won't speak any English and it might even be dangerous there for foreigners. I also heard a lot of negative things about Rural China from western media so I want to see it with my own eyes and find out the truth about rural China. Join us!

    • @yjw3734

No, this is a rural area. This rural area retains many old buildings, so the government helps transform the rural area into a tourist spot to let people feel the local architectural culture! This can also help farmers to increase their income, many rural areas because of the Second World War and other reasons to build concrete houses instead of this kind of old buildings.

I am thoroughly disappointed in USA's leading the Western World into trashing China. Countries around the world need to now think about the interests of their own Citizens and forget supporting USA's interests. We are no longer living in the 20th Century where countries need USA's Mafia Style Protection and paying them billions in protection fees. They need to keep the billions of their Tax Payers dollars that they're paying USA and instead, spend it on their own people (their Tax Payers).

On the contrary, they are part of the first group of people to get rich in China. They are from the eastern coastal areas of China. Before China became the world's factory, they traveled all over China with sewing machines. Two or three years later, they returned to their hometowns, demolished old houses and built their own villas. And they also accumulated their first pot of gold in this way. Now the eastern coastal areas are the richest regions in China.

I just came back from China very recently. Went to Lijiang, Dali and Kunming. They have beautiful views. There are McDonald's, Starbucks or KFC in pretty much all Chinese cities/towns. There's a nice Chinese tea franchise/shop called Chagee. Almost everything is cheaper in China compared to in Western countries. The only 'downside' of rural places is the public toilets are usually squatting toilets. A lot of people smoking too. Otherwise the air is usually clean in small cities/towns. I also like their modern cities such as Shanghai. The metro/ subway system is impressive. Modern hotels are very nice too.

@jimr8378 ....Too Much Freedom. Here in the U.S. Criminals can commit crime and get away with it. Weirdo rainbow cults can indoctrinate children and get away with it. If a society has too much freedom it becomes chaos and without order, is chaos. America NEEDS ORDER. Don't get me started about the entitled Karens and Tik Tokers in America antagonizing the public for views for their video. Here in America are too entitled, lazy and egotistical. America needs order and discipline.

What freedom? Isn't it just the "freedom" defined by the US itself? Every country has taboos and rules. US thinks that what can be said and done in the US should also be the same in other countries, otherwise it is not "free"; What cannot be said or done in the US should also be regarded as taboos in other countries, otherwiset this is not "civilized".
Isn't this the logic of robbers and bandits?

Jason: "If this was America, I would be robbed by homeless three times by now, shot for misgendering a person, drugged and waking up in a bathtub full of ice, missing a kidney."
"Here in China, everybody is rich and earns like 20K buck per month. There are no homeless people, because everybody gets a free house from the government. Friendly chinese old couple invited me to stay in their villa to stay while I'm visiting, but I gratefully had to say no, since every five star hotel costs like 10 cent per night. Old chinese couple was sad and insisted I would atleast take their taste traditional chinese food they prepared only for me. Took a hike in the mountains and saw a wild panda. He let me pet him and even allowed me to ride him. We became best friends. I named him BaoBao. On my last day of my vacation, Xi Jinping in person came to my hotel to make sure everything was alright and asked if I was missing anything. Xi cares so much about his people. Then Xi gave me a piggy back ride to the airport. China is beautiful."
    "Meanwhile, in America..."
