Shenzhen is a sprawling metropolis so it can get a bit expensive to live. Have you considered move to a second or third tier city nearby, such asn Zhongshan or Zhuhai?
India will take over. You cannot put down the Indians: very competitive, they have the caste system to discriminate between the superior & inferior peoples, & the Sikhs, Muslims, Tamils, all competing to be better than the Hindus. Long live India. Oh my goodness.

Really great! I visit Shenzhen last month. Watch the weekend night light show in city center. It is really fantastic! I wish I can watch the drones light show in future. That is cool and spectacular!

Another classic Barrett video. We were in that area a couple of weeks ago, Zhuhai, Macao, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. I can see why you enjoy living in Shenzhen. We stayed in the Guomao area and visited nearby by Dongmen Pedestrian sector, plus a day bus tour on one of the 4 city bus tours. I preferred the old village we stopped at called Nantou, where we spent a couple of hours. Pity we didn't get round to spending some time around the Ferris wheel area, but we only had 3 nights. I enjoy the brand new sky scraper areas as much as the ancient sites.
Shenzhen is such a large city, it's impossible to see it all in 3 days. I've lived here for years and there are still places I've not been to yet!

Yes, subway and high speed trains are modern and efficient and the country is kinda safe. People are mostly nice (at least much more polite and respectful than our common wumao Chinese on RUclips), food is great, scenery is amazing and there is a lot to discover.
Otherwise, China is not what it claims to be. It (the govt) wants to represent itself as something which is not and is unnecessarily hostile towards other countries.
Actualky you're right. Watching these propaganda videos is like watching a car accident: not nice to look at, but you just can't help it and you watch it again. The algorythm brought me here. Please forgive me I could barely access RUclips when I was living in China.

There's no doubt there are some low-end manufacturers had moved out of China and more to come in the future due to the raise of geopolitics and labor costs being expensive in China. However, the supply chain is way too strong in China for States and her alliances to break up at this moment. It will take couple decades for others to even start up new supply chain less guarantee to be successful.

I just watched an US financial debate program. It is about whether India would replace China to become the world manufacturing hub soon. One of the investment advisers believes India still got way to catch up China, because “China has far better, actually the best logistic structure in the world”.

All the great infrastructures built during this period will have a useful ‘life span’. A lot of money will be needed to replace them once they reach their life span. So, money must be set aside for the replacement needs. Must learn from the US - it has little or no money to replace ‘aged’ infrastructures built century ago!

$7 billion (Wikipedia says $4.83) is a bargain comparing to the $6.4 billion cost of the eastern span of the San Francisco bay bridge. The eastern span is only 1/14's the length and it took about 12 years to build vs the 7 years China will take. No competition!

That doesn’t mean there isn’t a market for laser etched. You may very well have luck marketing them to buyers, but it won’t likely be the high end custom keyboard enthusiasts.
