  • While RUclips's development team continues to investigate what on earth happened with my first upload of this video, I finally received approval to upload a duplicate copy and see what happens. This is that copy. Fingers crossed that it works, because I'm really looking forward to sharing this one with you.
(For reference, this incident-length installment should be just about 1:03:05 in length. It should not be a minute-and-a-half long. Get some popcorn, do your laundry, whatever - get comfortable.)
Enjoy, folks! And I appreciate your patience and understanding while this was all being worked out.
The original description, which will eventually be the only description:
There was something specific I promised you when I started this channel: access to behind-the-scenes conversations that you don't otherwise get to hear. Not because they don't happen, but because they get redacted from the recordings that get released publicly.
What do you think a full hour of non-muted, never-shut-off, body cam footage sounds like? What get said when officers discuss cases among themselves, forgetting or ignoring their cameras?
This video provides one answer to that question, and the call itself is even interesting! Please note: I have personally muted a number of sections to protect the privacy interests of individuals and involved juveniles who are not in public areas; same deal with the blurring.
Good luck guessing how old that woman is :P
    Cheers, friends.
    -RWP
*FYI - I didn't initially upload another copy because RUclips sees duplicate uploads as spam, and the bot that detects such things would have had no idea that there was something wrong on RUclips's end that necessitated my re-upload. That's the reason I wasn't uploading another copy until support explicitly gave me the thumbs up to try it, and even then only after I explained my concern to them for the millionth time. Approval received. Here we go!

Also keep in mind the Orlando PD, they should be recognized for their professionalism. While it is a nice place, Orlando can be a trying and challenging place to police.

Kids don’t usually go around with FTP shirts and spray paint cans tagging everything. Kids LOVE helping and being part of something good and helpful. My favorite job was at an apartment complex, I worked as a Resident Coordinator in an affordable housing property. I loved all of my fellow residents, helped find resources like free medical, food pantries etc. but creating events for the KIDS was hands down the most fun. Turns out kids really thrive when you talk to them as equals. “My” kids even held a fund raiser for a classmate fighting cancer. Sadly the adults in the complex did not support the car wash, so initially we only raised $42 in 6 hours of blazing heat and 101°f. But these 2 brothers(10,12) rode their bikes to the first intersection, no signs etc. and told people to come get a free car wash. No kidding, 2 hours later we had raised $215
I was so proud that I’m getting misty eyed just thinking about it.

dolphins blu kids that have good attitudes around cops are that way because those cops are decent people. Unfortunately that’s not true everywhere. Growing up I thought cops were the good guys. As a kid the ones I met were good cops. I got older, started driving and started seeing the greater world. Since then (I’m 52 now) I’ve learned good cops and agencies are in the minority. That’s just life in America sadly.

@@TampaJohn exactly. Whether kids have a positive attitude towards LEO’s or a negative one, it was their parents who gave it to them.. not the police. It’s a sad state of affairs, but these parents are doing it right.

@@lokithegodofmischief4090 I don't doubt you have videos of good cop interactions.
There are some great officers and agencies, but the bad actors vastly outnumber them. In my state, for example, California, we have two of the worst in the nation, LAPD and LASD. Then, we have the California Highway Patrol (CHP), one of the best.
Even within one community, you can have one serving the community at its best and another a horrific agency. One such city is Berkeley. They have an excellent city police force, but the university officers maintain a terrible service record. Sacramento, too; the sheriff does a great job, and city cops are thugs.
That's just how it is. The average person should never look at a cop as a “good guy” just out of self-preservation because the odds are not in your favor.
I'm speaking as someone with relationships with LE from the city to the federal level.

Cant imagine what you would want cops to do if they know a murderers in the house, leave? Let him go and kill another person. Essentially the same thing as letting a lady who just burned clothes and stabbed or attempted to stab someone go. For all the officers know she could be mentally ill with a knife, and not making that entry could result in her harming someone else. Once its confirmed shes in there, every god damn right to bash that door down and drag her out by the hair for all i care. As long as shes not able to harm anyone else.

    • @micfail2
      @micfail2 5 лет назад +17

It is absolutely not rare to find, the vast majority of cops are good at what they do and are good people. The reason that some people have the opposite perception is due to the fact that the media is constantly chasing ratings, and what gives them the best ratings are negative stories. That's why we always hear stories about cops doing something wrong and almost never hear about them doing the right thing, on top of that oftentimes it turns out once the evidence is released that the cops didn't do anything wrong but the media doesn't bother reporting that because the news cycle has moved on so all anyone ever hears about is the initial reporting that paints them in a bad light before all of the information is available. Perfect example would be Eric Garner, his hands weren't up he did not try to surrender and he was trying to murder the cop after having just committed an armed robbery according to all of the evidence, but most people don't know that because that isn't the kind of story that sells commercials and newspapers.
