Four years after his tragic passing, we'll pay tribute to George Floyd, reflecting on his impact and the ongoing fight for police and criminal justice reform. Philonise Floyd, George Floyd's brother, will share his perspective on his brother's legacy.

I think these guests are spot on with their conclusions. Dr. Cleo with his assessment of complacency, Matt with his assessment of the CRT boogeyman and the self-interest of perceived "allies", and Michael with his assessment of applying economic pressure and the end game. Great interview with the woman discussing religion. My children went to Christian schools up until high school and I always made it a point to know what my children were being taught, because I learned very quickly that rhe people in these schools masquerade as Christians, but their talk does not match their walk.
We learned very quickly in our children's early formative years that we needed to on the @$$es of these administrators and teachers like white on rice. Quite honestly, it was only when we were involved with a Jewish pre-school and a black Christian school that we felt our children were the most safe and in environments where they were cared for in the same kind of way we cared for them.
We have had experienced with a male principal who was also the pastor of the church connected to the school, who only wanted to deal with fathers and had an attitude that women should be seen and not heard. I noticed the women and their daughters affiliated with this church always wore long skirts and didn't wear makeup.
He tried to tell me my son needed to be medicated because he was so "active," after being in a room with him for less than 30 minutes, but when I challenged him about where he went to medical school, he felt a need to reach out to my husband to relitigate his intent and explain the "misunderstanding".
As parents, we think we are doing the best and right thing for our children by putting them in environments where we think learning will be the primary objective, but it can o$ten have a long-term effect on their emotional and mental well-being.
