Black farmers in Alabama and across the nation say they are owed more than $2 billion from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

Black famers won a 2 billion lawsuit with the USDA for discrimination against. It was a joint agreement between the two. Black famers in July of 2024, beginning to receive funds to operate their farms. This suit, I believe started in 1965.
