I still have a book with this story, in that version, there is no sister, however in another book, I've read that the younger sister got married to a man who appreciated wits more than beauty, so, both princesses got married.
This was such a fun read! I love your gentle voice with these fantastical tales! I don't know if you consider requests, but the first spooky tale that ever interested me was "The Cask of Amontillado" and I was wondering if you'd consider doing a read of it? It's a common one, but I get such great spooks when remembering how much I enjoyed it back in highschool! It may also get a lot of traction, since it's still in some English textbooks and students may look for a read of it here on RUclips 😌👌
Once again i found a childhood tale in your channel! My mother used to read Riquet The Ugly (as our version was called) to me from a tiny fairytale collection book she got from my granpa back in the 70s. When hearing it again, it sounds kinda silly, especially when “ugly” riquet is just a boy with a funny moustache, freckles and a weird hairstyle in the book’s illustrations or the amazing fairytale logic of balancing wits with ugliness and vice-versa Thank you so much to bringing these stories with such a calming voice, it is really comforting 💕
Moral of the story: Only beautiful people are lovable.... Apparently? Boy, fairytales have such weird takes on things. At least in Beauty and the Beast, she learns to love him despite looking like a beast. (and to be honest, Disney's Beast looked hotter as a beast than a prince anyway)

I’m laying in bed and was about to sleep and this just came out so it’s perfect.
