Oh that was my favourite fairytale growing up! Just a few differences from what I know: - The singing bird was his soul and the princes kept it in a charge therefore preventing him from leaving - Their child also turned into a lion by day - It was her sisters fault, that he completely turned into a bird, because they wanted to see what he looked like
I also remember a version, I don't remember exactly what it happened but it wasn't as confusing or chaotic. Maybe it was just the same thing as The Well at the End of the World or those stories which are just Eros' and Psique's story copied and pasted but with that dove in there.
Awesome narration as always! When people in fairytales have a walnut shell, it always holds way more than expected for them. By that logic, I think I'd like to receive a coconut shell as a celestial gift. Imagine what might come outta that! This was a fun thought prompt 🙂
The people who wind up making these deals need to send a letter to their household insisting that they need to be greeted by an animal first or something...
This whole story sounds as if the original storyteller couldn't remember any of the stories correctly, talked/wrote themselves into a corner and pulled some hapazard explanations out of the hat.
I was tempted to get some hot coco to watch this but I knew my stomach would disagree. The fairytale will be enjoyable either way though. Edit: when I said I won't get some coco, I lied. No regrets, except for my stomach, but still a good story🖤🖤🖤

Based on all of the information gasps, it sounds like the original telling of the story became fragmented and somethings were lost in translation.
I love your content so much 😭😭😭🖤🖤🖤 thank you for making it!! And I love your animation (I’m also an artist and it inspires me!)
Great!. - I've noticed people in fairy tales carn't do much without being turned into an animal.

I know this story as the singing, springing lark.

Happy Thanksgiving.
This was interesting only thing missing was a unicorn perfect story
For my celestial gift, I would hope for a living creature. A rabbit! Yeh, definitely a rabbit, or maybe a mouse so I could carry it in my pocket.
This is the fairytale equivalent of a six year old's debut novel LOL
great job :)
Sun would give me a piece of moon rock which i can trade to the moon with a mirror that tells only the truth
A seed.

Hummm…maybe a smooth blue stone would be given to me. I love these fairy tales when the wife had to chase her lover!
I would want the dress from the coffin .
So what you’re saying is he’s a lion on the streets and a man in the sheets?
Witty Joseph 😂
Will a dragon pop out of the egg that the moon gave to the lady 😅
Isn't Lilly and the lion?
( only 6 minutes in) Could you imagine sleeping with a lion in your bed and having a hot husband in the day? Awesome
