Hi Susan, I have been a long time admirer of your work. You get better every year. Question, Do you have the colors that Christina used on the Beaute Galleria stylus. I don’t have the color or size. I can’t seem to figure it out. Everyone seems to have a different size. You I feel I can trust with any question. Thank you to my favorite teacher. 😊
@@dianaclang2190 the colours she added to those tools I don’t remember as I just had to measure mine and it didn’t totally make sense. I think the website measurement was slightly off. My best advice is to …either. Have an XS,S,M, L , XL tool XS - 0.5 mm S - 1 mm M- 1.5 mm L- 2 mm XL -2.5 -3 mm I used a measuring stick and also an electronic calibrator just to double check my sizes. My new videos I’ll just say the mm size. Easier as everyone has different tools. Once you have been dotting for a while you will figure out pretty quickly what tool makes the size dot you want. Also remember just adding more or less paint can make a bigger or smaller dot.
Very pretty!! Thanks for the tip on using Glad Press and Seal on your paint palette. What a great idea! Like you, I try to prevent paint from going down the drain. Sometimes I use the plastic lids from milk/juice cartons to house the paints while I work. I then place the lids containing the paint--and a damp sponge--into a plastic, pie shaped, takeout container, which generally keeps the paint from drying out and I can use them for a couple of days. After I'm through with the lids, I toss them in the trash. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and creativity!
Thanks for this tutorial. I’ve been practicing making petals so they don’t look lopsided!! Watching you is so helpful. I love listening to you mulling things over out loud.
Merci beaucoup pour ce tutoriel pas à pas partagé avec générosité Il aborde toutes les problématiques que peut rencontrer une personne qui débute comme moi 🥰
This was the best and most informative and helpful video I’ve ever watched! You have a beautiful voice and I love the explanation of every tool and paints. Thank you so much from a true beginner!
I’m a beginner, in fact I haven’t started yet and the supplies are on their way! I found your tutorial really helpful in how to place the dots evenly, thank you. I live in the UK so my supplies have had to come from amazon and Etsy ❤
Always a pleasure to follow along with your tutorials Susan they are beautiful and inspirational! Good to see you back and hope your surgery was successful and that all is well with you. Take care and as always stay safe! Darlene
Hi! What a beautiful mandala! I am really enjoying watching your videos. So relaxing. Where do you get the velour circles that you put on the stone when you’re finished?
Thank you Kim! I ordered sheets from AliExpress and cut into the shapes I need. You can search also for felt with adhesive. Michaels in CA used to have them but no longer sell. That is why I looked at other options. The seller on AliExpress didn’t package very well and many of the sheets were crumpled at the edge. So I won’t recommend them.
Hi! It’s right at the beginning what I use. 3.7 inch moulded stone. I also have the link if you want to make your own 😊 This project can be made on any size by increasing or decreasing your tool sizes.
Here is my PayPal if you wish to send me a thanks. Not required but always appreciated ❤

So pretty and very helpful. Thank you.
I use zip lock sandwich bags when I am using the narrow paint trays. They work great. I buy the inexpensive bags.
Thank you so much for helping us beginners! I certainly appreciate it!
Oh your most welcome! I remember the struggle 🥰
Thank you for this post, I appreciate the detailed explanation…..now I need to measure and label my stylist tools.
Most manufactures have a list of their tool sizes in mm.
Thanks so much and hope you have fun with dotting 🥰

Wonderful dot along video, Susan what brand of pouring medium did you use please?
Thank you. It’s Liquitex pouring medium
How do you clean up the chalk marks after you’re
done?
Just a damp cloth. I use one that I would clean glasses with , no lint .
Hola, donde se puede comprar esa plantilla inicial, no encuentro ni en Amazon. Gracias ☺️
Hi! The templates are from The Happy Dotting Company. They have a web page as well and also on Etsy.
Gracias . 😘🙏🌹🌹
Hello. Is this miss Susan that did the journey of the soul video with Ras Ian Nathaniel Dawkins and Sam zink?
Hi, you have the wrong Susan.
Which size rock are you painting on?
Hi!
It’s right at the beginning what I use. 3.7 inch moulded stone. I also have the link if you want to make your own 😊
This project can be made on any size by increasing or decreasing your tool sizes.
I have various molds from Happy Dotting Co. Is this from mold #3?
Too long, but thank you.
Yes real time videos can be. There is a drop down you can change to increase the speed. The reality is that painting mandalas does take time.
