Wow Julieann here This is absolutely beautiful and I would very much like to thank you for such inspiration. I will be giving this art form a try and inviting my daughter to join me. 💕
I have seen so many dotting art work, and tutorials, but never seen gorgeous like this before, and so far your instructions are best of best and very meticulous
Thank you so much! I hope to make some more soon. I took a bit of a break , and now starting to restock for summer markets. Do you like canvases or stones?
Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece... I did my best to recreate this for a friend. I will certainly give credit to my inspiration, BTW, I did it on a terracotta plate. I use these for lots of my mandala art pieces.
Oh, thank you! When I saw this image I thought it was one of the most beautiful mandalas I have ever seen ♥️ I am so glad you decided to make a tutorial for us. I am off to try to find paint colours to start this one today. I don’t have them all so I’ll have to be creative, lol. We certainly appreciate the time and effort you put into creating this tutorials for us 🥰
This creation is just beautiful. I am continually amazed at how elegant your artwork is, and I thank you dearly for your instructions and closeups! One day I hope to make you proud :)
Beautiful! Thank you for a great tutorial. Great explanation of your tools, paint, vision, and process. I especially appreciate the quiet background (no music or unnecessary talking).❣
Merci infiniment pour ce très beau tutoriel. Merci pour vos conseils très précieux 🙏 Votre œuvre est magnifique. Un vrai bijou ! Je vais très vite le faire 🥰🌸
@@SusanNelsonCreations haha I get that. Videos take forever to render and upload on RUclips. Well I better get started lol wouldn't want to disappoint 🤣🤣
This design is absolutely stunning 😍. Those colors are 🔥🔥🔥🔥. I will be doing this as soon as I'm done reorganizing my work center. Once again Sue thank you so much for your fantastic tutorials. I hope all is well 💜💜💜
This is absolutely lovely! Thank you so much for the tutorial and sharing your art. :) I love the colors, I love the design, I love everything about this mandala!
Just found your channel, I live in BC and really appreciate the CDN content for finding supplies. Thank you. Regarding speed, if you don’t include music, which is fine by me, we are able to speed up or slow down your speed to suit our personal preference. If it is easier for you to share at a faster speed, for me that works out just fine. Appreciate your efforts, and LOVE your work. Beautiful.
I have not seen any crack. I have moved a few with no issue. Acrylic paint does have a lot of flexibility . I use good quality paints too. Some cheaper dollar store brands don’t have a lot of true pigment (lots of water ) and might crack. Arteza paint for example has a very plastic type finish and therefore flexible :) Hope that helps
Both good questions. I do have a tutorial on paint consistency. But it should not leave a little peek. I have been dot painting since 2017. Lots of practice and you will get there .

Thank you! Would you please tell me what the purple/pink tool is that you show early in the video when you are showing the tools you used? That one is not in the links you provided and I’m not sure what it’s called. I see many dotters using it and I’d like to try one, but can’t figure out what it’s called or even where I could get one. Being a sticker do the more plump dots not crack when peeling the sticker off and placing it on whatever you want it on ?

Can you give grade exclamations on your stuff? I was wondering if maybe you can do a video showing how you do the art resin
I meant great and not grade
@@christiewoods7565 hi, I am not entirely understanding on what your asking. I do have a resin video in my list.
Beautiful work! Could I use Liquitex black Gesso on a vinyl record?
I have not done one yet but I don’t see why not .
Love this tutorial. Where can you get that 3 pack of metal tools you said you use one to stir your paint?
If it’s the little set with crystals on the end I put a link to AliExpress in the video description. Hopefully you can find it :)
How long did it take you to be proficient at consistly nice dots?
Also, how can you tell if your paint is the right consistency?
Both good questions. I do have a tutorial on paint consistency. But it should not leave a little peek.
I have been dot painting since 2017. Lots of practice and you will get there .
Awesome! Thank you
Absolutely beautiful! Susan, the link for the flexible canvas is missing. I would like to try some of them.
Oh I’ll try again as I did put it in . Thx for letting me know .
It’s there now. Thx again :)
When you do you 2nd round of tapers on a petal, do you space the dots based on the place, ent of the first set of dots...eg, off center or centered
Thanks for the question. No I just taper down not worrying about the previous row. I think the first couple will line up only for symmetry .
Where do you buy your white dotting tools ?. Thank you from Kerrie
I usually put a link in the video description . They are on Etsy
DIY Mandala Stone.

Qtip cleanup... are you using water?
I use a cloth from my glass case with water. It has no lint and cleans well. I do use QTIps for cleaning mistakes just not my grid lines
