Trying to understand this as much as I can after the excitement I have for the new Space Marine 2 game coming out, this feels like watching a movie where some simple human has a chance to gain all knowledge of the galaxy and immediately being destroyed because no one person should carry all of that information. there is actually an old explanation about from where orcs come from, they was maded by the old ones, as Krorks to fight Nercons. The Krork is 12 meters tall, and was wearing mega-armor that rivaled Astartes power armor in terms of sophistication, and each of them, as Aeldari had psychic powers, wich is still present in Orks, in their unknow power of believe.
So we actually do know where the orcs come from they come from the krocks made by the old ones to help defeat the necrons the krocks are bigger and more intelligent knowing how to use there warp power of thought however when the necrons fled to there tomb worlds they struggled to find worthy opponents and devolved into orcs

There was a bit of a time hopping in the video. Essentially, Warhammer 40k is set in the year 40,000. At this point, the Emperor is seen as a God Emperor, though he's basically a corpse on a throne (at least physically). The Imperium of Man is a mess and a shadow of its former glory, mostly relying on tech which was developed thousands of years prior. It worships the Emperor as a God Emperor. The Emperor was alive and thriving in the 30th millennium, around the time he revealed himself. At that time, the Emperor forbade humanity from worshipping him as a God. Part of the Emperor's mission was to restore humanity to the technological peak it experienced around the year 20,000. 10k years before the Emperor showed up. Essentially, the Emperor wasn't known to mankind until 30k. Then the Horus Heresy happened. 10k years pass and we're in the setting of Warhammer 40k.
