One wrong statement is there not that easy to make or assemble. I’ve watched videos on them years ago and I know a lot about regular guns. To incorporate plastics and extreme heat knowing how to use a milling machine and 3d printer can be tricky. if I’m not mistaken 3d printed guns have been banned for awhile.
the entry point to manufacturing ghost guns via 3d printing is quite high. first, one must acquire the skills of 3D CAD - proficiently. but even before 3D CAD, something even more fundamental must be understood - ballistics and mechanical engineering - and this here is the most difficult as it actually requires math skills. so most skip the engineering part and just use 3D CAD and 3D Scanners and do some minor modifications to the 3D model - and this here is where it can get dangerous because of lack of knowledge in engineering. one slight miscalculation in terms of material fatigue and energy release and a ghost gun can literally explode in the user's hands upon firing or prematurely failing after only a couple shots fired.

I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT SOME PEOPLE STILL DON'T REALIZE THAT ALL THAT GUN LAWS EVER DO IS MAKE IT HARDER FOR HONEST PEOPLE TO BE SAFE---- NOT CRIMINALS!!!!
So we should have no gun laws 😅 that's pretty crazy.
@@ArtSmosh1274what words on paper stop man’s will?
@ArtSmosh1274 SO YOU THINK THAT THE ONLY PEOPLE THAT SHOULD HAVE GUNS IN THIS COUNTRY SHOULD BE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, THE MILITARY, AND CRIMINALS....???? THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING!!! CRIMINALS ARE ALWAYS ABLE TO OBTAIN GUNS----- USUALLY VERY EASILY!!!! THAT HAS BEEN PROVEN A DIME A DOZEN TIMES!!!!
@@ArtSmosh1274 DISARMING AN ENTIRE GROUP OF PEOPLE BECAUSE A FEW MISUSE GUNS MAKES EXACTLY AS MUCH SENSE AS TAKING MOTOR VEHICLES AWAY FROM EVERYONE IN THIS COUNTRY BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE CHOOSE TO DRIVE WHILE INTOXICATED!!!!
@@Censortubesthen what should we do
You guys don't even try to be neutral here eh?
how many times has a traced gun led to a criminal conviction ?
It's kind of arbitrary that the lower receiver became what defines the gun. I would say that the barrel is more important. It has stricter heat tolerance requirements and I would assume that it has to be from a very good quality metal; I am not sure if 3d printing it meets those requirements.
36:25 theyre not the only ones. Regular dudes like me are not playing when it comes to any of our rights. We will not back down or give up. Ans yal depending on cops and military, but the reality is most of them are on our side.
Do you know how to use a gun safely?
Freedom sounds infectious
Defense distributors remember that name. Crime isn’t ever going to stop happening on earth …all you can do is stop it happening to you
My first 2 guns were "ghost" guns: a machined 10/22 and a polymer 80 9mm. I am legally allowed to have firearms, but yeah of course criminals exploit this as well
Ban all guns and you STILL wouldn't solve this problem. People can still manufacture fairly easy. Unless you also start regulating who can buy manufacturing equipment.
We love and respect what you do Cody -Your fellow crypto anarchist
Mariana to the Mexican Cartel : "hey do you mind putting that gun down, its making me a little nervous"
Cartel : *puts gun down* "yeah no problem! for sure!"
they said, no worries girly.
OMG, this could be a huge problem for the entire world
This same government said switchblades are illegal to own. Meanwhile you can go to the dollar store and buy a huge kitchen knife. Makes perfect sense.
No such thing as a ghost gun, Only a privately manufactured firearm
25:20 possible identifying information that can be narrowed down to a few places. Don't go back there Mariana Van Zeller.
A criminal does not care if it’s 3d printed or a original Glock they don’t care about the laws
I am a European the same thing is happening here there are multiple gangs who have 3D printed guns in their possession even though we have stricter laws on guns and all that it doesn't stop the criminals it's just stops the normal person from having a gun and protecting themselves from criminals like right now there is a criminal on the loose right now where I live he has killed two people with a shotgun because he thought they called the police on him currently there are military police and special and terrorist units hunting him it's been more than 12 days and people are terrified they cannot do anything about it but the locked in their house and pray that he doesn't come in and shoot them
One wrong statement is there not that easy to make or assemble. I’ve watched videos on them years ago and I know a lot about regular guns. To incorporate plastics and extreme heat knowing how to use a milling machine and 3d printer can be tricky. if I’m not mistaken 3d printed guns have been banned for awhile.
This could’ve or was one of the easiest gun trafficking cases😭😭😭
Cody Wilson for president
the entry point to manufacturing ghost guns via 3d printing is quite high.
first, one must acquire the skills of 3D CAD - proficiently.
but even before 3D CAD, something even more fundamental must be understood - ballistics and mechanical engineering - and this here is the most difficult as it actually requires math skills.
so most skip the engineering part and just use 3D CAD and 3D Scanners and do some minor modifications to the 3D model - and this here is where it can get dangerous because of lack of knowledge in engineering.
one slight miscalculation in terms of material fatigue and energy release and a ghost gun can literally explode in the user's hands upon firing or prematurely failing after only a couple shots fired.
