I have done LSD many, many times, and it opened a gateway to my thinking in ways that I never saw before and made me realize the full creative potential that I had within myself already. Acid, mescaline, blotter, mushrooms, from 1972 to about a decade later I would trip often many times a week, it's not for everybody, most people who have bad trips often bring up on themselves with hyperventilating, freaking themselves out before they even get off, you have have to stay calm, especially the with the initial effects, a lot of misinformation about it, exaggerations, embellishments. I'd buy some if I could find it, I think it could be very beneficial for many ailments, in micro doses.
A very simplistic view of bad trips. I had a bad trip suddenly about halfway through the dosage, my thoughts becoming more and more grim. I was not hyperventilating but I did feel I had to get up and go for a walk which made it a little better. Then when I got back to my friend's house, I went to the bedroom I was staying in and got into bed. The overall negative/darkly tinged theme was a proverbial hot iron which felt like my neurons were being pressed and fried and I just had to sit there mentally frying! This left me physically exhausted and emotionally drained as the sun came up. It was not brought on at all by fear I was expecting an awesome time like I had many times before, but then it just hit me.

Sure.. 40% of mj prices 4 taxes.
@b.bailey8244 Bro it literally costs me like a dollar to get high (though I almost exclusively stick to edibles and have a low tolerance). The only thing that's expensive about it is the food I buy to satisfy the munchies.
Favorite “drug” hands down. Never had a “bad trip” ever and always feel enlightened afterwards. I wish this was legal!
O it can happen but its easy to get back to the good trip. Not like the media portray it with people jumping out windows and other lies. A sudden change in your environment while tripping and being pulled swiftly back from a trip can trigger them but just get up and leave that room to another area usually helps. My favourite way was going from indoors to outdoors for a while helped me
Same. I've always always always had an amazing, divine godlike trip on LSD. Mushrooms have given me some iffy trips sometimes, but acid has always been good. When it's real acid that is. Hence why it should be legal and treated with respect.
100 %.
It WAS legal in Oregon until early this year! Still only a misdemeanor.
Well done for covering the theraputic side of things. Also well done for those spinning her a loop in trying to find a chemist. An invertigative reporter who is terrified of drugs = NARC. They knew it.
What I experienced is insignificant. My hopes and wishes are for Matt, the Veteran. May he continue to improve and release the negative force(s) which impacted his life.
by far one of the best episodes Mariana i love it, im user myself after a life changing accident at a age of 15 where i broke my back and could no longer run. and was told id be in a wheelchair. Acid help accept and be at peace with what had happen and what my new life would be. took the suicidal thoughts away.
"You're putting something in your body that you don't know how it's made. You don't know what the dose is..." TBH that sounds like most of the food we eat in the U.S.
All the food…..
Big facts
Yeah the guy mentioned zero reasons to not take acid. Everything risk he mentioned is negatable pretty easily.
And pharmaceuticals.
The food is poison

Those who try it know for an indisputable fact that its existence is a much-needed benefit to humanity and to hear someone haughtily tell you of the evils or immoralities of it sounds like someone very seriously peering over their glasses and telling you that a tree is made of sausage. Just bonkers pointless and stupid to hear.
They were made illegal because they allow you to connect to your spirit and it takes you on a wonderful journey that helps you through all kinds of trauma or depression. They allow you to see things for what they are truly are.
A movement that is based on questioning the Status quo and asking "why?" About the Most Basic functions in our society was a big thread for the conservative, war Driven, capitalistic united States Back then. Shutting it down was a logical Sound decision from the eyes of the Establishment

I agree. Given the harm some dru*s do, like ice etc, this should be at the discretion of the user or at least prescribed legally.

I never had problems with depression, anxiety or ptsd when I was still able to get it. There's a big difference since I haven't had that eye opening, feeling of pure hope and happiness. It definitely is therapeutic and it's not that strong I don't think, I think what's more important is the environment you're in and that your with people you feel safe with. Personally I used to go to raves & after hour clubs on it but some people can't handle that & that's ok. Whatever floats your boat 😊
Its not that strong? Clearly you didnt get good stuff or you never experimented with higher doses. People who say they have done a lot of acid but only take 1/2 or 1 hit have no idea.
Was clear how this guy used it already from the first half of the comment
Watching this made me emotional. It was the mushrooms that changed my life.
Thank you for spreading light on some of these medicines. They really can be life changing if thats what the user is in need of. I'm surprised nobody mentioned it but these things (when taken properly) give you what you need, not what you want.
Mush love Mariana, I appreciate you my friend!🍄🙏✌❤
I like how everything the retired DEA agent mentioned, is a direct result of it being illegal. None of those problems would be a worry if they were legal and regulated.

Greatest experiences I’ve had were on psychedelics, love them
Not everyone is the same, I know people who it ruined their lives and some died thinking they were invincible
It's like a tool. You don't go up or down. You just go. Everyone saying that lsd cured them actually cured themselves. Acid is great, but you decide what happens. Bad things happen when you decide badly or don't know how to decide/act because you don't have any information or safe place to do it, only fear and shame.
I have done LSD many, many times, and it opened a gateway to my thinking in ways that I never saw before and made me realize the full creative potential that I had within myself already. I will just say this; if everyone was taking LSD, we would see a radically transformed creative reality, and the art, music, film that we have in today's world would look radically more original and unique than it does now.
No mention of Owsley Stanley, Sandoz Labs, the abuse by Intelligence agencies, not one psychiatrist or behavior therapist...but lots of law enforcement. Just as each person's psyche is different so will their psychedelic experience. This is not necessarily a party drug.
In order to change the way one acts one has to change the way one thinks.

I remember spacing out the events as it wouldn't come on without a brain rest.
Always stay in control, I think this is in your sub conscious

Mushrooms are a poor substitute for LSD, tho. Different chemicals, different vibe. Less predictable, too; easier too foul up the dosing.
