We're lucky we do get some good photos from some people. The blurry photos can be scams. They can also simply be due to improper equipment.

I’m curious National Geographic treats these kind of issues. There’s a self-publishing book called “Alien Interview” and I read it last year. As a fictional novel, it was intriguing. It contains the contents of classified texts recorded by a woman in the U.S. military during an interview with an alien which had rescued by a UFO crash at Roswell.
I was extremely sceptical until I left my friends one evening to see another friend across the road, and when returning found myself looking at a flying saucer hovering above my head around 20 feet. No sound, just as everyone else describes them. As soon as I thought to myself “I better get someone else or I’ll never be believed” it shot off at unimaginable speed. Backwards then to the left and out of the atmosphere into space. When I arrived back to my friend she said “I was just about to come looking for you it’s been and hour and a half where have you been !!” In my head I was gone 15 minutes. I have over 40 years of both military and civilian flying experience, mostly at night under NVGs. One night I observed several lights at high altitude in a loose staggered formation. These were long before Starlink was ever thought of, and weren’t conventional aircraft because there was no anti-collision or position lighting, but were self-illuminated. By the speed and altitude along, it was clearly nothing conventional. Needless to say, and for the sake of my FAA certification, I kept it to myself
I never mentioned about when I saw my first satellite in the sky in 1978, but decided that I was not very educated about what satellites were capable of, when I clearly saw it make a 90° turn x3 over the next 30 seconds...
I'm in Dutchess County, we and our neighboring counties were THE hotspot in the mid-80's. Whitley Strieber "Communion" was based on his experience living twenty-five miles north to us, the Westchester "boomerangs" were about fourty miles south. We have about 20 acres just south of Poughkeepsie in the woods. My father and I saw somthing around 2003. We watched what looked like a single "light" or perhaps just a bright circular shape, hover in the same spot for about a minute and then shoot of diagonally at incredible speed and disappear out of site. Neighbors have seen things as well, what I guess you could call "dancing lights" almost like they are playing tag with each other, often separating from each other and coming together in pairs or groups of three. They dont photograph that well, they arent cool saucers or large metallic spheres, just lights that move in super bizarre, almost living ways. I dont think the UAPs in the Hudson Valley peaked and then stopped. I just dont think "mysterious lights" are headline grabbers anymore, especially when compared the recent intense mikitary footage. I dont pretend to know what they are, but I believe they are supernatural in some way.

Because social media is so reliable, huh? If you get your news from a source that doesn't even have their own investigative crew on the ground, there's a few words for that. "Fxcking gullible moron"
i really enjoyed this deep dive into the world of UFOs, Nat Geo always brings intriguing content. however, i can't help but wonder if some of these so-called "close encounters" are just overhyped stories or even government cover-ups. it seems like the more we investigate, the less solid evidence we actually find. what do you all think?
It means the Government has authorized a "What we want the Public to Think" and "a Condition the Public on the Subject" (to avoid Cognitive Dissonance) It is a change in Policy, for certain.
I too am a witness to the star people coming here . They left a message in the sky in michigan 1997. they looked like my avatar and I made a recreation video of what they did. Attention to these living beings and their messages is important if we are to learn more about them and advance our peoples knowledge of reality .
UFO topic is too important to ignore. Many witnesses have come forward on the subject of ufo, whether from the goverment or the pentagon, who have high clerance served their country faithfully their entire careers. The fact that something is disrupting the airspace of the entire world, flying over important strategic nuclear bases and our military, interfire with our nucler siles, and pentagon does nothing about it and tries to ridicule and cover up the subject is absolutely beyond my comprehension. I can't understand how this subject is so overlooked and ridiculed when nuclear weapons are involved. It puts the whole world at risk when we already know, for example from the Malmstrom Incident, that ufos can deactivate or activate our nuclear weapons. Its crazzy
Many people think they talk to god too so should we believe people on topics like this? Humans are highly flawed creatures and often do see and hear things.
Tho I've witnessed a UFO/ UAP and was interviewed by OSI , I believe the narrative they are presenting to the public is a play for a larger budget for the D.O.D & Defense Contractors.
The only thing that hinders our mighty abilities militarily is the very obvious fact... The UAP technology is so far and away superior to our own technology....All the advanced and lethal hardware the nations possess can do nothing... What happened??? Our # 1 problem with this approaching disaster for the human race is very simple...Self interest and corruption ... It's just a matter of time before the ax falls on our exposed necks....☠️👽☠️
Some people DO talk to God, And He DOES talk back to them!!! Just because you've never experienced it, doesn't mean it isn't true!!! People were created in the image & likeness of God. But when Adam & Eve sinned, they died spiritually (meaning they were separated from God, i.e. God's Spirit & glory departed from inside their spirits). People who accept Jesus Christ as Savior & make Him the Lord of their lives are Born Again, meaning God's Spirit is put back inside of them! And they are able to draw near to God & hear his voice! And by faith we're able to receive God's wisdom.
I thought I was crazy. Until I checked MUFON's report site and realized 60+ people in my state saw EXACTLY what I saw, the same night, headed in the direction I reported. I wasn't alone but nobody can explain what we saw 20 years later......our tech STILL isn't even close.
Saw several do very fast maneuvers close to the US/Canada border in Manitoba. 90 degrees followed by a light trail that honestly looked similar to when you jump in elite dangerous. Farm had very clear skies with the main light off.
@@Hillbillykaren Ya, I did. Pattern of 3, nice easy to see sky in the prairies. Are they UFOs" You bet! Alien? Who knows? US and Canada both have aerial based research facilities near that area. They seemed far too fast to be early drone tech.
I saw a "fire in the sky" back in 2004. It looked like a jet airliner flying through a cloud at night, but the cloud never changed shape and left twin blue vapor trails as it moved across the horizon. It was absolutely massive and totally silent.
Point is, Fravor had a direct interaction with this thing. Imagine doing that !! Add to that, actual documented videos...amazing. I held a TS clearance in the Navy's weapons program. A very serious vetting for anyone in the military, with access and training to our most critical programs, Including tactically trained Pilots, the personnel reliability program is quite exclusive. To me there's a perfect trust of these individuals directly involved in these incidents. The reason I cannot ascribe to the thoughts of Mr Tyson or other scientists, is that if it is a anomalous sighting such as this, they are very quick to brush it off as something terrestrial and establish a certain idealism of description around it. In other words they can't accept the fact that it could be a alien craft visiting our planet. However on the other side if it's some cosmological scientific thing that they want to theorize about, then they want to sell that as fact. Typical theoretical scientists
I was 21 years old driving with a friend near Reno, Nevada when we decided to switch drivers. When my friend was exiting from the driver's door, he looked slightly upward and said to me "Do you see that?" I looked in the direction he was looking and saw what appeared to be a metallic disc about 300 yards away. I would estimate it was about 40 to 50 feet in diameter. It was traveling slowly when all of a sudden it rotated on its axis about 90 degrees and I could see the sun brightly reflecting off the top of this disc. There was no sound or any apparent means of propulsion. I had been a physics major at UCLA and was completely overwhelmed watching this large metal flying disc defying physics. The disc seemed to have a smaller disc attached on the underside that appeared to have portholes. The smaller disc was slowly rotating. The craft then started flying away from us, perhaps 200 feet above the pine tree tops and then I watched it change direction like a pool ball bouncing off a cushion which was physically impossible. It changed directions several times and eventually was out of view. We were both so shaken afterwards that we did not talk about what we saw. I am now a senior citizen, but I remember this event like yesterday.
Yes, you‘re rght! Thank you for outpointing that fact: It’s called parallax effect. Works even with stationary hovering objects, as long as the recording camera is moving along with the observer (jet plane).
The Robertson Panel (now declassified) deemed the uptick in UFO interest too distracting during a time when Russian Cold-War era threats were an issue. Since then, it's just been about covering up the lie with more lies.
In 1976 I was playing basketball outside with about 20 friends when something caught my eye, it looked like an upright pyramid atop an inverted pyramid and was perfectly camouflaged with the sky. I could only occasionally see it as the sun hit it at a particular angle as it slowly and silently spinned traversing the sky at a very low level, and I kept losing it in my depth perception as I TRIED to point it out to others. Later I worked at nearby Wright Patterson air base and was in every building above ground and most below ground. It was NOT ours.
As a life long skeptic, and open-minded one, grant you, but as someone who has always held the possibility of the ufo phenomenon to be just as equally likely anywhere between true reality to mass hallucination to complete hoax to attention-seeking lies to natural phenomena, this video documentary really does give me pause. I’ve always been highly interested in ufos, ever since I found the Flying Saucer Reader in a small antique bookstore, and whether at any point I thought it was real or else wise, I’ve always loved the stories and everything that comes with the territory. I’ve always been truly neutral on the subject, fondly interested in it and far from ever taking the opinion of widespread insanity of those who claim to have had experiences with ufos. I’ve thought some people definitely lie for attention, some definitely hoax their experiences, some definitely are explainable by other means, and a wide majority do experience a real phenomenon that has no explanation of any “natural” kind. Having watched this documentary, it’s pushed my position to be more towards that a larger portion of sightings and experiences are indeed of real phenomena, with far less people having a false experience of whatever kind it may be. I’ve always had a great distaste for those who are of the opinion that most people who have sightings are insane, I think that’s a massive insult to the general population, but I’ve also always conceded that our sensory perception is highly fallible. But unlike with History Channel “documentaries” about the same or similar phenomena where every piece of evidence is invariably led by “Could it be possible that…” in an obvious leading on of the audience towards a particular interpretation of the evidence (much like how anyone can be led to hear anything in the noise of a record played backwards if told beforehand what the supposed “backmasking” is saying), this documentary gives a far clearer picture of the situation and the circumstances and facts surrounding it. All that to say that my opinion on the subject has definitely shifted towards considering far more of the reports to be genuine. Whether it’s extraterrestrials or whatever else it may be, I’m much more in the camp that the phenomenon is of real craft or manufactured objects of some kind than I ever have been. This is a really great documentary, National Geographic really shines through in this regard amongst the dross of leading “documentaries” produced by other large media organizations popular today.
Watching the FOI for Stephenville TX radar and the response from military shown on radar should be the most compelling! Radar from airports are no longer available for review after this civilian and airport radar confirmation

National Geographic is notorious for never coming to any direct conclusions.. .. It's as those something or someone is always holding them from telling the whole Story...
If they had peoof to allow conclusions, these things would not be called UFOs 🤦 It's Nat Geo, so they do their best to stay true to scientific method, no cobclusions until the evidence is overwhelming and proved true. This is not Fox News that just makes things up to fabricate a narrative. I'm glad they are at least willing to share the facts and stories about the topicz without pushing concluaions that don't exist.

By the speed and altitude along, it was clearly nothing conventional. Needless to say, and for the sake of my FAA certification, I kept it to myself
thank you for your service.
Thanks for sharing your story!
AAAH yes, them ol NVG's.
I never mentioned about when I saw my first satellite in the sky in 1978, but decided that I was not very educated about what satellites were capable of, when I clearly saw it make a 90° turn x3 over the next 30 seconds...
THEY HAVE BEEN COVERING THIS UP SINCE THE 1930S
According to some stories, cases go back into the late 1700s to early 1800s. They've been hiding this knowledge for far too long, either way.

What I can't figure out is how they're getting into our airspace without the 6000+ satellites picking it up 😕
I agree maybe speed or material that it’s made of kinda like our stealth jets not detected by radar
They can live underwater or just using space curvature to hide their real size to be detected long waves (radio) satellites.
They are already in our airspace
They disappear
the satellites are not just randomly looking around, besides they do specific things
and mostly they are pointed towards earth
I see Michu Kaku I click!!!!
Just done watching “moonfall 2022”. And im really in the mood for sci-fi or maybe its really real. I think there’s really something intelligent out there. Something advance.
The US govt confirmed aliens already it's not something to be skeptical about anymore
I have seen a bright yellow orange orb at night . Since then I am looking up at the sky every time in hope to see it again
I think most unbelievable thing mentioned is that a lot people still read newspapers in 2017
Clearly not the National geographic I used to watch as a kid. Where you learned many awesome things.. Now it s a bunch of nothing that they twist to make a story 🫤😞
Because social media is so reliable, huh? If you get your news from a source that doesn't even have their own investigative crew on the ground, there's a few words for that.
"Fxcking gullible moron"
Hands up, l confess l still buy the occasional newspaper.

i really enjoyed this deep dive into the world of UFOs, Nat Geo always brings intriguing content. however, i can't help but wonder if some of these so-called "close encounters" are just overhyped stories or even government cover-ups. it seems like the more we investigate, the less solid evidence we actually find. what do you all think?
If NatGeo talks about it and makes a 3 hr 30 minute documentary, the UFOs sure do exist.
It means the Government has authorized a "What we want the Public to Think" and "a Condition the Public on the Subject" (to avoid Cognitive Dissonance)
It is a change in Policy, for certain.
well obviously they exist, the only question is does extraterrestrial life exist?

I too am a witness to the star people coming here . They left a message in the sky in michigan 1997. they looked like my avatar and I made a recreation video of what they did. Attention to these living beings and their messages is important if we are to learn more about them and advance our peoples knowledge of reality .
What a great documentary I loved the entire thing

What exactly should the Pentagon do about UFO’s ? Shoot them down?

Très très très captivant

50 shades of Grey. From outer space

Speed is relative. What these observations recorded are NOT the actual speed of the objects. Think about it. 🤔
Yes, you‘re rght! Thank you for outpointing that fact: It’s called parallax effect.
Works even with stationary hovering objects, as long as the recording camera is moving along with the observer (jet plane).

the real question is WHY this information was denigrated, it makes no sense
The Robertson Panel (now declassified) deemed the uptick in UFO interest too distracting during a time when Russian Cold-War era threats were an issue. Since then, it's just been about covering up the lie with more lies.
It makes a lot of sense, from the military and governmental point of view.

National Geographic is notorious for never coming to any direct conclusions.. ..
It's as those something or someone is always holding them from telling the whole
Story...
😂☝️🤪
Or, and I know this is wild, they can't actually determine what these things are. Coming to conclusions without sufficient evidence is a bad thing.
If they had peoof to allow conclusions, these things would not be called UFOs 🤦
It's Nat Geo, so they do their best to stay true to scientific method, no cobclusions until the evidence is overwhelming and proved true. This is not Fox News that just makes things up to fabricate a narrative. I'm glad they are at least willing to share the facts and stories about the topicz without pushing concluaions that don't exist.
