I have never met you in person, but I am really proud of you! I tell people that you are one of the best travel channels out there! I just like it, and I think it's a wonderful documentary
Wow, thank you!
You know exactly how to fascinate us. You're soooo Dari and that's good
That was awesome, very interesting and informative , thank you As someone who has never been off the North American continent, I enjoy seeing what life is like in other countries.
If you have the physical condition and the financial means, make sure you make that trip to another continent at some point. No matter the destination, it will be great!
Dari Step Thanks Much!
thank you Dari🌹a cucumber costs about .78¢ and a small olive oil is about $5 to $7 in Maine these days. i have to get one almost every week!
Hey Daria, thank you for great video! Because of the situation in Israel we’re meant to move to Tbilisi also 😊
Beautiful banner and thumbnail 👏
Thanks 😁
oh cool. over next week i will be in Tiflis. 🙏🙏👌
Hello Dari. I just discovered your channel. You did a great job on this video, its very informative. I am particularly interested in Georgia as another RUclips content provider who I follow has recently moved there as well. from Russia. She is Natasha from Natasha’s Adventures . Just thought I would throw that out there. Its always fun to meet new people. I will be looking forward to another episode from you and once again, great job and enjoy the sunshine. BTW, I watch from Vancouver Canada.
Glad you liked it :))
Enjoyable video, Dari. Love that you were able to find a job helping Ukrainian children!
Thank you! 😃
@@DariStep hello
Wanna contact u personal
New suscriber 🎉
Tbilisi seems like a charming city. Thanks for giving us the inside scoop. I really love the way you present everything.
My pleasure 😊
Thank you for virtual traveling with you❤
❤️
Welcome all who keeps peace in their minds and hearts ❤
Tbilisi looks good. I hope the local tourist agency appreciate you promoting their city!
I hope so ahaha!
Looks nice food it little less than in states I see some same brands in the store I'd like to see the beer selection if they have American euro beer is a little heavy for me like in mexico they have budweiser but it's expensive compared to domestic brands they all so reuse the bottles so it's even cheaper here we recycle cans and bottles but the their made into new ones but ya glad your having good experience thanks for sharing lots good info
I was really intrigued by Georgia and wanted to visit/move there for a while now, but recently I heard things changed a lot during the war because of the many refugees. Rent seems to be up a lot and food prices as well.
Thanks for the video giving a better understanding of the current situation.
prices are coming down already
Great video! The editing is outstanding. Thanks for such great content!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hello Dari,i am soo happy i saw you with Natasha and Alena, I am happy also that you like democracy and freedom, love 💕😘 you, peace ✌️🕊️ and love to Georgia 🙏

boiled condensed milk = "dulce de leche", a basic stuff here in Argentina, specially in the ice cream
Thank you very much Dari for this fantastic video. Tiblisi is really a beautiful city and also a nice place where to live. I am truly glad about your new startup as it is really important to help Ukranian kids and certainly thanks to your support they can be happier and giving happiness to the others is essential, especially when the suffering is so great. Greetings from Italy❤
Thank you for the nice words 🙌🏼
Thanks for another great video I really enjoyed it. You have taught me so much about Tbilisi and Georgia that without you I would never have known. I love seeing you travel+just living I am always interested in this and you never fail to impress. Lots of love Davidx❤
Thank you so much!
Hey, nice socks!
Thanks lol 😂
This clip was on the informative side, good job!
I’m glad you found a little stability, I know it is something you really wanted.
Yes! Thank you!
I love this video! Since Georgia was part of the Soviet Union for so long, we never heard anything about it. So, I appreciate learning about the country from you! Thank you and have a nice week!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Dari I loved this overview of Tbilisi and hearing your thoughts on your experience there. The city looks very nice overall. It is good of you to work toward helping Ukrainian kids. Happy New Year to you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sounds like an awesome place. If Georgia manages the population influx correctly, you just might start to see some of those city developments come to pass. It's definitely inexpensive compared to the US though -- your grocery take would have been more like US$60 in my part of the country, and we live in a relatively cheap area. Great perspective; thanks! 👍
Thanks for sharing your thoughts 💭
Maybe Antalya is ur next destination, not so crowded and noisy like Istanbul😉
very pretty; I have practiced yoga for many years, very good for you
Wonderful!
Nice vídeo Dari....Geórgia is a really interesting place. God bless you. Best regards from BRASIL 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you! 😃
Seems like a nice place to land for awhile
Congratulations Dari👋😁
It's great you found a job you like with Let's Shake Hands, and can continue making videos. Love the new channel banner picture - it suits you perfectly 😁
Thank you so much 😁
Also you are so awesome for continuing to do the grocery store price comparisons. I find this fascinating I don't know why. I like to compare grocery prices to my own country
I honestly don't want to flood your channel, but in the age of being submerged in information, I truly only can watch few videos anymore on RUclips as they bore me. Your channel NEVER bores me, and along with amazing cinematography it is filled with REAL practical info. Anyways take care! We love you!
Thank you so much!
Ahww.. yet again another informative and pleasantly aesthetic video. Been to Tbilisi for the second time last weeekend, and I missed the place already☺️
Hope you enjoyed it!
Btw your little jar of Pesto Genovese is quite expensive compared to west europe, but the rest of the groceries seemed reasonable
I can buy that size of pesto of supermarket quality for 5-8 Lari here
It looks like everything processed is more expensive than in the Netherlands (olive oil, butter) and everything unprocessed is slightly cheaper (vegetables, fish etc)
But all together I was surprised how expensive your food is. I thought it would be cheaper.
Tbilisi doesn't really has sketchy places to go out at night. Its more or less the same everywhere and its safe.
With rents that high is not very attractive for digital nomads, and it was on my list to go later next year but, I think I need to make other plans.
Hi Dari. You definitely made me want to visit Tbilisi with this video. Very informative and entertaining. It's wonderful to see you so happy and engaged with helping Ukrainian kids!
Glad you enjoyed it!
good honest appraisal - its on my list but agree probably not long term and the current situation with rents is an issue. Ive heard the second city might be better. I guess you can speak Russian everywhere no problem
First First!
❤️
Thanks for the insight into living in Tbilisi - great to see that you're enjoying it.
At 24 I was still living in my parents basement. Not traveling much and not working.
thank you for showing us what is life looks like out there
You must have worked very hard on this video! Great job! Love this video very informative with beautiful scenery. Im glad you are finding Georgia a good alternative till you can go back home in a few years. Great to see you happy.
Thank you so much!
Dari - only Tblisi has those fares. Wizzair flies from Kutaisi.
Hey Daria. What's the name of the cool co-working place?
Dari, Georgia looks beautiful. Very informative video. Food prices look similar to here in Florida. I'm glad you are doing and look well. Be careful with yourself.
Thank you! Will do!
More expensive than I thought. Looks great though!
Another great video!
When I worked in Azerbaijan about 10 years ago, a lot of my Azeri friends would go to Georgia for holidays because it was so cheap. Seems it still is, more or less!
Thank you 😊
Whats the name of the 'this place' around 6:30? :)
❤
You ever been to Canada ? I swear I hearx you mention it when you were explaining pricing .
I’ve not been there yet :)
No worries ;) thank you for the reply check out Vancouver Canada if you ever travel .take care .
Is the month May a good time to visit Tbilisi? I never considered it before, but I have 2 weeks holiday in May and I am looking to help local economies with my travel plans and not go to the standard Spanish or Italian holiday resort (nothing against those countries, I love them, but now I want to bring the little money I can spend on travel to people who need it more.) Turkey is another option for me, because of the earthquake.
Yes, May is a perfect month to visit Georgia!
Am curious how Batumi on the coast compares to Tbilisi.
Congratulations on getting the start up going!😊
Thank you! 😃
any hostel suggestion besides Fabrika for a single backpacker?
Elia Boutique Hostel ☀️
I would say for that amount of food it would probably cost about 70 dollars here in america with taxes included. What!? Theres a techno scene there too?! I need to check that out for sure)) The language there looks interesting. I dont think ive ever seen those letters being used in another country before. Is there anywhere else that uses their language or letters other than Georgians?
You should definitely check Tbilisi out! I don't think anyone uses their language!
@@DariStep thats very cool that their language is very unique to them. I wonder the history of it and who made it. Also how they came up with it.
@@jeremyo1457 That is actually 1 out of 3 scripts we have. The one you're seeing is the Mxedruli, the most modern one. There's also Asomtavruli/Mrglovani and Nusxuri, Asomtavruli being the oldest. Nusxuri was being used from 10th to 19th century. Nowadays seen very rarely, sometimes on ceremonies.
What's about the language spoken there?
Do normal/everyday people speak (next to there georgian) another language?
How is reading everyday stuff (like signs or menues cards in restaurants) for you? Is some stuff written in russian too? Or maybe even in german? 😜
Greetings from Switzerland!
Many people know English here (or Russian what is convenient for me ahaha)
You can find English translation in the touristy places, metro, restaurants and museums - so it should not be a problem in Tbilisi.
That's a lot of information in a 20 minute video. You put it together very well. In the supermarket I saw the Georgian writing on the products. I could not understand anything :-) What languages are spoken by the locals there? How much English is spoken there? Looking forward to your next adventures and videos. I'm glad to see you looking so happy and at home there in Tbilisi.
The luck of English translation in the groceries is a bit of a problem sometimes ahaha Fortunately, there are many Russians products which I know ahaha
Many people speak English here, especially young generation! The older one isn’t so much tho - but it’s enough for basic communication
Estou indo morar em Batumi, poderia me dizer qual e o melhor banco da Georgia, por que tenho que receber meu salario em um banco local... Obrigado !
Dari I did a virtual flight over Tbilisi and I saw a very tall triangular shaped building/skyscraper built on a hill. What is that exactly. Very strange, as to why would anybody want to build a skyscraper on the slope of a hill.
I'm glad you are enjoying yourself. Congratulations on setting up the startup for the kids.
How did your home cooked dinner turn out. Did you enjoying cooking at home growing up?
Some places here in the yard the snow is three to four feet high and it's -11.5 C right now at 9am.
Take care and stay healthy and safe as always Dari.
I hated cooking when growing up lol ahaha
But I do enjoy it now (sometimes 😂)
I am thinking about moving to Tbilisi but I have a cat to take with me so a Student Hostel won't work for me. How much would a large 1 bed flat cost with its own balcony for my cat to play on?? Thank you👍💗🙏
It is Great to see you smiling in the sunshine Dari... I follow a Ukrainian Family that spent a lot of time in Tbilisi, having escaped there home in Odessa.... They had a good time there..... It does look good, and a Place worth visiting...... Keep smiling Dear Lady..... :-))) xxx
Truly an amazing video Dari. Good job as always 😊
Love your banner and thumbnail 🤩Great to see how busy and productive you've been, hope you have time to sleep once in a while ☺
It seems like Georgia is a very nice Country, and if you feel safe I'm sure it is... except the cable cars and the evil children 😅
Regarding prices in Denmark, I'm unsure, depends if you are one or two or a family...
Food spendings in total, I think two people in average for 1 month would use about $500, and a single person about $250, and a family of 4 could be $750. Btw nice to see they have Lurpak butter (danish butter) 😂
I wish you and your fellow digital nomads a prosperous and happy year 🥰
Thank you so much Kenneth ✨
I would love to come and stay a while in your homeland, if only the rulers were more friendly. The food you bought would be about 2 or 3 more times expensive here in the US. It was a pleasure to see you express yourself again. Thanks Dari.
I've lived in the same town in u s a in wausau, wisconsin my whole life . I've had enough of oppression I think I might want to move to georgia
I be open to any guidance or information or advice.
In my place people say if a bird poops on you that is luck and you need to play lotto as soon as possible lol.
I was just listening to a RUclipsr complain about inflation in the US. He said that for 24 dollars he got 3 bottles of water and one cup of coffee. Georgia seems like it is managing its currency better than that.
lol here Australia wine be $19 , 4 bananas about $3 -$4 ,cheese $6.5 already blown the $23 you spent
4:39 Is this per week, or per month?
Wow Dari, you should have a cooking channel too! 😋 You are like the travel agent we all wish we had.
Have you considered rail? Its usually cheap to get around Europe and you can an unlimited pass usually for six months to travel all over the continent. At the moment, airfare prices will stay high! Unfortunately, because of the war, travel to and from Europe via Russia has been suspended. Your Russian passport isn’t of much value unless you change nationality. A good overview of life in Georgia! There could be worse places to live for a digital nomad in your situation. Let’s see what 2023 holds in store for the future. Dari, remain safe and stay blessed.
Rail can be very convenient! When I lived in Europe, I traveled like that all the time. But you cannot really get from Georgia to Europe my rail. For ex, you can get to Baku by train but right now they don’t operate.. soo)
You get more beautiful everyday Dari! Your videos get better and better and better too!
Thank you!
