Hey Cricket Lovers, what is your favorite memory of Sir Curtly Ambrose?
Every delivery of Ambrose is a memory! Every wicket of his is a favourite memory!
Your video is
7 for 1 against Australia and bowling England out for 46
7 for 1
I copied his action but couldn line length 🙏🙏🙏🙏
That 7/1 in Perth is the most devastating spell of fast bowling I’ve seen. I saw a lot of Roberts, Holding, Garner, Marshall, Mitchell Johnson and Donald but this was something else. I didn’t see Thomson in his prime. My earliest memory of him is the collision in the field with Alan Turner.
thats where the commentator said, that Ambroise is unreal,
Ambrose ❤
Bro had McGrath's Line and Length
Pace of Akhtar and Lee
Action like Malcolm Marshall
Can swing the ball like Wasim Akram
If you can do all these things, you're either Curtly Ambrose or Dale Steyn..
One of the greatest fast bowler🔥
Yes macha
Akram was better.
@@TRUMP20Z4
Akram was for "Sale" to the highest bidder like most pakistani players.
BIKKAO MAAL
Don't compare class with crass
He did not have the pace of Akhtar and Lee. Roberts did, Thomson even faster . Ambrose was very quick but combine that with the bounce he got of a good length and he was devastating. Steyn was not a good as Ambrose …or Alan Donald
Probably the best overall Test bowler of the 90s: 405 Test wickets at 20.99. I think he could have played another 3 years through to 2003 WC and 2003 AUS v WI Test series if he had wanted to. Would have taken 500 Test wickets easily.
Yeah
Ambrose never like the game of cricket ..his passion was basketball and playing guitar. He only played cricket because if his mum who was a big cricket lover .
That's the reason he disappeared after the retirement.

He was a hero for our childhood..... love from SL❤❤❤
He will be on anyone’s all time dream team.
For sure🔥
Nope. I have seen lots of all time 11 without him
@@realtalkmediatv3153Ofcourse people who follow only stats, but when it comes to skills it’s different
I know most of you won't agree with me, but i think venkatesh prasad was more skillful than curtly, he always looked threatening to me..

Give some match examples to prove your point ✌️☺️
What a legend he was!
Back in the early 90s we eulogized him.
When he played against India, only our patriotism kept us from cheering him.
He was a wonderful sight to watch, striding to the pitch to bowl with a fluid movement and maximum pace, bounce and power.
Passionate cricketer.
Respects Sir Curtly.
his overall aura as a fast bowler was a complete package. towering over everyone around with those serious looks. His pace and accuracy was just top class.
Curtly intimidated you with hush. No sledging required, waste of time to him
Many many have forgotten but true great of the game. Never uttered a word but dismantled batting line up. Thanks for this!
He was a legend🔥
...forgotten!!??!!! 😮😮 Not on planet 🌍
He would have been frightening for pace, bounce, accuracy but that slow ball that bowled Ian Healy was a classic. Even Healy had to laugh at himself.
Exactly
My childhood hero!!Sir Curtly Ambrose legend for life!! Nothing but respect 🙏
Old West Indies teams are legends
Yeah
From South America Guyana... Thank you for this video. Growing up, I truly appreciated great bowler over batsmen
He is one of the best 🔥
Undoubtedly the fastest, brutal, killersome and unplayable legendary bowler in the history of Cricket. Watching him playing, even against my own country, was a thrill... Cricket's all time legend.. Thank you sir for thrilling our generation.
I remember when he took 7 wickets for 1 run against Australia. West Indies havent found another bowler like him since. Probably would of been the best with Courtney Walsh if he didn't retire early. In my top 5 fast bowlers of all time. McGrath, Ambrose, Akram, Waqar Younis and Allan Donald. Are my all time favourites
He'd be first on the team sheet for me, every time. Absolute legend, and I honestly feel that he was unlucky to *only* get 405 wickets in tests. The amount of times he went past the bat within a gnat's ball-hair width of the edge was unbelievable...
Best memories of Curtly? Got to be either the spell of 7 - 1 against Australia at the WACA in 1993. Or *that* slower ball that got Ian Healy out...
All matches against AUSTRALIA is regarded as favorites for me..because they seems to be always shaking in their boots..😊😊😊
Agreed
I'm an Aussie and I recall grumpy Alan Border being interviewed after capitulation at the WACA. He was not happy and had a go at the interviewer about how it was easy for him, but " you get out there and see what it's like; even with a bowling change you face another bowler as fast and dangerous as the first one." That was the truth and that was the public's awe and appreciation of the West Indies - not forgetting their great batsmen and that great captain Clive Lloyd.
"boots", not "books"
@@dranoopjain thank you..never realized that I misspelled boots🤣😂
Forget abt "Death stare" or any abuse, his bowling along with normal stare was enough for Batsmen to dance to his tunes😊😊
Agreed!
One of the mightiest fast bowlers. I must say the time period between 1995-2011, was the best time for cricket. I mean just look at the players who in those 16 years, most of the cricket's greatest and wonderful players are from those 16 years.
Exactly
LEGEND SIR CURLY Ambrose.
One of the greatest
caught Richie Richardson, bowled Curtly ambrose. So many times in news paper. What a bowler!👏
Most lethal fast bowler 🤐
yeah
He had natural technique of bowling. This type of technique was seen only upto late 90s. McGrath donald and some australian bowlers like bichel and Lee Brothers used this technique. This style provides natural in swing. Best use by McGrath.
He was one of the best
I did not grow up with cricket having been born in the US, but I eventually made my way to Australia in 1990 and been here since. I now love cricket, and Curtley was an absolute thrill and dread to watch all rolled into one when he faced Australia. Awesome. Great to see the Windies defeated Australia in late January and now on the up. Woo Hoo.
Curtley Ambrose an absolute legend 👌
A great video about a great cricketer.
Thank you😍, He was one of the best🔥
Sir Curtly was a truly great bowler. In my view Malcolm Marshall was the greatest fast bowler of all times.
Arguably the greatest fast bowler of all time. Dominated us Aussies in the late 80's to the mid 90's. Dominated every country everywhere
Yeah🔥
I support West Indies and I think he was phenomenal. Had not for him, you guys would have been champions in 1992/1993 series.
His smooth lazy run-up had a quick action the main threat for the batsman were his length bowl which could bounce like a bouncer
These are good videos man. Keep it up and all the best
Thanks a lot man🔥
What a great bowler he was...! It was a pleasure watching him bowl and taking wickets.
I support WI, and he was special. My 4 bowlers would be..Ambrose, Marshall, Lillee and Akram.
He was one of the best
What can one say,Curtly Ambrose was truely phenomenal.I think in all the greats that we saw,Curtly could be theBEST.Curtly's accuracy and consistency,in terms of line and length was something else.Man whenever we were in trouble, from the days of Sir Garfield Sobers and Clive Lloyd,we were always confident of our quickies.Sir Curtly Ambrose and Courtey Walsh rank right there with them.Man these two guys were icons in their time.Hey man Thanks Sir Curtly and Courtney for all that you guys have done for West Imdies cricket and for bringing joy to crickets across the globe.THANKS.
If intimidation had a form in cricket, it was this guy. Legend of the game.
Exactly
Understandably batsmen would feel so helpless seeing the ball bounce where he could neither pull or drive- even middling to stop the ball was a skill.
Exactly
Walsh and ambrose deadly combo was only console for wi during there decline in late 80s and early 90s.....
Nightmare for the batsmen ...When Courtney walsh and Curtly ambrose were in first 10 overs in ODI.
Today’s generation are lucky not facing legends killer bowler. ❤🎉 Respect sir
Exactly
Add to everything what a character Curtly was. Absolute star of the game. Those were the best days of cricket. Now its all thos boring baseball like cricket.
🔥🔥
His height & dynamic attitude makes him highly inflammable
In my view
Alan Donald best test bowler of 90s
Waz akram best odi bowler of 90s.
Curtly Ambrose was best all format bowler of 90s.
God gifted talent.
He is my ideal for fast bowling ❤
Very lucky as I saw him playing live in all my teenage.
Sir Ambrose was too good to handle by the best batters of the world, one of the most Respected Champion of all times...The Great Sir C Ambrose ♥️🙏
Very calm bowler &very magnificent bowler his bowling action is very simple
Yup
The 90's was the greatest time for cricket where all teams apart from Zimbabwe and Bangladesh were strong in one format or another.
Now you only have 4 decent Test sides. The rest have sold their souls to T20 cricket which I feel has played its part in reducing the quality of talent.
Allan Donald was one of the most dangerous fast bowlers with best clean bowling action....
When he made westindies team he was known as the New sensation
Some great footage there.
Curtly terrorized Australia, we genuinely feared him.
He is No1 in my top 5. Ambrose, Wasim, Asif, Courtney and McGrath.
My all time favorite bowler...🔥🔥🔥 ❤️🇱🇰
His past: everyone loved his bowling
Present: everyone loves his celebrations
Future: everyone will love his character ❤❤❤
A super legend indeed
Yeah
What a Great team west indies, haynes, doojan, richards and richard son... డేంజరస్ batsman and bowlers

My All time Favorite Right Arm fast bowler
The celebration style of Ambrose is fun to watch. There is something about West Indian cricketers that every cricket lover loves them.
Yeah!
Ambrose.glenn McGrath.pollack .akhter.all time favourite bowlers
Don't compare Akhtar with the other three. Akhtar had pace to burn but his accuracy was very inconsistent.
Top cricketer sir curtly ambrose my respect to you from sri lanka
Magnificent bowler, never bowled a bad ball.
Yeah
❤Beautiful lesson and exegesis
Thank you very much for your TRUTHFUL advice and frightening insights PUBLISHER.
Glad you enjoyed it!
One and theONlY Ambrose !my fav bowler !
He has the best bowling action and the good follow through I ve ever seen in filed
Curtly + Courtney was an Epic that can never be relived
Agreed
If I could pick a test team. I'd always pick Akram and Ambrose with the new ball.
True legends on the game.
Exactly
Who will do the soda cap activity for Akram?
Ambrose the legend.... fast n furious...
Yess
The deadliest bowler.... Ambroose... 👍
The best number 1 on my list
Well-done bro
Thanks man
To be honest I have not seen any other bowlers in the world whose stock ball is nothing but hard length other than West Indies bowlers of nineties. During seventies they were champions due to their aboriginal domination. However in street domain this ball is called as choti ball and often gets smashed. So it's amazing how aboriginal Street things become bomb in special hands.😮
I remember the duo ambrose and Walsh a lethal attack on any team
They were one of the most deadly duo in the history of cricket
Beautiful video
Thank you so much!
One of great brother in era.
Yeah
he is a legend and very scary i saw him in action woow any player face in worse nigthmare
Exactly
Exceptional. Like Glenn McGrath, never seems to bowl a bad ball. Virtually unplayable
Agreed
Only thing bothered Curtley Ambrose were flies... 0:36
Great fighter sir curtly
Thank you Sir Ambrose.
big fan of Ambrose ....
My favorite bowler, the greatest ever, Sir Curtly Ambrose
🔥🔥
He is probably the only bowler with 90percent of wicket being bowled or slip catches
What a description❤
Thanks🔥
Ambrose is a legend.
No doubt
One of the greatest bowlers of all time!!
No doubt!
Gawaskar
Hayden
Dravid
Sachin
Lara
Kallis
Sangkara
Wasim
Warne
AMBROSE
McGrath
I believe Marshall-Ambrose duo is the most fearsome pair in the history of cricket.
Exactly 💯
Don't even near to Roberts-Garner-Holding-Croft-Early Marshal
@@sirvivrichardsfanforever because in those days cricket was for only bowlers.Four horsemen (Roberts,Garner,Holding,Croft) were immense no doubt but Marshall-Ambrose were something special.
@@yoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyoyo8670 Four horsman is considered as most feared bowling pairs. That's why they get this title if Marshall -Ambrose pair is best then why they didn’t get it??
@@sirvivrichardsfanforever Cause marshal was at the end when ambrose joined the party.if they were prime at a same time they would be devastating

Thank you😍🔥
He was simply the BEST
Yeah!
That one umpires reaction 😅😅
He is super hero bowler in the wold
Yes
No real bad balls only batsman had to be good to play shots against this guy... Under rated
Great and dangerous bowler ever
Curtley ambrose was one of the dangerous bowler at its time
Yesss
Ambrose and Walsh were the lethal combo of 90s
Exactly
I am on of the luckiest persons who witnessed the destruction of Sir Curtly Ambrose and Sir Courtney Walsh in the same match.
One of the best fast bowler in the world but BCCI never ever considered him to balling coach for team India....
It's BOWLING not BALLING! But he never played a test in India & doesn't have great test figures vs India just like JOEL GARNER.
Ambrose, the name says it all. Dot.
🔥🔥
That wrist position is artistry
Exactly
I liked his bowling action before bowl the nall two times shake in hand then bowl the ball
We enjoy his blowing action
Everybody does!
As an Aussie he’s the best I’ve seen
🔥🔥
