    Just another excellent video, no dude with spiked hair yelling at us, no bs gimmicks that mean nothing to separate one channel from another, and last but not least no hawking of products.

    Really enjoy the videos..if you had one female plant and wanted to pollenate it..would pollenating different branches with different male pollen be successful.
    As I guess in the wild they get pollenated by multiple different pollen.
    Also does the nutrients need change if pollenated...thanks for the video's

      with the STS you can "self it" and make a s1 fem out of one female plant. STS sold on amazon and a bunch of diy youtube videos out there too.. i have heard once pollenated you can go back to a 18/6 light schedule. im sure the nute needs are similar but might need extra something for seed formation. good question to dig into tho

    vid by vid i learn and grow---yes an interesting question of how to improve...more water more sun more ....and then some say less is more...time is an elusive element in the trichome magnification potential...and in the end more or less it works

  • @GrowersUnitedTogether

    Your videos are very informative. Learned a great deal....But we get so conflicted when it comes to trichomes. Do you have any info on what exactly they do? Are they a sun blocker for the plant, a means for water evaporation, defense mechanism, are the CSG's used for producing and storing of the cannabinoid and monoterpenes, or all the above? We love the channel. Great content. Thank you!

      I know genetics has a lot to do with it, so picking a high THC strain from a reputable vendor is a great start

    • @lontellmack9624
      @lontellmack9624 3 года назад +2

      THC vary from plant to plant. So using a top breeder like in-house Genetics or Seed junkie genetics which are $500 a pack is where you want to start to look 👀 👀

      dude $500?! maybe for 70 seeds 😂 I really like attitude seed bank, my buddy actually had a order get lost in the mail and they shipped a replacement at no charge the SAME day he called. check on there for most popular.. or any reputable seed bank. there are other opinions that help make bud stronger.. some I’ve heard over on DudeGrows YT channel and others can be:
      -a great light, very important (LED)
      -optimal environment (temp/humidity/airflow)
      -proper nutes (I go all organic with some amendments)
      -stressors in LATE flower such as letting the plant droop/24 hour or 48 hour dark before harvest
      -molasses, dropping temps late flower, or ice water watering (controversial)
      -supplemental flowering light (red puck or lizard light)
      but dude I’m new, just had my first harvest of Dark Devil and came out good! running some runtz/critical kush next. I’m by no means an expert but learned genetics are really really important; all of my above tips are limited by the seeds genetics. keep digging for amazing breeders, they may cost more but everyone knows the saying about that…. good luck
      Ps look into cannabis terpenes! why/how the plant makes them.. more terps will increase potency afaik

    Thank you Professor. Is the quantity of cbga decreasing as it breaks down to thca and cbda etc? Means harvesting it earlier would have more cbga in the plant? Thank you for your time and attention.

    • @DeBaccoUniversity
      @DeBaccoUniversity  2 года назад

      In short, yes as CBGA is converted into other substances its quantity will naturally decrease. This may help provide some data: www.researchgate.net/figure/Evolution-of-the-THCA-CBDA-and-CBGA-content-in-leaves-and-fl-owers-during-the-growth-of_fig2_292944730

      Yes, there are cannbinoids and terpenes present there in addition to the trichomes.
