Excellent info! I've been wondering when cannabis research would start giving us useful pharmaceutical drugs, and this isn't it. But with so many people smoking weed for a variety of purposes, Delta 8 may be the missing link to what I dabbled with back in the '70s. For those of us with jobs, security clearances and licenses that preclude taking any controlled substances, this opens up a new world of possibilities. Not that I'm going to run out and start getting high because "it's legal" at the federal level, but perhaps other substances in the CB* alphabet may prove to be the ideal sleep aid or the relaxation aid without the side-effects of alcohol and prescription drugs. I was able to get an lb of organic and tested hemp flower trim from a company in Oregon for $20 (former mmj card holder in Florida here), and it’s just as effective for me. The terpenoids seem to play a much larger role than people give them credit. I suffer mainly from neuropathy and a small pipe of throw away herb had by back pain subside within minutes. I firmly believe that if I were to mix the cbd crude oil with delta-8, I’d get the full beneficial effects (or as close to it) as Rick Simpson oil. I’ll drop an update if you care to know

I live in an illegal state and I’ve been seeing this Delta 8 in a lot of stores even in gas stations. I asked about it and was told it wasn’t CBD. I then asked if it gets you high, and I was told yes, but it’s different than THC. So I decided to just look it up and here I am. Thank you

I got it for the first time yesterday as I am also in an illegal state. It looks, tastes, and made me feel like 100% smoked some weed. I got the flowers and it broken down and smelled just like weed. Stuck to my fingers like that good old sticky does. If I was sold this and told it was weed I’d 100% believe it and not think twice. I didn’t smoke weed as much as of recently. But my PTSD and medical conditions had me looking for something. This seems to help so far.

I highly recommend looking out for what they’re calling THCa flower, I’ve found it in my state at a local run shop and I’ve heard its been catching on elsewhere. I don’t know how this is legal but as far as I understand it has a very low amount of decarboxylated Delta-9 THC but normal amounts of THCa. Basically once you smoke it or decarb it, it’s delta-9 THC. As far as I know atleast, it would be awesome to see it cleared up on this channel.
Delta 8 only exists because of prohibition and the savvy chemists who wanted to find a way to take advantage of legal loopholes found in some paper statement written by pseudo-educated lawyer people with conflicts of interest in the farming/agribusiness industry Who knows if there is a place for this esoteric compound in a future post-prohibition, given how hard it is to isolate delta-8 compared to natural cannabinoids But it's cool af to know the chemistry works to make a compound like that. Maybe there's other isomers with uses waiting to be synthesized as well that will have potential uses
As someone who used to partake of the devil's lettuce for many years before it randomly started giving me panic attacks, I'm extremely thankful for delta 8. It gives me a lot more body effects / pain relief without the paranoia and doom feelings.

@@michaelmendillo7513 Absolutely. It's easily controllable. Start off with about 10mg of Delta 8. If that isn't enough then do 20mg the next time (wait at least 24 hours). I take 60mg but I also like to be just a little higher because I like the subtle psychedelic effect. Its way better than alcohol IMO.
Still legal and available online. I’d rather have delta 9/ marijuana as I live in a legalized state. The issue in Connecticut is dragging their asses with availability and I refuse to pay a drug dealer for weed.

Motor functions are impaired with Delta 8. I've taken it for almost 2 years now. I have driven while under the influence but it is something I only rarely do as the drug definitely causes issues.

Take one or half if you are afraid of overdosing. then dose from there. I have never heard of anyone overdosing on Marina the Jinna lol.. in the first place. If you didn't like the paranoia or other similar side effects as in too intense I would take less. If you didn't feel enough relief or whatever stimuli you are trying to achieve but have no significant side effects, increase dosages. It sounds as though the video creator has never tried these products. Reading material is complete bs. You need experience in the job.

But you realize if you buy bulk delta 8 distillate and cook it in the glass it comes in, at 400° it’ll turn into delta 9, thru what is called isomerization(rearrangement of molecules) thru a chemical reaction, in this case using heat. Sulfuric acid which is what even the big dogs out in the north west pacific do. Top class brands are thca distilled into delta 9(natural conversion). The rest is chemically sped up because heating takes a bit longer.

I'm an mmj patient in FL, and I prefer delt-8 to delta-9 personally. It seems to be as effective as an isolate for my ailments, and i've largely switched to "hemp" anyway. I think a lot of people are starting to look more at hemp than "marijuana" for their treatment.

I'm in FL and I see Delta 9 available in smoke shops. How is this possible if Delta 9 is original THC?
This has to do with laws and legal rules and regulations which vary state by state.
Because Delta 9 is trash, can't get high off it and the FDA has not approved it.

US Federal limit is 0.3% THC to be considered hemp.
Personal experience delta 8 stayed in my body for 28 days, tested positive for that long. I am a daily delta 8 user 4-8 puffs every night
