I like how they shout at each other even when they're agreeing.
ESPN heard you
That’s the official language of USA
"Congratulations to everyone involved, you deserve it"
Classy, haha.
"Cowboys Inform Fans They're Done For The Season."
I nearly died laughing at that.
"Atheists, Jews and gays"
LOL
I don't mind being grouped with Jews, but gays is too much...
I spit soda at the screen so hard when they mentioned Penn State. Their reactions...
"My new years resolution is to not have a gun to my head anymore"
lol
The Penn State reaction was priceless
71% state that all of his traits are disturbing..... well, they said it right!
Jerry Jones vs Pol Pot LOL
Man I miss Sportsdome... gone far too soon
"My New Years Resolution is to not have a gun to my head anymore" 🔥🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣
Im from Michigan and am a huge Lions fan, i lmfao when i saw "Suh Accidentally Kills Teammate On First Day Back"
I love how they fire back comebacks as soon as one of them starts talking
Did I hear them say “Christians don’t like to tell others what to do” hilarious 😂
Great once again; love the Tebow poll with 103% reporting.
Penn State at the end, almost word for word taken from a SportsCenter report.
What a great series of sketches.
TheOnion's best show in my opinion. They portray what it's like to watch actual sports talk shows with eerie accuracy, minus actual sports talk shows being funny.
"Yeah penn state... Congradulations to everyone who were involved, you deserved it :D" OMG that killed me xD
I like this segment because I receive all my sports news, but with less shouting than all the other sports segments on tv
this is definitely the best segment the onion produces
0:49 "Cowboys inform fans they're done for the season"
Sad because it's true
This whole series has maaad Carl Brutananadilewski energy
@purplesully I don't think anyone is really saying "yes, the onion news is the most serious news form on the face of the planet." It's just that The Onion does bring up today's issues threw tongue in cheek humor. My point is that people are not "idiots" if they discuss it.
The things that show up on the ticker at the bottom of the screen are hilarious
Nothing against the Onion, but the Barnes and Noble bargain shelf seems to be the best place to find their books.
Kenny and Doc - Best comedy duo this generation!
Extremely violent game somehow leads to violence in parking lot
Everyone knows that most football players aren't Christians. Except for this one guy.
Pat Tillman, an atheist, gave up pro sports AND his life in service to his country. I'm a million times more impressed with him than I'll ever be with a quarterback who thanks Jesus for touchdowns...
You have to watch these videos twice. Once to watch the video, and again to see all the tickers.
Sadly this is not too far off from the real espn
It's hard trying to read all the bottom headlines and listen at the same time.
lol bottom ticker at 1:31
this should be on ESPN instead of boring PTI
What really makes the Onion hilarious is when people write PhD comments and engage in serious arguments on the vids.. lol.
lolol Story of the year... Penn State congratulations to everyone involved, you deserve it.
Cracked me up.
I miss GOOMF :(
The subtle yet not-so-subtle aspects of the Onion's satire are the best, like how the sports show segments are simplistic and the commentators are loud and obnoxious, to mock real sports shows.
You can't shoot me for watching sports haha
Well...for the final GOOMF of the year, they went out with a bang, (haha, get it?)
The #1 Story is Penn State "Congratulations to Everyone Involved" lls
@dermotbuckley No...he shouted "GOOMF." He does that from time to time.
Two words: Reggie. White.
No but in all seriousness, this is hilarious.
The Jerry Jones joke was hilarious.
Extremely violent game led to violence in parking lot... how??
It's impossible to not have a gun to your head! I deny that resolution on the grounds of insanity.
HAH! I love the little blob getting shot in the head animation.
"knicks acquire tyson chandler to complete shitty superteam" that's f'n awesome
There's a flaw in the "Tebow Poll" graphic. Florida should be blue as well. Forgot about that, huh? If it were, the graphic would be perfect -- and hilarious.
I don't even follow sports that much, and this shit is still hilarious.
Man, this looks so much like PTI it's scary.
Best one yet
lmao @ the closing lines
this seires is awsome keep doing it
"Clippers have no idea why Chris Paul wants to play for them." LMFAO
It is a little more toned down than Bill O'reilly Fox news
Brad Pitt is now a General Manager of a baseball team? Time to boycott.
there is timer on the bottom left corner WTF!!!!!! is it for
-Now get outta my face calender year!
-GOOMF!
Nah Florida still loves the man
Hahahaha Colorado is the only state highlighted under "He doesn't bother me"
LOL, he was saying the kids Jerry Sandusky touched deserved it.
hahahah they both seem more pissed than usual
I have a feeling the Penn State reference might've made more sense if I had any idea about American sports. Anyone care to explain?
@seahawkers101 the ticker at the bottom is normally better than the actual video ahahaha
I lol'd when they said Christians were accepting of their fellow man.
Levan Reid now does the sports for WBZ Boston...Seems so weird to have him reporting the sports news...normally...
Merry gun and happy new to your head!
The yelling is what makes it funny...
Sports in America seems amazing! Wish I were there!
"Packer also have a chance to go 13-3"
You know, I recently watched an ESPN debate about NBA teams and stars, and realized that those EPSN presenters do an awfully good job at spoofing The Onion.
I think they’ve even improved since
oh my oh my. someone missed it.
@Battl3Cry I'm pretty sure they're making a satire of all the attention this story has received in the media. It sounds like they didn't choose that story and the whole list was given to them so when they got to that it pissed them off. The onion is just annoyed at the pointlessness of the whole ordeal I think.
The Penn State Part Was Too Funny.
@culwin Did I ever in any way even remotely say that? No, read the comment: 'Tebow probably thanks Jesus for giving him the ability and opportunity to be a successful NFL quarterback.' That in no way says that Jesus only cares about Tebow, All that says is that Tebow gives Jesus credit for his success. And if you read the bible, nowhere in it does it say that god hates or doesn't care about anyone, but multiple times we find that it says that Jesus loved everyone despite their flaws.
Love that PennState ackward ending. Funny Stuff!!
holy fuck that last one about penn state was soo fucking funny
hey thats the colorado skyline in the backround!
These are definitely getting funnier
When I grow up I want to be just like Doc... but with a neck.
i don't get any of these sports references
"Cam Newton Sets Record For Having Worst Ever Teamates".
Christian Ponder was robbed!!!!!
@pillowbugg I'll have to look into the Rwanda and Yugoslavia examples you cite.
@Ooftyman I beg your pardon? As a jew? That is not an argument. that's a plead to sympathy, and is not a rational argument. I'm not denying that nazi's had ties to occultism, but occultism isn't a religion. and that does not change the fact that Hitler embraces christianity in mein kampf. upon becoming chancellor in 1933, On March 23 he addressed the Reichstag, in the course of which he acknowledged Christian belief as the " unshakeable foundation of the moral and ethical life of our people".
Surprisingly accurate
oh my god the penn state bit was perfect LOL
@eddierocks010 It's for how many seconds are left to read the headline at the bottom of the screen. The league name next to that is what league the headline is in. And the shouting men above the headline are there to get in your face with FACTS.
perfect rendition of sports tv lawl

@purplesully Actually The Onion has made a serious debate out of all it's videos through humor. Kinda like what Jon Stewart has done. You can't really be serious that people have something to say about Pen State for example, are Idiots because after all The Onion just made a tongue in cheek reference to it. That's what's so great about The Onion, are you new here?
I wouldn't be surprised if the average sports fan thinks this is real.
As a bowl of cheerios, I find this hilarious.
Anyone else notice the percentages add up to 103%?
lol Doc is in Denver
"People thought Christians couldn't play because they hate telling other people what to do..."
LMAO.
LOL @2:08
i dont get the penn state one ...
@w9j15g I'd say Brady, he has multiple super bowl rings, a super model girlfriend and is going to go down in history as one of the best qb's of all time. Tebow is a 20 something year old virgin and is going to play in the nfl for a few years before he is booted into becoming spokesperson for christian/right wing organizations.
lmao yup, this segment is fuckin hilarious
@hammerfallsokk It's separate point that you brought up initially. You just asked a rhetorical question mentioning Marxism. Marxism-Leninism is a blend of the two ideologies, as claimed as well as disputed, and the term was used at least in name. You assume that because I merely mentioned one-half of the ideology, that I'm assuming it's the same thing as communism in the vague sense of the word?
