  • NO-KNEAD! SUPER EASY white bread! Soft on the inside & crispy on the outside!
    Measurments:
    1cup=237ml 1/3cup=79ml 1tsp=5ml 1tbsp=15ml
    baking pan size: 9X5inch
    Ingredients:
    All-purpose or bread flour 2 +1/2 cup /420g
    White sugar 1tbsp/13g
    Dry yeast 1tsp/3g
    Salt 1/2tsp/3g
    Water 1 +1/3cup/280-300g
    oil 1tbsp/15g
    Bake at 190°C / 375°F for 30-35 minutes
    高筋或中筋面粉 2 +1/2 杯 /420克

    成功了, 我没有放冰箱,就两次发酵就烤了。也没整型,揉个差不多大小就放入模具。没法发照片给你, 要不就拍个照片了。 挺好的。味道很清淡,就像馒头, 下次可以多放一点点的糖和盐,更有味道些。 不错。 这个免揉真实省事啊。感谢!!!这回不用出去买面包了。 放心,真材实料, 没有防腐剂色素。需要买把切面包的刀了, 我就用普通长的水果刀硬切的。下次我要换成黄油试一试, 可能更香

    Prepared this last night , used milk instead of water. refrigerated as per instructions and baked it today morning, after the usual proofing. Result? AMAZING!! Taste exactly like bakery style bread, so flavorful and soft and perfect! Thank you so much for this recipe.

    This bread is unbelievable !!!! It stays soft. Makes great toast , sandwiches. whatever you want . The texture is amazing even with sandwiches 🥪 it stays intact , doesn't crumble..and is incredibly soft! Its day 3 now and it is still soft!! I was very skeptical about this method because I have made every type of bread you can imagine by the kneading method..Well no more is all I can say to you bakers..This is the queen of all white breads and so easy!! Just try It you wont be sorry !!!! It is so tasty as well..
    One thing I want to mention..First time I tried with bread flour and I had to keep adding water..So I just started over with the amounts in the recipe with all purpose flour and it turned out great. the dough was just a tad too wet . But as all you bread makers know every brand of flour is different so most of the time there is always adjustments to flour and water ratio. Climate is a factor as well.. My oven range is always 10 degrees higher also so that also needed adjustment.

      @@HellySimpleRecipe Hello Helly. I got a question, Is there a way to keep the bread crusty? I made the bread again, and as the first time, comes out of the oven really crusty but once cooled down isn't crusty anymore. The bread is really nice but I would like to keep it crusty if that's possible. Any advice? Many thanks.

    I made this recipe today. It turn out great but I didn't get the as much oven spring as yours looks like. Maybe the pan size or maybe the second rise wasn't long enough for my conditions. I'll be making this again. Thank you.

      You can use warm water but not more than 40 degrees C or the yeast will not work. I used room temperature to ferment the dough in this recipe.

      Yes, you can but the water might have to be adjusted a bit because whole wheat flour might absorb a different amount of water.

    I tried your no knead whole wheat bread but my bread didn't rise in the loaf pan and was undercooked. I baked it for 60 minutes but the dough was still raw

    Suggestion, include in your recipes the temperature of the water you add to the dry ingredients and the size of the bread pan. This would help beginners quite a bit.

    So nice of you to share, I can't knead flour, it always ends up being too stiff and later could burst a man's head with it lol. could the bread be baked the same day or it must be refrigerated?. Thks looking forward to more of your recipes

      I'm not an expert but I've been cooking bread for a few months, i believe you can, over night makes the dough elastic, so the overnight time does the kneading for you. If you don't over night, it won't be a chewy bread that's all. But yeah you can

    Hi thank you for the recipe. Usually how long does it take to double @ room temperature? Should it not be kept in the warm place to double? Thank you.

      It depends on your room temperature but i used 2 hours for the dough to double size at the temperature 21 C and if you put it somewhere warm, it will double quicker.

      @@HellySimpleRecipe I had prepared this bread today..last night i had kept in warm place to double n kept the dough in refrigerator over night. But my dough was not double in the morning like yours. Any idea why it was not double after keeping in refrigerator. Thank you.

      @@ashuhnI always follow Chef Wan's advise to stir the dried yeast into the water given with a bit of sugar to let it activate -- if no bubbles, that means your dried yeast is dead. Don't make bread, wasting your time and ingredients. Even just bought dried yeast may be dead.

    Another suggestion I would like to make: When you say 'leave to rise until double the size'. How long is that exactly? I'm a beginner and would have no idea as to how long that would be.

      Hi Pryia.
      The battery on my scales ran out, so I had to use the tablespoon method.
      I just made sure that everything was level, and it turned out lovely.
      Hope that helps.

      I'm from the UK, but the measurement is definitely 240ml.
      I worked out that it's 16 level tablespoons of flour.
      And at one time I had to use a dessert or soup spoon, one and a half level dessert spoon is one tablespoon..

    水用溫水加active dry yeast 會否更好?指加熱過?

      是的,Active dry yeast用温水化开会更好些,但一定要掌握好温度不要太烫(别超过40度),不然酵母都牺牲掉了。
