I'm definitely happy to see your perspective on these wheels. They are definitely intriguing wheels, love the tech thrown into these. I'm definitely getting a set.
nice. im more interested in that acedeck with the street gear drive though. I wish the Ares x1 had the option for street gear drive preinstalled when purchasing .
⚡ *Openin is so beautifully shot* 👌🏼⚡ I love 85-90mm wheels and this was temptin at 100mm... but I'm not sold on the ride characteristics of this wheel, for my ridin style. Great wheels for its target customer.
90mm with a belt drive is so much fun! But this gear is so low to the ground already scrapping it up is bound to happen! I’ve already scratched the bash guards
@@DrewElia oh yhhhh, forgot about that, damn clearance issues 😭 My verreal has a design that has less clearance on 85-90mm than other belt drive DKP boards
will these work on a meepo voyager? it came with 2 pulleys (32t 245-5) & (36t 255-5m). would you reccomend these over cloud wheels and meepos cyclones? Im justy look for something to maximize range. I have 105 cyclones on now.
They are Kegel adapters so yes it’ll work in the voyager. Pending what your top end speed that you want is that teeth and belts pulley you want to use.
Weird to see coned wheels being a thing, but makes sense for less rolling resistance. normally when sliding and not rotating wheels often coned wheels is a bad thing in downhill, probably good for grip until you loose it. dual duro first done by landyathz cheeta wheel btw
Not that any of us want to ridenin the rain, but I'm worried about the effect that angle and hardness difference would have on hydro planing on puddles
I would say that honestly about any street wheel, I’ve got caught out in rain and on regular 90mm wheels hydro planed. None of them are meant to be out in the rain 😂 but good call in itb
They aren’t my dude! Check out my channel! I’ve done videos on boards that are under $400! They go 28 mph and over 17 miles of range. You can definitely get into Eastgate pretty cheap these days.
the image on the main camera is so crisp i could literally see individual hairs on your beard, im wondering why are you still using the 360 cam when the main one is just so much better? Just use it casey style with a gorilla pod
Weight and cost. My main camera is over 6k set up. Don’t want to drop that at 35mph 😆 it’s just a cost factor. When I have help or film my friends I’ll use my professional camera

Glad you like them! They are definitely going to be on my rotation of wheels! The grip is really nice and it’s an actual noticeable range improvement
nice.

Maybe in future boards!
Sick ride and set up. I love to see all the combs that can work with this board. I can't wait to get my hands on the new gear drive street set up.
Right on! Yeah, its a very versatile board, that ESC really is the star of the show, putting out as much power as it does!
@@DrewElia I know right. I have a feeling acedeck is gonna need it's own race class lol.
🤫 sleeper class 😆
@@DrewElia They come with 10mm bearings right?
sorry yes they do!
great video Drew. Well done Onsra.
Thanks brother!

Ahh... the Stone Pony... NJ! hahaha love it
Yes! Stone pony is basically my backyard haha

Looks really good on that board!
Agreed my Man!

very interesting information man! thank you for the update on the landyathz info!
Got these wheels and they are amazing with a flexible deck.
I can only imagine the grip on a bamboo deck!
Thank you
You're welcome
Same concept as the 105mm hollow wheels, looks interesting!
Similar but the holes are drilled on the front of the wheel!

These look awesome but don't think I'll ever put my board that close to the ground o.O
There's a bearing size to choose when getting the tarmax, and im still confused which one to get whether 10mm or 8mm for the ares x1 gear drive
I believe the x1 is 10mm but confirm with acedeck
@@DrewElia thanks for letting me know
is this better than the madwheelz V2?
Different grip, these are 100mm and the dual duro is felt when aggressive carving happens. The v2 IMO are an overall fantastic choice
How’s the acceleration compared to the Acedeck Ares X3?
more powerful off the line, but the x3 top end will win over all
misspelled description
What exactly?
...description says '...Tramax Wheels,' instead of '...Tarmax Wheels,' : T-R-A-... instead of T-A-R... @@DrewElia
Wish e boards wernt like 1200 bucks still need one for my 5 mile comute in the morning

Small is good. Super low to the ground.
