The gear drive looks promising. Lots of fun dirt/gravel paths where I live, but I’m not a huge fan of picking pebbles out of belts all the time, and turns out the direct drive motors are allergic to dust. Hopefully gear drive is the answer!
Fabian me and Edgar we been riding the Velar Here (Dubai) with one belt and one Gear Drive no overheat at all specially we went to Ras K about 90 mins from Dubai it was hotter and No problem. This Velar is Setting a New BENCHMARK ON ESK8 world. Thank you

Does the Velar have optional foot bindings? Super cool channel.
We don’t sell bindings ourselves but we do have many customers that added them. However it turns so well that it really is not needed

How hot is too hot on my belt drive Velar? On long runs, the motors seem hot,but not so hot I can’t touch them…
No worried the Controller would tell you that it’s too hot when it’s actually too hot
