I've noticed since build1803, many regback folders have 0's making the regback folder unusable at that point. I've come across this (regback issue) several times recently with client computers. Seems like Microsoft has done something to disable data backup. At that point, it seems like only doing a reinstall of Windows 10 will work. Restore points have been turned on and created, so not sure why regback has 0's. Found a forum where people discuss how frequently since build 1803 this has become an issue and Microsoft tends to ignore it.

Okay for the people who can’t get on the repair screen I gotch you. First hold down the shutdown button for atleast 4 seconds then turn your pc back on 3 times then it should automatically boot up to the repair screen by itself. Found a comment that had the same thing but I decided to help out a bit :)
I even downloaded window 10 updates and drivers on a USB because the problem started when I updated my windows. So I need to uninstall and reinstall recent updates but I cant even do any of that coz my screen wont go on.

In my experience it will eventually open up, giving me 9 options press F10 and press on the first option I eventually reached their coz I thought my windows has already crashed so I was messing around with it more
Here’s an easier fix just hold the power off button and wait about 15-30 seconds and if it’s still doing it repeat it a few times it took me 3 and then it should say “getting windows ready” and it’ll give you a percentage at the bottom just wait for it to finish and your computer is updated and there shouldn’t be any problems
I’m just on a never ending loop. I just reseted my settings to clear everything. It went to restart my computer and now it’s just keeps restarting. The only thing I can get into is the bios. Help!!

Thanks for the video, unfortunately this didn't work for me. After trying everything in yours and many others videos, nothing worked for me. I was able to fix my problem and get back into Windows 10. Doing all the scannow, DISM, diskpart, etc recommended in the videos to no avail, I restarted PC, with a USB made from Windows Media Creation Tool, after a bit of waiting it showed "Diagnosing PC," I continually hit F11 until it brought me into the troubleshooter, I went to advanced and UNinstalled the lastest updates (There were 2 different options) I uninstalled 1, then the other. I then restarted PC without the USB, just my normal Windows boot drive connected, it was a bit slow but it booted right back into Windows. The last 2 updates I did were the Cumulative 21H1 (KB5003637) and Quality of Life for 21H1 (KB5004476). Once those were removed I had no problems booting into Windows. Now that I'm able to get back into Windows, do you have any recommendations to help prevent this again, other than the obvious backup and creating a restore point? Thanks for all your help.

Now I had my internet drivers taken out, since I did a complete Network Reset. After doing this reset, I could not find a single method to revert my computer back to its initial drivers. I tried restarting countless times, and during one of these resets it hard crashed. Now it's stuck like this and I have no internet drivers.

Best PC tech site I found so far. Recently updated WIN 10 on my ASUS Transformerbook T101HA. Now stuck in a permanent loop with message 'undoing changes'. Cannot get into windows 10. System restore is disabled by default, I like to enable it as a chance to recover system

You have to interrupt the booting sequence 3 or so times until it starts saying "automatic repairs" and it will give you the troubleshooting options

The best way to fix it is to uninstall windows 10, get an old copy of windows 7. And there you go, problem solved.

After I did bcdbedit /export c:\bcdbackup it says the store export operation has failed. The configuration registry database is corrupt.

Check the serial number on the bottom of your laptop. Type it into google and it should tell you which command to do. For me it was alt f10

Best PC tech site I found so far. Recently updated WIN 10 on my ASUS Transformerbook T101HA. Now stuck in a permanent loop with message 'undoing changes'. Cannot get into windows 10. Can only access American Megatrends BIOS but there is no option in the boot menu to boot from USB. So completely stuck. Any chance of a video on a fix?
You can create a system boot DVD. That would give you access to the prompt/commands.
How can I get into dos to do all this? I'm an stuck in a boot up Windows loop. I cannot get into anything but the F-buttons and they were no help what so ever.
Who else can't access Automatic Repair. My PC got a blue screen (screen of death) and can't access anything and when I try this method of power on power off, the boot loop just doesn't stop. 😭. Please help 🙏
