I've wanted to make one of these for a long time. Just got around to making it. Totally stoked about it. If your not already, connect with me on instagram.com/morediycreators/
Maestro, just discovered your channel, just excellent. I’m using this light box (in different sizes) as ‘wall niches’ to display art and ornaments since I’m building my house with wide (hollow) walls. Thanks a lot sir!
You are certainly not short on skills including woodworking, photography, and making DIY videos. There was a nice pace to your tutorial, clear, concise, and educational. Thank you.
I appreciate that you show and tell us what you did during the process to improve it, and that it wasn't part of the plan in the first place, shows what could possibly happen to us and to look out for it. I appreciate that
wow! this just popped up on my YT feed this morning and it couldn't have been more timely. My husband does woodturning and I can never get a good photo of his pieces - I was going crazy trying to find a good lightbox. Perfect and just what I wanted - I'm starting to build it today. Super Thanks for such a good video.
Some people don't ever seem to learn, huh...They keep on putting out great content without taking into consideration that a viewers to-do-list keeps on getting longer and longer :-) No, seriously Glen...This is another excellent build that will definitely make it to my to-do-list....Keep up the great work !!
I'm so glad I stumbled over this video. I was gonna buy a light box to photograph my products but I decided to see if anybody had a DIY build for one. This vid gave me a big confidence boost. I think I can actually manage this build. :) Big thanks!
I’ve been wanting to get into photography for a while and building a light box like this may finally motivate me to get the camera out. Thanks again for the inspiration Glen.
Amazing light box, I make purses and handbags, just what I need to capture the uniqueness of my hard work on camera. Thanks so much! Looking forward to your other DIY ideas!
I needed my light box to be collapsible for storage and travel, it is made from a collapsible tent cube for cats. I just replaced the colorful fabric with white cloth. Works great for the small items that I expect to work with. I like the one you made, and I would love to have the room for one that size.
Hi Glen. I am totally blown away by your videos. Where do I start. Great build ideas, great lighting and camera placement. Your background music is there but not at any level one could say is annoying, thanks for that. I so appreciate your honesty during a build because how many of us DIYers make small mistakes and curse ourselves for doing so. I really like the detail tool list you put with each build along with all of the materials you used and where to buy them. Thanks for not jabbering on about nothing when watching is all that's needed. You speak when something you've done or are about to do need an explanation. So all in all I'm a fan. Fantastic!! Gerry, Vancouver, Canada.
great video! you can get pocket hole fillers made out of wood, which you glue in and sand flush. much faster than waiting for that thickness of wood filler
This is a fantastic build! Especially for creators. I have one I made using a cardboard box and its not really sturdy. This would be a beautiful upgrade.
I'm really digging those clamping squares. In the future, when you work with fabric, put the staples in the center and work out to the edges. Pulling gently all the way. Good build, I'll be making one, a bit smaller, in the future for taking pictures of jewelry.
Great job! I'm seriously proud of you for making this yourself. VERY well thought out and properly built. I look forward to seeing more videos of yours.
Thanks for the video. Like many, this has been on my to-do list for awhile. Your take on the light box is well thought out, will help me save time, and gives me the push I need to build something that I've needed.
Great project. I get the impression that, if you're the kind of person who'd need one of these, you'd _really_ need it. The construction is simple enough that you'd need very few tools to be able to build the thing. Probably wouldn't be too hard to adapt it to a flat-pack knockdown style, either. :D
this is incredible! I plan on making one of these myself now that I've seen your video. only thing I'm planning on doing differently is making a slot at the top of the box to slide the posterboard in.
Hi Glen was it? I have been searching RUclips and watching videos for 2 days now looking at so many videos on how to make a light-box. Most were made using a cardboard box, and I guess that does the trick and it is cheap, but your's is out of this world! I loved how once you had put the diffusing fabric on you said you wanted it to look neat, so you glued a frame over it and it just finished it off and made it look beautiful :-) One day I hope to be able to talk my guy into making me one like yours as that way you can move it around, take it outdoors if you want and well, it just isn't going to fall apart the first trip it makes with you. LOL. Anyway, thank you again and great looking merch!
Super cool man! Your videos are some of my favorites, very descriptive, great editing, and some extremely useful projects. Keep at it brother! Cheers, Chris.

That’s badass what you made to hold the wood in place and create a straight frame! Bravo
This is exactly what I was imagining and creating in my head. I just got a little foggy with the details. This is perfect

I'm making something similar for my product shots, since you made an innner and outer frame i would have sandwiched the fabric between the two.
