@@amolpathakndb doing experiment with normal phone camera is stupidity alright i once tried to record underwater with my LG T-300 phone it was a freaking java phone when none of these so called smartphone even existed nor IP68 water was given on any phone and as result my phone died and memory card slot died and now i just have it's body as a memory of my first phone

@@Cassianormourao take your kit lens, add an automatic extension tube to it, automatic tubes will allow you to keep autofocus and fstop controls...... you need the absolute smalles aperture since the depth of field will be unbelievably shallow.... and as for mm, it matters little.... start experimenting and you'll figure it out as you go along
@@Cassianormourao no, you have it the other way around.... aperture width is focal length divided by f-stop number, so the larger the number the smaller the aperture....... small f-stop numbers mean wider apertures and vice versa.... you need small apertures to make the depth of field as wide as possible, since it's extremely shallow in macro by default i used my kit lens(18-55) with an extension tube to take this shot of a dime, it was f/14, so a small aperture www.reddit.com/r/photocritique/comments/5jpbwn/dime_macro/

Yes, I have tried macro photography and I love it! In fact, it's my favourite photography style. :)
It takes a little experimenting with the settings and the tube angle, but some of the results from the crisp tube are excellent. Thanks for the idea.
I did a flower macro with your diffuser idea, so beautiful, and also some patterns of carpets, thanks a lot or these amazing ideas.
Here's a macro tip... I use pizza bases (the white Styrofoam ones) as fill reflectors outside.

My favorite lenses for macro are the Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS macro and the Tamron 45mm f/1.8 VC.
